Cottage was spotless with a very comfortable large bed and many nice touches every where. Kitchen was fully equiped with everything.The loction is lovely a shame the pub doesnt do meals during the week as we were not there at the weekend. We had a fantastic breakfast at the farm one morning but make sure you put full address into satnav as ours sent us off in the wrong direction. We realised that it wasn’t picking up the full details.
This charming and excellently appointed cottage in the rural village of Kirk Ireton was the perfect base for exploration of this part of the Peak District. The decor and furnishings were contemporary but with a unique custom made traditional feel, we were very comfortable. The master bed was a major design statement being a pretty large and superbly crafted homage to a four poster but with a robust contemporary twist. Not to be missed!
