With five bedrooms, three bathrooms, large, sociable dining kitchen and cosy yet spacious lounge, Fern House is the perfect retreat for a family or group getaway and sleeps 8 adults and 2 children. The house benefits from a very impressive-east-facing sun-trap garden, with a range of outdoor seating areas and gorgeous decking. There is private parking for two cars on the driveway, and Fern House can welcome up to two small - medium size dogs too.

The house was fantastic and the attention to detail was beautiful. The hosts Lisa and Richard were superb responsive and checked in with us to ensure we had everything we needed and were enjoying our stay.

A beautiful large house with every amenity . Furnished to a really high standard and very comfortable. Perfect for a large family or extended family get together. Close to Warkworth and Amble and other interesting towns and resorts. We loved the cinema room upstairs !

A beautiful home in a great location for exploring the area. Our family had a wonderful time, we love visiting Northumberland and regularly stay in cottages this one is definitely one of the best! It has everything we needed and so comfortable. We would definitely stay again!

We look to rent a house each summer for all our family both in the UK and France to meet up. Two grand parents , two children and their partners, two grandchildren and Angus the dog descended on Acclington and Fern House for a seven day holiday.

The house is a new build in a small estate of similar properties surrounded by the village and open farm land. It is a beautiful property and located in a great position to visit local villages and towns. In addition the A1 is on head to go further North eg Bamburgh and Holy Island.

Fern House is very well equipped and has a great family kitchen and lounge, together with large bedrooms and at the top of the house a cinema room.

The owners are very amiable and phoned us on our way to the area to say the house was ready for occupation prior to the 4 pm deadline which was very nice .

We had a fabulous week with a wonderful base being Fern House. Would recommend it to anyone.

A very well appointed and equipped house, owner very helpful and readily available, the cinema room was a real bonus for the children. Without doubt one of the best holiday rentals we have stayed in.

Fantastic house for the whole family to spend together in luxury. Finally found a holiday home which caters for our family of 9. So everyone has their own bathroom and bed sizes like at home. The garden is perfect too. Just as the photograph shows.
It was very clean and modern.

We have just returned from a week's holiday staying at Fern Cottage. Everything was immaculate. A first rate accommodation. We had a small issue with working the projector in the cinema room and we had an immediate response (all sorted very quickly) which was excellent customer service. Thank you.

The house was perfect and very well equipped. We had fun in the cinema room watching the England match together.
We also enjoyed the garden and were able to sit outside on the lovely sofa.
So much space in the different rooms we were able to be together but also find our own place to be quiet.
We were 3 generations and a dog and it as perfect.

We couldn’t fault this house at all - it is beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. The owners had thought of everything and we felt very spoilt. We weren’t able to make much use of the garden because of the weather but we had plenty of space indoors and the cinema room was a great addition.
The property is dog welcoming with bowls, towels, and treats provided, but the extremely high level of cleanliness gave no hint that a dog had ever been in the property. Perfect!

We had a wonderful week at Fern House. It is a beautiful family home with every possible need catered for (they is even a slow cooker!). The welcome basket was excellent and thoughtfully chosen.

As usual we were not disappointed with Coquet Cottages. The house was lovely, very well equipped, a great welcome hamper, comfy beds altogether excellent. The owner was very helpful and left us a welcoming message. We were 3 generations from 6 years to 76. Beautiful house couldn’t recommend it highly enough. Thank you.

When we opened the door we were blown away by this stunning property. Everything is to the highest standard & there is everything that you could want for & more besides. Fabulous decor & attention to detail is second to none. Lovely hamper to welcome us & calls from the owners to make sure we were OK. The only thing wrong was we weren't there for longer. Who cares its January - Fern House is pure luxury :)

Absolutely fabulous house. Every need catered for. Super well equipped kitchen. Beautiful spacious bedrooms and bathrooms. Towels, bedding and toiletries provided. Tv's and alexa dots in all rooms. Great cinema room. Fantastic welcome hamper provided and the owners are very friendly and approachable if needed. I would give this house 6 stars if I could as 5 doesn't seem enough!

Fern House was perfect for our weekend stay. It had plenty of space for six adults and four children ; 5 beautiful bedrooms, a generous lounge with comfy sofas and a log burner, an enormous kitchen that all the family could be in without feeling cramped and the added bonus of a cinema room on the top floor.
All the fixtures and fittings were very high quality. The house was warm and cosy, it had beautiful bathrooms with lots of fluffy towels. The kitchen was very equipped with an excellent range cooker.
It is in a very good location -only a short drive from Warkworth, Amble and Alnwick.
I highly recommend Fern House, our family would love to return in the summer to make use of the wonderful garden.

This was our first visit to Fern House and certainly will not be our last. The property was immaculate throughout, all interior furnishings were to a very high standard and we could not fault the property in any way shape or form. The additional touches such as the hamper, home made scones and toiletries in each bathroom added that personal, luxurious touch and went down a storm with our party. This property really is a hidden gem. We enjoyed Sunday lunch at the Railway Inn which is within walking distance of the property, it is advisable to pre-book for anybody wishing to visit.

Fern cottage is first class holiday accommodation in a great location. The house is well equipped, so comfortable with everything you need to make a holiday really enjoyable. Plenty room to move around when holidaying with extended family. The bedrooms are very well decorated with comfortable beds. The cinema was a bonus where we could settle down together to watch a film or the football in our case. Enclosed garden great for children and dog. Lots to see and do nearby including the castle and beach in nearby town of Warkworth. The ice-cream Farm was a hit with the grandchildren. Neighbours were helpful and friendly when we arrived with flat tyre. Lovely home made scones and goodies were welcome on arrival. Will certainly be back.

A beautiful modern house which very nicely accommodated 3 families ( 6 adults and 3 children). The children loved the cinema room and the adults appreciated the space to relax. I was very pleasantly surprised how much there was to do locally. The beaches were good and are only a few minutes drive away. Would love to holiday at Fern House again

A lovely 5 bed detached house set in a small village but perfectly situated for exploring the local area.
The accommodation was particularly clean on arrival and catered for our every need.
The owners are very approachable and had to visit at the weekend to rectify damage caused to the cinema room by previous guests.
All in all, a very relaxing stay in a superbly equipped property.

We have come to recognise that Coquet Cottages have the best holiday rental cottages . Perfect in every way. Fern House did not disappoint. A lovely large modern and well planned house. It had everything we needed and more.(though we couldn’t find the pizza cutter)
Each bedroom was of a good size with very comfortable beds.Fabulous quality soft furnishings and furniture throughout.
The house was a convenient distance to Amble and Warkworth etc. A local corner shop would have saved us journeying further afield at times. We wouldn’t hesitate to rebook this house in the future.
