This was a three generation holiday with two children, 2 and 4, and activities oriented around them.

The house was excellent, very well furnished and equipped, and a thoroughly well designed conversion in a farm courtyard. The enclosed garden was great for the kids, and the location was splendid. The owner was lovely; extremely attentive and welcoming. There was a glitch with the recently installed EV charging point which kept us at base for the best part of a day but it was put right by the speedy attendance of specialists called up by the owner in exemplary fashion.

We were blown away by this cottage. Location is ideal for exploring the area and the views are amazing. It was so quiet as well, no outdoor noise apart from an occasional cow.
The property itself was outstanding. Everything we could possibly have needed was there and even things we didn't know we needed. It was like a home away from home but nicer than home! So many beautiful little touches. Loads of space, everything done to a very high standard.
Owner called me the day we were due to arrive to offer an early check in and to let me know how to use the electric car charger and check if we needed anything and was so lovely. Amazing hamper of treats on arrival and there were fresh flowers too.
I felt like I was staying in a 5 star hotel but with self catering facilities. I came home from this holiday totally relaxed. This was excellent value for money and we will definitely be back!

Low Tide is a beautifully presented spacious cottage.
It contains everything needed for a holiday, in fact a real home from home. The quality of the interior was exceptional. Comfy sofas, crisp cotton bedding and soft towels.
The welcome basket was full of local goodies and was much appreciated.
What a find!

The property was superb and suited the 6 adult members of our party.
Plenty of space as well as being practical and functional.
The location was what we required to
give walking access to Bamburgh, Dustanburgh and Craster. The bus service was cheap and accessible.
We ate locally at the Joiners Arms and the Jolly Fisherman both excellent and
had a few drinks at the Ship
Fabulous weather capped it off.
Our love affair with the Northumberland coast continues.......

We have stayed in many self catering properties over the years but Low Tide wins hands down. Firstly it's position is so good, beautiful beaches only a few minutes drive away and access to so many places of interest. The property is situated in a delightful position with lovely views and isn't overlooked. Inside it has been decorated so tastefully, and there was everything you could possibly need, we didn't want to leave. The beds were super comfy and the welcome pack and cheese scones were amazing.
We will certainly be going back.

Beautiful and well kept cottage. Quiet and isolated but just a short drive to all the main tourist hotspots in the region. Lots of luxury touches such as welcome hamper, coffee machine, toiletries. Fantastic location, close to two of the best beaches in Northumberland, and great local pubs.

We stayed as a grown up family of four. The cottage was as we remembered it with a few added extras on last year. Plenty of well furbished space and very comfortable. The location is perfect - accessible but quiet and easy to walk from to the English coastal path. Handy for Hexham and Alnwick too. We discovered the excellent coastal bus service this time too so we could travel further afield and walk back, almost always via The Ship Inn at Low Newton by the Sea! We would happily return here again.

We really enjoyed our stay at Low Tide and found the design and setting of the cottage quite lovely. We especially like the sun room area with views of the garden and the sea. The cottage is well situated for many of the wonderful opportunities in the area. One disappointment was that we were not able to walk from the cottage - the road outside was far too busy and very dangerous. We found the local pubs very good and had an excellent meal at The Joiners Arms in Newton. The small shop at the garage in Embleton had amazing stock, including fresh bread.
