Decorated and appointed to a high standard, this Victorian town house is fitted with modern amenities and provided a "home from home" welcome on arrival. This house was just amazing. It could not have been any better. Lovely selection of local treats in the welcome pack which were tasty and luxurious. We did not want for anything when staying here. A few lovely individual shops in the village and a good selection of pubs to choose from, all in walking distance and a very nice restaurant literally opposite. The beach is also walking distance. Perfect!

We had a lovely time at Rosemary Cottage. Our first visit to Northumberland and we will definitely be back soon. The cottage is lovely in a beautiful location, nestled in a small hamlet surrounded by fields and a short drive to the beach at Bamburgh. It was wet and windy during our stay but we found plenty to do and explore nearby. On the odd clear day we had views from the garden out to Holy Island and beyond.
Very bright and spacious property. Situated in a quiet hamlet on the edge of Bamburgh which has several eateries and access to a beautiful beach with miles of lovely sands. Would definitely stay again.
This was a return stay at Holburn Mill Cottage and it was first class again. Alan and Christine make guests feel very welcome and the cottage is a perfect place to get away and relax.
This was our first stay at Nightfold Cottage but it won't be our last. It is a charming cottage with all you need for a perfect stay. It is characterful, warm and welcoming. It is convenient for all the local amenities. It is a good base from which to explore the beautiful Northumberland.
The cottage had everything needed for a luxurious stay. The hamper was so well put together, there was something for everyone, even the Amber the cockapoo! We settled in really quickly and had a fabulous break. It was about 15 mins walk to the beach and the location was so quiet and peaceful. Very highly recommended!

The Dukes is comfortable, modern, warm with everything we needed for self catering. The welcome hamper was the best ever - so generous. Very convenient for exploring the town and further afield. We had a great holiday in Northumberland with a trip to Edinburgh by train for a day.
One thing we felt was the sofas are a bit tired and not comfortable and too low for us oldies,maybe could do with being updated,plus the two small fridges where not brilliant as we stayed eight nights we struggled with food storage,and there where only five mugs,one of which was chipped,but overall we had a brilliant time,the staff are fantastic and very helpful and the apartment is amazing despite the tiny niggles,would definitely recommend this one.

A warm and welcoming apartment for a winter stay. Excellent location, near to shops and transport links, no need to use the car unless you wanted to. Communication from Coquet and especially from Steve, the owner, was first class, one minor problem with access was dealt with immediately. Very well equipped and with a welcome pack which meant we didn’t have to shop immediately, although a supermarket was just over the road. This was our third stay in this apartment and would happily return.
The Gingan is situated a 10 to 15 minute walk from Seahouses. It is situated in a quiet cul de sac with parking for two cars outside and extra parking nearby. We were met by a lovely welcome pack which was very much appreciated as were the fresh flowers. The property is exceptionally equipped, with everything you could possibly need available to you. Booked as a family holiday for ourselves + children and grandchildren. This was our sixth stay at driftwood, which I think says how much we enjoy the property and its location,(it is beginning to feel like our second home!) There is plenty of room and the lounge located on the middle floor gives a lovely view across the links and towards Coquet island which is also a lovely area for dog walking, I always enjoy the early morning walk to watch the sunrise over the island. We had a lovely late autumn break, the weather was kind and we made the most of it, exploring the Roman sites and walking miles and miles! Having such a lovely cottage to come back to made the days even more special as we were always looking forward to the evenings in front of a roaring fire with a glass of wine.

This is a hidden gem of a properry. We have stayed in other property with Coquet and with other companies this one is special! The owners were attentive and helpful too. On entering the house it smelled divine and was spotlessly clean. There was a generous welcome hamper including one for our dog which was very much appreciated. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this spotlessly clean, beautifully furnished and comfortable cottage. Lots of thought and consideration had gone into making sure we had everything we needed and some lovely finishing touches had been added making this one of the best cottages we have stayed in. We returned for our second stay here and it didn't disappoint. The cottage was decorated for Christmas in a lovely way and that set the scene for the cozy stay this week. The cottage is always spotlessly clean and the hosts are really friendly and helpful if required. We love the fact that you can walk to Warkworth and Amble without having to use the car. We had a wonderful week long stay at the beautiful Cowslip Barn at Cavil Head Farm. The hosts contacted us the next morning after arrival to check everything was perfect, which was a nice touch. The house itself is stunning and peaceful with views over the countryside. It was spotlessly clean, spacious and the decor is of a very high standard. There is so much to do within a short car journey. We would recommend you talk a walk along any of the local beaches, or a stroll around Amble or Warkworth. This is our second stay at Rebecca House it works well for us with 5/6 adults staying as there are 3 bathrooms. Plenty of seating in the lounge which we have had a problem with in the past. Very well equipped kitchen with plenty of cups plates glasses etc. Price wise comparable to others but wouldn’t want to pay anymore. Location perfect for us..some nice places to eat and walk if you don’t want to take the car out. Big plus is they allow us to take Oscar our Labrador who also loves it! I’m sure we will be using again (although not entirely happy with the booking agent)
What a wonderful week we had in this stunning home. The house was absolutely beautiful with amazing views from the lounge. It was clean and had everything we could need for a home from home. This was a great location for Amble and for exploring the surrounding areas. The little touches of the welcome hamper for ourselves and our dog were very welcome. Unbelievable! The owners have thought of everything. Superb quality throughout, sumptuously comfortable beds, plenty of soft fluffy towels, a kitchen that is beyond fully stocked with utensils. Arriving armed with a thorough file of notes from the agent the off road parking was a great start. The property was spotless and a phone call from the owner on the first night was appreciated. We had an excellent short break at Hemingway's, Amble. The flat is spacious, it is wonderfully situated with views over the marina and river Coquet and it is very well equipped with quality furniture, fixtures & fittings. Even the kitchen knives are sharp! Parking, check-in and check-out were all handled smoothly and the reception and other staff are friendly and approachable. Amble is well located as a base for wider exploration of the North East and it has a bustling high street and good pubs and restaurants. We had a really good time and I have no hesitation in recommending Hemingway's.
Puffin Burrows was a delight to stop at. There was everything you could have needed in the property. It was very clean and a great standard. The welcome hamper was delightful. We would 100% stay there again. We also went on a boat trip to farne islands which was great and well worth it, but wrap up it's cold. Bamburgh castle was great also.
We booked Fieldside House as we wanted space to have a break in Northumberland with our grandchildren and it was perfect. The kitchen was ideal allowing us all to be together while the adults prepared the meals. Having the park so close by was the children's favourite thing. It was excellent for their ages 2, 4, and 9 and it goalposts for a football crazy 9 year which he loved. Comfortable beds, lovely bathrooms and well equipped. Victoria Cottage was an amazing place to stay, the location was ideal right on the River Coquet, and it was immaculate inside. The welcome hamper was a really lovely surprise, it contained everything we needed for the first few days. It was nice to receive a call from Alan and Pat the owners to make sure all was ok. We will definitely stay here again when we are next in the North East visiting family.

Honeybee cottage was beautiful. Great location , equipped with everything we could possibly need. It was extremely cosy, perfect for a winter break. The beds were very comfortable and the bathrooms done to a very high standard with a good supply of toiletries. Warkworth is a great location with 3 friendly pubs all doing decent food. Amble is in walking distance with several good eating places. We come every December to the area for a break and Honeybee is one of the nicest cottages we have stayed in .
Our first reaction on entering this property was WOW.The property itself is stunning as is the view and the owner has thought of everything.We not only chose it for it’s position but also as we are both in our 70s the fact it has a lift is a real bonus.A short stroll took us to many restaurants and we also used the bus to outlying villages and towns.Will definitely return hopefully in the near future.

We have stayed in this property several times and keep coming back because of the location, the comfy furnishings and the ease of getting around the apartment for my sister-in-law who has mobility problems. To sit in the Stressless chairs & watch the changing view through the picture window is our favourite pastime after a long walk. The kitchen is very well equipped (although an oven glove would be good) and the welcome hamper was amazing with lots of tasty treats. This is a well appointed property with a view over the marina and a parking space on site We have stayed here 3 times via Coquet Cottages although the property owner has changed. It is always clean on arrival with good quality towels, linen, crockery and cookware One en- suite shower and one bathroom with bath and over shower. One king size and one twin bedroom. This is a lovely house in an excellent location adjacent to the river so the view is gorgeous. The house is well appointed and we spent most of our time in the large spacious kitchen which gives access to the garden and views to the river. The only disappointment is the lack of wardrobe in the second bedroom - the hooks on the wall are insufficient in my view.
The Old Library is very conveniently located and having the parking spaces are a real bonus. There is plenty of room, the sofas. are comfortable and dining area is a really good size. The kitchen has everything you could need for a self catering stay. The entrance works really well to store coats and footwear. The bedrooms are a good size, beds comfortable and ensuites are spacious and there is plenty of hot water.
Gravies was clean comfortable and well equipped, the information provided by Coquet cottages was as usual helpful clear and friendly.

We loved our stay at Pine Cone Hideaway to celebrate our anniversary. It was set in a lovely garden with a stunning view into the woodland that we could spend hours gazing at. The bed was so comfortable and the bedding luxurious. There were lots of nice touches including a welcome hamper for us and one for our dog. Two log burners was a real treat. The roll top bath was lovely. All in all, a wonderful stay to celebrate our anniversary.
What a lovely cosy cottage in a good location village shop and pub near by. It's well stocked with everything you need very comfortable and warm also has a great log burner if you want a nice atmosphere. It's also dog friendly which is an added bonus. My husband and I stayed at Lost Lobster Cottage to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. The cottage is perfect and so is the location. Welcome pack was fantastic and there is everything you need for a relaxing stay. The cottage was spotless on arrival and very well equipped. The village is beautiful as is Embleton Bay and The Grey's Inn is a great pub for a few drinks. We ate at The Potted Lobster Bamburgh, The Jolly Fisherman's Craster and The Joiners Arms High Newton. A warm & comfortable home in an excellent location which is why we’ve just had our 4th visit to Earls Cottage. It’s a few minutes walk to the town centre for shops & restaurants etc & only 10 minutes drive to the beach. The allocated parking space is an added bonus. The owners provide everything required for a comfortable stay, & include a starter hamper as well as a dog treat one. We will definitely be returning in 2025
Fuchsia cottage is perfect. It is very comfortable with everything provided. The beds are extremely comfortable, the living room is cosy with a gorgeous log burner and the kitchen/diner is spacious and well-equipped. The cottage has a pretty garden which catches the sun, even during our stay in October. The owner is welcoming - they left a hamper for our arrival and sent a text to check all was ok. The cottage is well-placed for exploring the beautiful area.

This was our third stay at Copperfield House and needless to say we’ve booked again for next year already. We love it! The house provides a comfortable and well furnished base from where we can explore the beautiful Northumberland Coast, while being conveniently located for town centre amenities that are found in Alnwick itself. We have stayed in The Sewing Room before. It is in a quiet location behind the Coach House with its own enclosed yard. The lounge and kitchen are just right for two people and a dog. As it is enclosed by other buildings does not seem to get too cold even in the snow we had last week. There are two bathrooms, including en suite for the main bedroom. The beach is two minutes walk as are the pubs,restaurant and deli. Ideal for driving to Alnwick or touring the coast.
The cottage was lovely like home from home for comfort and we'll situated for lots of places. We used the kota barbaque which was great and kitted out with everything needed. Lovely beaches and weather was great as well. Great week and would go back again.
A quirky cottage on 2.5 levels with homely touches that made it comfortable and welcoming. The location is ideal, adjacent to the river and a walkable distance to the beach. Although it’s in the town it’s quiet. The shops and eateries are just up the lane. Lots of places for walking the dog too.

Three generations enjoyed the holiday. Spacious house and garden allowed us to have time together but also a quiet area could be found if desired. Utility room great for coats, shoes and drying if rainy. A good holiday home with well equipped kitchen.

Sandpiper is a very beautiful property and is is cared for by the housekeeping team to a very high standard. The house is immaculate and very welcoming. There was a lovely welcome basket , fresh flowers and even the dogs were catered for. It is an extremely comfortable house with plenty of space. The location is nice and private and quiet.
Lovely large, but still very cosy, cottage. Perfect for four generations getting together to celebrate my 60th birthday. Lovely surprise to see a couple of Christmas trees and decorations up, making it all feel extra special. House very well equipped with all we needed and more. Very comfy beds. We all loved the BBQ hut in the garden. Easily seated all nine of us and a toddler. Only a ten minute walk to nearby Seahouses with its lovely gift shops, take aways and pubs/restaurants.

We have visited the Alnmouth area for a number of years. This is the first time we have stayed in Lesbury - just a few minutes away. Larch House is a stunning home and we felt at home from the moment we opened the front door. Everything was perfect with everything we could have wanted. Lesbury is a quiet and restful village. The village shop has everything you would need and The Coach Inn is certainly well worth a visit or two. A perfect week in a perfect home.
Lovely well-equipped cottage, ,with beautiful views in an excellent position to explore the Coquet Valley. Good, enclosed garden which our dog loved. Walk directly from the back of the garden onto the surrounding moors.

No logs were provided for the burner, it was hard to keep the house warm as the heating temperature kept being reset. Everyone appreciated all the ensuites and the wonderful garden. Loved our stay and we would have no hesitation in returning.
Our second stay at this cottage which is in a great position just back from the river Coquet in Warkworth. The cottage is tastefully furnished with nice decor and it is very comfortable and cosy. The lounge has a log burner for cooler evenings and there is a nice 'snug' overlooking the back. Warkworth Castle is close by as are the shops and hostelries in Warkworth village. A lovely village in a lovely part of the country.

Nice property in a great location in Alnwick. Good customer service from Coquet Cottages and a lovely welcome pack. Heating wasn't always effective and at times the property felt cold. Beds were very comfortable. The kitchen and living area was a lovely socialising space but would benefit from better lighting.
The settees and bed weren’t the most comfortable. The large dining table is too big for a property sleeping 2-3 people and is a little restrictive to get around. On the plus side the cottage was always warm and in a nice quiet location with a lovely view of the castle, the welcoming hamper was A1.
Waleric House is spacious yet warm and cosy, its location in Alnmouth offers lots of options without getting into the car.. and many more within 10-15 minutes. It’s a great spot and allows a very relaxing break for multiple generations in one spot.

Regular visitors to Northumbria we have visited but not stayed in Alnmouth before. It is a lovely coastal town with large sandy beach and beautiful estuary teeming with bird life. There are several pubs and cafes, upmarket deli and fantastic village store. All within 5 mins walk of Sandy Shores. The property it self has a fantastic outlook over the river with a west facing balcony for wonderful sunsets. The accommodation is great for 6+adults and perfect for family celebrations. The dining room seat 8 for dining and table top gaming. Large spacious lounge for chilling.
The cottage had been renovated well but areas were starting to require some tlc. For example lots of wall cracking, some paint needing attention and a few bathroom areas needed some work. A couple of the carpet areas were also in need of cleaning or replacing We found the settee and chair very uncomfortable but maybe that was personal preference. We have stayed in Coquet cottages before and unfortunately this fell a little short of the mark. However the kitchen was lovely and the welcome pack a nice touch. We did also expect more toiletries in the bathroom area.

We are repeat visitors to Riverstone. The reasons we keep returning include: location right by the river is fabulous (wildlife sightings this time included a seal and kingfisher right outside the kitchen), and well tucked away from traffic so lovely and quiet. Overall the house is really clean and comfortable, with a well equipped kitchen, and warm and cosy with good central heating and an optional open fire, which we've never needed to use. The apartment is even better than the pictures suggest. There are great views from the sitting room and kitchen and the whole place is lovely and spacious. There is also a small terrace and and enclosed garden, which I don't think was mentioned in the listing. The only small downsides were that it was hard to open some windows and a small amount of noise from the upstairs apartment which could be heard in the sitting room. Neither of these would put me off booking again.
Fabulous accommodation in a wonderfully peaceful location - 30 mins walk into Bamburgh. Ideally situated to tour around Northumberland by car. A quality retreat which is a credit to the owners. Highly recommend.
The living room upstairs greatly enhanced the enjoyment of the property with superb views from the windows and balcony inland and of the coast. The garden was spacious and loved by our two dogs. The property was well resourced with toiletries and kitchen consumables so we didn’t have to go shopping to restock. The location meant there is no pubs or restaurants in easy walking distance but Bamburgh was less than 5 mins in the car with plenty of food and drink options.
We had an enjoyable week at Cherry Tree Cottage. The kitchen and facilities were very good. It's a sizeable property perfect for a family to enjoy. It has a good size garden and a lovely play area just a couple of minutes from the property which can be accessed without crossing the road. Didn't like the HIVE technology for the heating as we had no previous experience. However, used the hand held control unit to operate the Heating manually, with no issues.
We found The Dunes very suitable for us, 3 bedrooms, 3 bathrooms. The house is brightly furnished and very comfortable. None of us cook with electricity and we found the induction hob an amusing challenge. We are of a generation who appreciate an instruction book as downloading an app is another even bigger challenge. In Scotland different Councils have different colour coding for refuse bins. We are quite fussy and although we enjoyed our stay we thought the Cottage could do with a deep clean. There were lots of cobwebs and dust and areas in the bathrooms could have been cleaner. The downstairs bedroom radiator didn’t work which didn’t matter to us as we just used the upstairs rooms. The water pressure in the showers is quite low. The views are amazing.
The Coasthouse had everything.High tech kltchen. Lovely bedrooms and the most comfortable beds.Livingroom large TV and balcony with view.Weather was great so barbecue and outside area were fantastic.Plenty of room for a family of eight and 2 dogs. Parking for 3 cars a bonus.Beadnell a lovely village with good eating places
We've stayed at an adjacent property before so knew the area and were hopeful that Coquet View would be of a similarly high standard. We weren't disappointed, it was excellent; beautifully furnished and well equipped. The service from the staff at Coquet Cottages is second to none.
Fantastic location and great property- had a fantastic stay. The house has everything you need - would visit again.

We have always stayed in Cottages/houses in the last 10 years of staying in Warkworth and this time we chose to stay in one of the apartments through the same company Coquet Cottages. Certainly surprised with how spacious the living space was in The Buttery and we were comfortable with our greyhound and there was plenty of room to relax and watch tv and also good space to have food at the table or on some occasions log on to the computer to deal with emails. Bridge Barn cottage met our needs for a week away in the autumn sunshine. The property was warm and comfortable and we particularly enjoyed the generous welcome pack. We had everything we needed for a self-catering stay. We enjoyed the garden and appreciated the quiet location.
Novelist cottage has lots of character and provides a home from home. Easy walk to Alnwick town and a cosy pub (Tanners) a few doors down. Cottage (well, an old school before becoming a library) was clean and tidy with everything you could want for a comfortable break.
Travelled here as a group of two couples, and had a fantastic stay! Downstairs is bigger than it looked in the photos -- great space for socialising. Great location for exploring the coast -- the walk into Craster/to Dunstanburgh castle is very easy, and you're also a short drive from Alnwick, close enough to do a daytrip to Lindisfarne, etc.

Pickwick Cottage in the centre of Alnwick was an excellent choice for us. Parking isn't always easy... but always found a reasonable place. The cottage was clean and very well appointed. Great place to explore Northumberland from. Would highly recommend.

Lovely stay in the heart of Alnwick. Great location and very close to the Castle, Gardens, Barter Books and local shops, including marketplace. Comfortable and well equipped accommodation.
Such a lovely cottage, very well presented and equipped with everything we needed. Perfect location in beautiful village with excellent community shop and pub down the road and parking on site ( such a bonus) It was a last minute booking and we couldn’t have asked for anything better.
It was a nice property but not sure about the building that the flat overlooked as there was trouble one night and police were called so we left 2 days early as it was a bit unsettling. Flat was pretty clean although the balcony was dirty bird droppings etc. bed was super comfy It’s location was good for shops restaurants etc.
Lovely house and location, did not realise there is no washing machine or extra towels, so not viable if you have a family or need to clean anything. We could not risk it again and it’s a shame they don’t have one. Just beware.
Lovely cottage in a peaceful area. Very well equipped kitchen and great social dining space. Living room was bright and sunny with lots of comfortable seating. Gas log burner stove was very welcoming. Bedrooms were well appointed and decor throughout the house was lovely. The best welcome hamper we’ve ever received. This is our 6th different holiday home we have stayed at in Seahouses and was by far the best. Would definitely stay at Puffin Cottage again.

We had a wonderful stay at the boat house, we were greeted with a lovely welcome hamper for both us and our dog. The house is in a great location with Warkworth on the doorstep and Amble and Alnmouth within walking distance. The app is definitely worth downloading, one of the best ideas, provided us with more info than other rental companies we have used.
Last minute decision to have a weekend break. The girls in the office were efficient and helpful. The cottage was welcoming on arrival with lamps on, a nice welcome hamper and flowers. It was small but comfortable for the weekend. Although after an afternoon on the beach it would have been nice to have had some logs for the fire
A lovely big house - ample for our party of 9. Great location for Wooler high street and able to park all 3 cars on the drive. 20/30 mins from the coast. Beds clean & comfortable, plenty of seating downstairs for us all to 'spread out'. Hot tub was a great addition. The property did feel a bit 'tired' in places - garden furniture was in need of some TLC, a lot of the crockery was chipped, glasses mixed in size and shape and we couldn't muster 9 tumblers (mainly wine/prosecco glasses). Perfect Cottage central location with easy parking on Street. Large living area with log burner and fantastic Kitchen and large garden.
When we arrived the outward appearance was a little disappointing and didn’t look very inviting. However it is an extremely well equipped cottage with lovely furnishings and the beds were very comfortable. We felt cold some of the time and the water was generally not very hot. As an older couple we couldn’t get down to reach the switches on the electric fire. With all the little steps inside and steep staircase probably more suited to younger couples.
Everything in The Rushes was provided and presented to a very high standard apart from the lounge seating which was extremely uncomfortable and in need of cleaning. The sound system was very welcome and the kitchen was VERY well equipped. The beds and two, double bedrooms were extremely comfortable with a very generous amount of storage space. The welcome hamper was a good addition with some lovely treats and it was a real bonus to have fresh flowers. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again IF the sofas were replaced.
High tide is a little gem, set in beautiful countryside with views of the sea. Being able to step out the front door into a walk is a real bonus, especially for our four legged member of the family!! The welcoming and cosy cottage is a great place to relax after a day out, or not.
The Hermitage was a wonderful cottage, beautifully appointed, warm and very well equipped. The upstairs lounge had an amazing picture postcard view of the castle. The perfect place to share with friends or family.
The Bakers Dozen couldn’t have been more central. It was literally a 5 minute walk to the Castle and on the doorstep to the town. It had everything you would need. It was lovely and warm when we arrived and despite the weather turning cooler we never had to use the heating.

The welcome pack was truly wonderful and everything about Tower House just followed on to the same standard. Tower House is very well placed within the village and Warkworth itself makes a great base to visit the surrounding area.
I cannot help but give this place five stars. The customer service began with a phone call in the afternoon of our first day, telling us that the cottage was ready for us. We were walking around the village with a couple of hours to spare, so this was great news. We walked in to fresh flowers, a handmade cake (delicious) and everything else we could wish for. The beds were comfortable, the sofas were comfortable, there were plenty of cups and plates in the kitchen, together with a coffee machine, and lots of books to choose from. Booked for a three generation seaside break. Excellent location. Lovely private courtyard for dog and toddler. Very well equipped kitchen for cooking large family meals Loved the VHS library
Aged 3 to 80, plus dogs 1 and 8, we soon settled into Marram House. It’s a family home as if the owners have just popped out - very well equipped including children’s toys and books which were much enjoyed at 6am (quietly!!). Really good kitchen and dining room across the back of the house, and separate utility room. Sleeping soundly upstairs, the owners made us all feel very welcome indeed. A minute or two from Bamburgh centre and maybe 5 minutes to the beach - if we didn’t stop at the children’s playground on the way. Lovely cottage. Very cosy great location for walks on beach kitchejn well equipped. Only feedback was full overflowing external bins which were unsightly ( would have been more of issue in summer if using garden ). No starter pack of logs either. Welcome hamper fantastic Definitely stay again
