This is the second time we have stayed at Villa Amelia, originally chosen for its location within walking distance to the town centre. as well as its great facilities. The villa is lovely, especially the pool area - ideal for spending the day relaxing before heading into the town for dinner. Alternatively, a short walk takes you to the harbour for boat trips or a day at a beach club. We have stayed at several different villas in Kalkan and this is definitely our favourite. Having Ibo, the property manager, next door is great too, in the unlikely event that anything needs attention. Another fantastic holiday - thank you to all at Olive Tree Travel for their fantastic customer service.

I've stayed in many properties in Kalkan over the last 12 years or so and have to say that this is my favourite so far. To start with the location is excellent. Located on the Lykia estate it is just a few minutes (fairly level) walk from the town, yet it feels a world away. The area feels almost like you are in the countryside. The road to and from the villa past the Dionysia Hotel is leafy, green and quiet. The villa itself is exceptional. There is a small shaded garden to the front where the children can visit the tortoises, plus a shaded terrace. A path around the side leads to the pool, dining and sunbathing terrace. Inside, the villa is spacious, bright and modern with every conceivable facility/device you could possibly need. All of the bedrooms are also spacious. The roof terrace was my favourite area. It is very spacious with both sunny and shaded areas (an automatic sun shade activated by direct sunlight) a fully fitted outdoor kitchen, again with so much crockery, cutlery and utensils and a lovely dining area, plus lounge seats and table to the front of the terrace. The views from here are spectacular. We were a party of seven adults and two children so decided to also check out the communal pool for which there is a nominal charge of about £1 per person. It was huge and virtually deserted and a really nice area. Overall I would highly recommend this fabulous villa to anyone and would return myself if in a group.

We had a very enjoyable stay at Villa Amelia. Facilities were really good. Beautiful fixtures & fittings.
Would say 4th bedroom suitable more for maybe 2 children/teenagers. Also 2 bedrooms have glass doors etc to the bathrooms so were used by two single people in our party. As couples we would not choose them.
Excellent for sun or shade to dine. Good choice of dining tables inside & out. Everything you need in the kitchen.
Only 5 sun loungers but some very comfortable settees.
Although the pool was attended to daily we did find ourselves sometimes cleaning/sweeping the outside areas.
Would definite stay again if we had a smaller group. There were 6 of us.
MUST SAY WE HAD THE BEST VIEWS EVER FROM THE TOP TERRACE. The facilities up there are also excellent too.

Very comfortable and well-appointed villa close to all amenities in Kalkan. Perfect for all ages and with great service so you will be well looked after.
