My friends and I have stayed here multiple times and have never had any issues. A lovely pair of cottages in a delightful quiet location.
We enjoyed a wonderful New Year visit at Haybarton with our family. The cottage is very well equipped, and extremely comfortable. We were greeted by our host Richard who lives in the adjoining farmhouse, who offered help if we needed it, and then left us to enjoy our week. The cottage is in a small village, but with a fantastic pub, The Sidmouth Arms, which is an easy 10 minute walk away. We often struggle to eat out if we go away for New Year, with lots of places closed, but The Sidmouth Arms was fully open the whole time we were there, and the food was amazing. We had the most wonderful extended stay at Cowbyre – a truly exceptional holiday retreat. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by how spotlessly clean and luxurious the entire property was. The cottage is beautifully equipped, with three spacious ensuite bedrooms that provided us with all the comfort and convenience we could ask for. It’s clear that Caroline has thought of absolutely everything to make guests feel at home.
