We had the most relaxing stay at Coorie Braw, so many Lovey touches, Rae and Justin have thought about everything, beds very super comfortable and the place was spotless!! Would highly recommend this place, we will definitely be returning.
Stayed the week here with family and friends, couldn't have enjoyed our stay any more. The location and stunning views were just beautiful. All the facilities in the house were faultless. We will deffo recommend in the future :)

An excellent, cosy cabin to escape from the world, yet located in an area with so much to do. The host was super easy to contact, communicate with and provided limitless help and information. The hot shower and comfy beds topped it off. Cannot recommend enough.
We stayed at Fyne Rooms while walking the Loch Lomond and Cowal Way. The location was excellent and the room was very comfortable and clean. Our host was very friendly and we had everything we needed!
Property has everything you need for the perfect staycation. Hotel next door for food and the Oyster Catcher at Otter Ferry for marvellous Sunday roast. Views are beautiful and property is very dog friendly. Welcome pack and fire wood much appreciated.

Excellent house, which was used as a base to explore the area. We had very good weather more or less when we were there (mid-May 23 for a week), which helps. Not many midges about! The house was clean and comfortable with large kitchen area and dining area with two of all major white goods (two ovens, fridges, microwaves etc.). Me and four friends stayed at Raj’s awesome Fyne Rooms as a night stop over on our five ferries cycle weekend. Arrived late and soaked - the lovely rooms were a Godsend! Also, Raj lent us the use of small shed to lock our bikes up. Also despite being fully booked up & really busy, Raj and his lovely team Nathan & Tabby(?) cooked us some really tasty pakora and nan wraps. I would not hesitate recommending. Thank you guys, Tony
Seal point cottage is exactly as good as it looks. The cabin is stunning. Cosy but not cramped. The location was a little hard to get to but only because it's a single track road. The host was great at guiding us and directions given were spot on. It might be a little difficult if arriving for the first time in the dark but the reward is in the views. We were greeted with a warm welcome and wine and cookies. Perfect. Louisa gave us a little tour and explained how things worked. The accommodation is quirky, bright, comfortable and well equipped with fabulous views over the Firth of Clyde. We were able to sit out on the balcony on occasions despite having damp weather overall and I can imagine that being able to do that in a warm summer must be glorious. We found it to be a perfect base to explore the area. Kelburn Castle and estate is beautiful, we went via Glasgow on the train & subway to Govan to visit Fairfield Heritage Centre and went on the ferries to explore further afield. Beautiful & magical property. Stunning views of sweeping loch & mountains - even far prettier, in reality, than the photos do it justice. At Pedals and Paddles the all rooms are spacious, well serviced and very comfortable and the view is fabulous. The community is very welcoming - the shop, the hotel and the pub along with people coming and going. Easy parking and regular ferries if coming from the South or East, Easy cycling for miles both left and right and more challenging nearby. Kayaking and sailing are very popular all around the peninsula, lochs and firth. The bus service is regular and runs early to late. A very comfortable place to stay and much to do, visit and enjoy.
We decided to have a change from a caravan and this cabin suited us just fine. Very nice owners and a lovely box of goodies plus milk and bread to get us going. Nice quiet place for a good nights sleep not too far away from the main restaurant and the bingo would definitely come back.
We had another wonderful stay at Craignethan! The cottage has everything you would need & the views are outstanding even the very changeable Scottish weather looks great when you are nice & cosy in the living area. We would highly recommend & will definitely be back
When we arrived our whole family was impressed by the cleanliness and spec of the flat. From the lounge furniture, to the beds, towels, shower, bathroom, crockery, plates and everything in between we couldn’t have found better or fault anything in the flat. Everything in the flat felt brand new so we could see and apple the owners had done everything in their power to make this flat so comfortable, clean, accessible and enjoyable for us their guests. A lovely cottage in which no expense was spared by the owners, situated by the banks of the Canal, so close to passing yachts etc that verbal communication was possible. The amount of traffic in the canal was impressive and my partner and I spent many hours sitting outside in the garden enjoying watching all that was going on. Walks on the canal pathway were our daily exercise and highly recommended. We slept in the bedroom overlooking the canal and the bed was “brilliant”, so cosy and comfortable. Freeland Cottage is a beautiful home, loads of space and so warm and comfortable, everything you could possibly need is provided and the owners are extremely helpful and easily contactable, it snowed while we were there and they even brought us a bag of rock salt for the path without being asked We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again, the location is perfect for everything in and around Dunoon and the area is spectacular, lanscape and views to die for!
Findhorn was well equipped, bar no tea towels , in an excellent location & we all enjoyed our stay . The drive entrance was very tight & could do with widening. The notes in the apartment highlighted this and we parked over the road after the first day. Loved the area and definitely worth a visit
Heronlea cottage is located in a wildlife rich location with Red Deer seen every day. The cottage is comfortable with upside down living which gives lovely views over the garden, fields and woods. There is a need in some areas of the cottage for some updating. The Dunoon area has some lovely pubs with good food, the Isle of Bute can be visited via a ferry within 40 minutes. Benmore Botanical Garden is well worth a visit.

What a lovely place to stay, so close to all places of interest. Great garden for dog, orangery was a lovely space. The whole bungalow was well set out, clean and warm. Lil was brilliant. Just being so close to the hills, seeing the mist in the morning hanging low. The weather wasn't so great when we stayed, but it didn't matter. Had a relaxing stay.

Really clean and comfortable property, the house gave a wonderful welcome after a travelling the long & winding road. It was a perfect base from which to take part in the Lochgilphead triathlon running the same weekend. Would definitely consider booking again!
Excellent location for visiting many places of interest eg.Crinan canal, Kilmartin museum, Dunadd, rock art. House is well equipped, spotlessly clean, warm with comfortable bed and superb views.
We stayed in the Bute room at Fyne Rooms and loved it. The room was comfy, clean and in the perfect location. Raj and his wife Anita were thoughtful hosts and we hope to return someday. Highly recommended!
We (2 families) stayed a week in this really nice and cozy accomodation. We found everything we needed, the kitchen was really well equipped, the 3 bathroomes were new and very nice. The furnishings of the rooms are really great, we really felt at home in this house. The surrounding is exceptional and nice quite and every day we enjoyed the view to the ocean. There was a small problem with the shower at the start, but the caretaker took immediately care of it. We would come back any Time.

We had a wonderful.stay at The Old Store.... The location was stunning and the history behind the house made it all the more beautiful. My 12 year old son and our dog Reggie went on loads of short trips driving around in our VW Van Betsy to discover Old forests, castles and secluded beaches and a wonderfully sea trip to spot Eagles and much more. What a wonderful part of the world the Argyll coastline is. Cairnbann House is the ideal place and location to explore all of this part of Scotlands Glory.
Lovely well appointed apartment. Great walking from the front door - minutes from the Crinan Canal. Lovely shops nearby. Amazing views from the flat.
Ard Darach is a fantastic holiday lodge, the owners are great to deal with and our stay was perfect. The huge living room window gave us hours of fun watching the birds and Red Squirrels feed and play all day. The lodge is well laid out, comfortable and spotless. It feels more like a home than a holiday let. The site is quiet, feels secluded, but is a quick drive to the shops. We will go back, for sure. Our dog loved the stay as well.
House was very comfortable and very well equipped (especially for children) but we could have done with better and fuller instructions for operating the induction hob, the ovens and the heating.
We travel to the Cairnbaan area frequently but this was the first trip to Shelburne. We usually stay in separate accommodation but chose Shelburne to stay together. A delightfully quirky property that is well equipped and designed for a few families to stay together and make many happy memories. We will most certainly be returning! The local area has many hidden gems, forestry walks, trips to the Islands, decent restaurants to name but a few.
This was our second visit to Nursery cottage, unfortunately the weather was very similar to our previous visit in December (except the rain was warmer this time). As before, the cottage was very clean and comfortable. It has everything you need for a peaceful stay. This time we were entertained daily by a red squirrel raiding the bird feeder. It's the perfect place to chill out. We will definitely visit again.
We had the most amazing weekend stay. Although the weather was beautiful, if it had not been we woukd have happily have not left the property, the views and the location is stunning. It's so peaceful and equipped with everything needed, TV, books, games, great kitchen and warm enough with option of log burners which we didn't need because we were so lucky with the weather. Beds are super comfy. Maybe needs a wee paint touch up here and there, but that does not detract from everything else on offer. We ate at Kames Hotel, the selection and food was delicious.
Arthur’s Seat gave us everything we wanted! Yes, the steps up are steep but adds to the charm of the cottage and rewarded with the most spectacular view when you reach the cottage. Property was clean, homely and welcoming, if a little tired in places. The location is perfect for relaxation, with spectacular views over the Clyde from the front windows. Shower was amazing, and the kitchen was very well-equipped for a holiday let. I didn't find any of the furniture particularly comfortable, but I guess that's just personal preference (eg. the bed was WAY softer than I'm used to). Kames and the property are ideal for cycling and kayaking. Views from inside are limited but outside chairs are comfortable. Limited storage and small fridge but clean and comfortable with lots of great eating places not far away.

Nice, quiet location with sea view across the loch and well equipped. Some simple maintenance is required to fix the outside lights as the the path and steps are dangerous in the dark, also the shower doors.
This property is advertised with private parking but there isn't any. You need to park out of sight on the street and access the property down an alleyway and across a neighbours yard, which is littered with debris. I advised Argyll Self Catering of the error in the listing but 6 weeks later this has still not been rectified.
Eleven members of our family stayed at Fyne Rooms/Burnside and we were all delighted by the accommodations -- comfy, clean and in the perfect location. Raj and his wife Anita were thoughtful hosts and we hope to return someday. Highly recommended!

A lovely place to stay, quiet and secluded. It's small but well equipped and everything worked well. No cell phone reception because of the enclosed valley location but the wifi is excellent. There are good hill walks directly from the cottage and lots more within a 20 minute drive. Have stayed before and will hopefully stay again next year.
Enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. Very clean and comfortable and well equipped. Lots to see and do in the local area. Unfortunately the hot water tank developed a leak while we were there. Didn't cause us much of a problem but we decided to head home a day early because of the upheaval. Owner was very helpful, organised emergency plumber, and offered us an alternative property to stay in. We didn't take that offer up, being very close to the end of our booking. We have been given a refund for the day we didn't end up using, so very good service overall.
Positive is a quaint period cottage.Clear directions and entry instructions.Downsides;Disruptive intrusive traffic noise in sitting room and front bedroom being inches from busy main road. The accommodation is very central and has all you need for a short stay, parking is good and if needed you can walk easily into town.
The position of the house could not have been better.Wonderful sea view, with a patio to sit on and enjoy. The house had all the mod. cons you could want. Our only gripe was the towels. One very thin towel each for a week was not enough, they weren't thick enough to dry you after a shower. Otherwise very enjoyable stay.
A lovely log cabin in a lovely setting . My thoughts are that it would suit two adults comfortably. We were 3 adults and for example the settee easily seated 2 . With 3 it was too close together , for us anyway . We found all the notices of ‘don’t do this or that ‘ a bit unwelcoming and we have stayed in log cabins many times before . And in fact left Iona cabin to go to one on the Ardnamurchan! It was fine for 3 days and we enjoyed our stay as we are nature lovers and photographers!
There was a very damp and musty smell in the hall and bathroom. The vegetation surrounding the cabin was overgrown so the outside felt oppressive rather than having a clear view of the Loch as per the advertisement. The wall glazing needs cleaning. The owner kindly supplies a huge amount of logs stored outside. Half of them disappeared during our stay which made us feel insecure as we felt it may be a local resident. A beautiful holiday home right on Loch Holy! The house is newly renovated and leaves nothing to be desired. The surrounding area is beautiful, and there's so much to see and do! If we spend another holiday in this region, we'll definitely stay at Dunbheag Cottage in Strone!

Better to stay in summer time, muddy and windy in winter. We had power cut when we arrived at the cottage. The owners didn't let us know about it until we checked in and find out there is not electricity and heating, we called the owners to ask how to turn the power on and they said there is a power cut on site. So we were without electricity and heating on a 22/12/2024. We did survive the first night how some with 2 kids and a dog, but the next morning there were still not power back. We had a lovely 6 night stay at Cockleshell Lodge. The location and view are amazing for walks with the dogs and it's just steps from the beach. Pub within walking distance had really good food. Be aware that the nearest shop is quite a drive down a single track road, so it's worth bringing some provisions with you. The lodge was well equipped with cooking utensils, comfy beds and plenty of towels. TV reception is weak but the internet was absolutely fine. Lovely 100+ year old stone cottage, nicely fitted out with everything you could possibly need, Clean & tidy and in a good location for visiting the various islands. Val the host was very helpful in providing information on where to go and what to see etc. Would we go again, most certainly yes.
The setting could not be bettered for a quiet and beautiful getaway. The kitchen is well equipped. The log supply was very generous as due to the weather we used on a few evenings. A few things require attention. An unseen Split in a Perspex dining chair caused an injury while in use. We left a note so that this could be picked up quickly. Sliding patio doors in sitting room almost need two people to operate as very heavy and hard to slide. The en suite sink in main bedroom requires a plug. We had an absolutely delightful and relaxing stay in Musselshell Lodge. The location is everything. The scenery is jawdropping. We stayed local and took the dog for lots of walks down at the lochshore and around the estate grounds. The lodge was well appointed; however a small number of fairly important fixtures are in need of repair/ replacement. Don't let that put you off- we're already planning to return in Easter.

I stayed at Culzean House with my family (8 adults, 4 children and 2 dogs). The rooms were great; clean and comfortable. The location worked well for us. Some nearby, nice places such as Ardentinny beach and Lock Eck. We were also a short drive away from some nice cafes. We weren’t so lucky with the weather but we still had a great time and got some use out of the hot tub. I would love to stay here again, Chris.

We found Alder Cottage situated in a very scenic spot, however our first impressions of the cleanliness was very disappointing. On arrival we entered the cottage and as the light was fading I turned on both floor lamps either side of the fireplace., unfortunately they both were full of cobwebs and dust, the lights on the wall above the fire were also full of cobwebs. The 2 sofas in the living room obviously had not been hoovered as there were a load of crumbs and food under the cushions. When we arrived at larch cottage, we put our luggage in the downstairs bedroom. We then went in to the living room to sit down, when I got up the back of my clothes were covered in white dog hair. On closer inspection there was dog hair on the coffee table and floor. After we had a look around the cottage to find black dog hair on the downstairs bed. After moving our luggage upstairs I went for a shower to find that the temperature would not change from hot as the lever was broken. The cabin has a lovely view towards The Holy Loch however it is partly obstructed by the fantastic trees. The property is a good distance from its neighbours so there isn't a problem with being overlooked. Inside the property has a comfortable lounge that leads on to the raised deck; a well equipped kitchen, although the dishwasher had a handwritten sign saying it isn't working with no indication when it will be fixed. The customer service we received has been amazing. The property was fantastic and the lads were definitely comfortable.
I am sorry to have to say the following. The decor of the cottage is very dated and worn. For example: the upholstery of the chairs of the dining room chairs is broken, the control knobs of the heaters are broken, window of the upstairs bedroom cannot be closed, the bath towels and kitchen linen are a little worn out. But there was a surprising welcome package with fresh eggs and delicacies.
We had a wonderful time at the Boat House, cosy with the fireplace, beautiful view (even otters came along) and quiet. We got flowers and herbs from Richard from the garden and also tried some vegetables. :-) Just to be helpfull the following: Some things can be a bit better. The wood for the stove should be a little smaller fore the Boat House or an ax would be helpfull. The kitchen is a bit outdated but still functional. The outside of the house could use a little paint. The windows need to be cleaned at the inside to have an even better view ;-).
