A lovey cottage which is very dog friendly with throws and towels supplied. Our dog is not usually allowed off a lead so loved being able to run around in the secure dog friendly field on site. It was very useful having a laundry on site with extra freezer space. The cottage is in an excellent location with some lovely pubs within easy driving distance serving great food. Not too far away from the coast and the nearby caves at Cheddar. The owners were friendly and accommodating. I would fully recommend Home Farm for a lovely peaceful rural break.
We very much enjoyed our week in August, 3 in party, plus two dogs, and The Granary provided a very comfortable base to see the Somerset countryside. The cottage is very well equipped, especially in the kitchen. The WIFI is excellent, which is increasingly important in rural areas. The beds, sofas etc were all clean and comfortable. The little touches for the dogs were very special.. The only small annoyance was not having a toilet on the 1st floor. This wasn't the end of the world, but I couldn't see why the cottage had used the space for an additional shower and not a toilet! Location wa...more
Lovely little cottage with everything you need provided eg: milk, tea/coffee, cleaning products, towels etc. Well equipped and spotlessly clean. Very dog friendly. Thank you…we loved it and will be back
