It’s hard to put into words just how perfect this place is. From the immaculate cleanliness and beautiful décor to the friendly service, stunning surroundings, complete peacefulness and sheer luxury — everything about it is exceptional. Another return visit to Elgar. We received a lovely welcome on arrival, we really value the peace, tranquility, the warmth (literally this time, as a heatwave) and the friendship of Nicky, George, Breeze and the whole team. It just feels a home from home.
Grosvenor cottage is a lovely place for a break. Grosvenor is one of three cottages, part of a beautiful Georgian house set in lovely gardens and thirteen acres of parkland which you have access to. The cottage is very well appointed, warm and relaxing and so quiet. Everything very clean and tidy and all kitchen utensils provided to make meals. The bedroom is lovely and the bed was so comfortable. The cottage is very tastefully decorated and had every facility to make for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
