This is the second time I’ve stayed, different lodge but just as good! Buntings is lovely, quiet, private and relaxing. The hosts are amazing and will do everything they can to assist you in enjoying your stay. Stayed with 2 dogs and they were also comfortable. Thanks so much, I’m sure we’ll be back again!! Had a beautiful relaxing weekend away for a family get together. Love the location and the lodges we stayed in were clean and welcoming. Husband and grandad spent the days fishing while myself and daughters enjoyed wine in the hottub and just chilling. Lots of birds to watch and a particularly energetic pheasant that kept running past the patio doors. It really was a stress free, peaceful weekend which was just what we all needed. Cannot wait until next year.
We stayed at Mill Meadow for our wedding nearly 12 years ago and it was really lovey to return for my Mum's 70th in March. The lodges are great - clean, spacious and in very peaceful surroundings. Everything on the site is very well maintained. While we were there the daffodils looks wonderful and we ver much enjoyed sitting in the hot tub, listening to the birds at the end of the day. The lodges are well equipped and ours had a handy utility room for drying laundry or wet boots too. From the confirmation of booking through to waving goodbye, we were made to feel welcome and valued. Suzanne and Chris are the most amazing hosts, the lodge is very well equipped and the daffodils on the entrance porch was a lovely touch. The lodge could be a little over looked from the road (a very quiet road) and by the neighbouring lodge. The lodge and outside area was very clean with the exception of cobwebs in the main room, bathroom and kitchen, nothing off putting though. A lovely stay in a lovely area, we would absolutely return and recommend to family and friends.
A home from home stay at Kingfisher. Lovely lodge in a beautiful location with owls in the evening and ducks saying hello in the morning. Arrived at the lodge to a warm welcome from Chris and Suzanne and a welcome pack with Chris’s homemade flapjacks plus Somerset apple juice and everything to get through the first evening without rushing out for supplies. Lodge is very comfortable and cosy with everything needed for a stay. I stayed a month and thoroughly enjoyed the lodge and the safety and security the gated site offers. Amazing place and service would recommend for sure especially if you like walking on the Quantocks .
Another great stay in Flycatcher Lodge. The site was full of daffodils welcoming in Spring. Joe had also been very busy trimming all the hedgerows across the whole site making the place look immaculate. Looking forward to our next stay in a months time.
We have had an amazing holiday at Mill Meadow with family and friends. We stayed at Robins which is one of the bigger lodges that will sleep up to 10 people so ideal for larger groups. Suzanne and Chris are so welcoming from the minute you arrive and we thoroughly enjoyed Chris’s home-made flapjacks. There were lots of little touches from the fresh flowers to the apple juice which makes it very special!
