Members of our wedding party stayed at Buntings Lodge. It was just right for their stay - comfortable and clean with modern furnishings. It was well equipped throughout and really exceeded expectations. There were flowers and delicious flapjacks for their arrival. The setting was lovely with the lake on site and countryside around. Communication before and during the stay was excellent. Many thanks to Suzanne and Chris.
This is the second time we've visited this establishment, and once again, it was outstanding. Suzanne and Chris are the perfect host.
My family and I took my mother, who is on palliative care away for a few days. We had such a lovely time, mum was comfortable and relaxed. We had everything we needed and more. Suzanne was so attentive and went above and beyond to ensure our comfort and mums needs were met. Highly recommend and would love to visit again.
We had a lovely week at Mill Meadow in September. GoldCrest was small which we knew but had everything we needed including a BBQ and Hot Tub which we made full use of. Tony also enjoyed the fishing, catching a good mix of quality fish. We also made the most of our National trust membership visiting several places, as well as the Fleet Air Arm Museum. The hosts were great and so helpful from beginning to end.
We loved our stay at Kingfisher Lodge which was for/ birthday celebration. The customer service was wonderful; Suzanne decorated the lodge for the celebration and provided a welcome pack with prosecco, homemade flapjacks and treats for our dog. The lake and fishing was fabulous and there were lovely local dog walks. The lodge was spotless and welcoming. We also thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub. Thank you Chris and Suzanne
I can write a book about our stay, but a short note like this I think sometimes it can say more than it meets the eye Our 2nd breaks this summer was fantastic. The house, the place, the fishing, the silence, and the staff everything was perfect. We had a decent rest, and looking forward for our next visit. Arriving back home we were rather upset because of the noise and the smells. We will return there especially for the hot tub what it does to your body is magic in just 15 minutes. This was an our second time visiting Mill Meadow, but our first time staying in Flycatcher and it did not disappoint. Chris and Suzanne had the warmest welcome for us and our family, and nothing was too much trouble. The setting is absolutely idyllic, whether it be as a nice relaxing dip in the hot tub, a gentle stroll into the village or a couple of hours of quiet fishing, there was something there for us all. We had an amazing stay in Robins Lodge. Everything thing was spotless and the kitchen had everything that we needed. Chris and the team were so welcoming and nothing was too much trouble for them.
