Lovely cabin set in a copse of trees good parking - for ease of access Peaceful and tranquil - ideal for chilled out week -just relaxing and watching the world go be. Large patio door that opens up to the woodland squirrels, rabbits and even a deer one night. Brill week and look to rebook at sometime
Short Mon-Fri stay at Robin Lodge which was spotlessly clean and comfortable in a beautiful woodland setting. Views were lovely from all widows, woodland from bedroom & patio and a field with cows from kitchen Although the site has several beautiful stone cottages and 2 other woodland lodges we didn’t see another person until leaving and putting out the bins! The site was beautifully peaceful and a perfect base for what we had planned in the area. Contact from Ribble Valley Holiday Homes was great from booking until leaving with confirmation emails, payment receipts and plenty of inform...more
We have just returned from a lovely week in Bailey Cottage, Ribble Valley Holiday Homes! The cottage has everything you need, clean, spacious and the views and hottub are fantastic! We also spent an afternoon at Hidden Oaks on site - wow this place is 10/10! The location is great for days out too. John the owner and all the staff are very helpful and friendly. We will certainly be returning.
This was our 2nd time for a long weekend with friends, great house, well equipped, everything you could possibly need. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend, we have booked again for next year.
The cottage was very well equipped. The hot tub and outdoor area was great, you can even sit it when raining as it is covered. It was a great base for visiting family and we will definitely stay again.
This was our sixth stay at Ribble Valley Holiday Homes. Lovely at all times of the year. We had a relaxing quiet week in Sherburne Cottage. Spacious and very comfortable. We enjoyed visiting the on site spa and the excellent pubs nearby, particularly The Aspinall Arms in the pretty village of Mitton. Great walks right across The Trough of Bowland. Perfect.
We had a lovely time together as a group, but unfortunately the stay itself was overshadowed by the owner’s behaviour. When we arrived, there was no hot water. He came round and fixed it straight away but blamed us for the problem, and later the shower was scalding hot and unusable. We were told off for making noise at just 8pm, and when the hot tub was suddenly turned off with only a note saying “do not use,” no explanation was given until we asked. Even then, it was simply said it “could make us ill,” with no willingness to communicate further. It felt like there was no reasoning with him...more
Overall lovely place to stay. Lovely walks down into small village and to the River Ribble. If walkings your game this is a good place to explore from.
This is our go-to place for accommodation in East Lancashire.I have only one or two small quibbles; there needs to be more information and instruction about the use of the various appliances (we were disappointed that we weren't able to use the TV streaming system) and the shower rooms need some strategically-placed towel rails (preferably heated).
This is my fourth time staying in Duddle Cottage. I look forward to returning every time because it's a little piece of paradise. It's so peaceful and tranquil and really helps me to recharge my batteries. Myself and friends are all returners to the property it ticks all of the boxes for everyone. The only disappointment is that the two king size beds are not zip and link. It would be so much easier and less awkward if the girls didn't have to share!
Loved our time here in Kingfisher Lodge. Beautiful location, well equipped and very comfortable bed. Staff were very friendly and helpful too. Enjoyed our time in the pool. Will look to book again. Thank you for an amazing time
Some two of is a very well appointed house, ideal for large groups wishing to spend quality time together. The house is extremely well appointed and has a vast amount of facilities to keep you busy during your stay. The living room and kitchen are both really big and are ideal for all the family eating and relaxing together. All bedrooms are of an excellent size and there are en suite facilities in all bedrooms. The hot tub is serviced every day the owners are easily contacted if there are any issues, which really they weren’t. The only negative thing I would highlight about the accommodation ...more
Loved everything about this cottage; bssement floor was super exciting, as was the tennis court; bedrooms were spacious and comfortable, especially the two with balconies and walk-in wardrobes; top floor was amazing for the kids - more than they could dream of in fact; all amenities were available in the kitchen; garden was really relaxing - the hot tub being the obvious outstanding feature but we also made use of the wood burner at night which provided a tranquil, almost spiritual ambience. Being petty, there's not much space behind the baseline at one end of the tennis court and we didn't li...more
