Julia and Godfrey were most welcoming. The accommodation continues to be excellent with a few subtle additions since our previous visit including a hot tub. Boskenna provides a wealth of facilities in excellent condition. The surrounding countryside and walks enhance the property. The Minack theatre is a short drive or stout walk away and there is a very good farm shop at St. Buryan. The inquisitive can catch a flight to the Scilly isles for the day and still fit in the best pastie at McFaddens butchers in St. Just. In conclusion, we were most satisfied with our stay.
A lovely, well thought out, comfortable and well equipped Shepherds Hut in the Cornish country side. The owners were delightfully helpful from begining of booking to departure. A lovely cream tea on arrival and an ice bucket with a bottle of prosecco to celebrate husband's 70th birthday! The kitchen was very well equipped and the bathroom had a lovely big shower. The bed was comfortable and clothes storage well thought out. There was a hot tub just outside in a private well tucked away corner. It is on a working farm so there is some tractor and animal noises. We would recommend a...more
