Forsythia House came up first in our search for a 3 night break at short notice and proved an excellent choice. Overstrand is a lovely village and a good location for lots of places to visit within a few miles plus a useful village shop & excellent pub a few minutes walk away. Forsythia is beautifully & elegantly decorated so is calm and relaxing. [Photo here needs updating!] Comfortable beds & sofas, good storage in bedrooms, 2 nice bathrooms (though 1 downstairs might not work for a full week, though it's good for cleaning off the sand as it's by the back door.) Nice clean cottage ,( neighbours a bit close ) , but everyone friendly, everything you need inside . Nice walks / pub,hotel , club , park and cafe nearby . Beach near ( not too crowded ) , buses to Cromer near cottage to explore out and about .
This property is wonderful. In a perfect location with a lovely sunny courtyard. Quality fittings, very clean and had all essentials. Bed linen excellent and nice comfy bed too. Bus stop right outside. Great transport service. We didn't need to use our car during our stay. Tracey very approachable and helpful. We had a great stay and would definitely return especially if the lovely hot weather could be included in the price!! All in all perfection
We had a wonderful, peaceful time, in this lovely cottage, and will definitely be returning. We are hoping to enjoy the lovely garden, when the weather has perked up!
Our 2nd time at Rectory Cottage and another wonderful stay. We love this place. It’s comfort, location and the village are perfect for a quiet beach get away. Couldn’t really ask for more
We enjoyed a lovely 4 nights at 1, Swallow Cottage. The cottage was beautifully clean, cosy and comfortable. The kitchen was well equipped to cook breakfast or evening meal. There are some nice eateries within a short drive and some fantastic places to walk the dog before returning for a relaxing time in front of the log burner. We will definitely be back!
