Located in a small, quiet close with no through traffic, 1 The Gee Gee is only 70 metres from the beach and only a 10 minute walk to East Wittering village centre.

The property has two bedrooms, a shower room, a separate sitting room and sunny conservatory off the kitchen. The garden is lawned and has a neat patio with furniture for al fresco dining and relaxing.

The accommodation is simply furnished and all in all is excellent value.

No Pets, sorry!

The bungalow has been well used and not looked after by previous people with hidden breakage like the bathroom shelf. Baileys were excellent with the various issues the garden was a mess and the cleaning well it needed a deep clean and a bottle of disinfect which it got from us. It's in a lovely situation but beware dont park on the verge the home owners will come and sort you out, even though the main drain surround was broken which is why we used the verge

Sadly, guests do not always let us know about accidents and breakages etc. therefore leaving it until the next guests check in to find these hidden issues. We are addressing the gardening situation and can only apologies for the state you found the garden in. We have also taken your comments on board and have spoken with the cleaning team. We do ask all our guests to contact us immediately if there are any issues on check in, we do try to resolve any problems straight away. As for the parking situation, the homeowners around there are very precious about the verges, they do like to keep a tidy road, hence, all the properties do have off road parking. Once again, thank you for your feedback and we do hope to see you again next year. Baileys.

The bungalow is in a lovely position 57 steps to the beach, the bungalow would be perfect for fisherman, water sports and walking. It's basic but it's OK. We had help from baileys with one or two things needed sorting, I recommend baileys all the staff are efficient thanks

I love this little two bedroom bungalow, it's well kept back garden is an ideal sun trap if a day out to the beach is not for you. Garden bench and sun brolly, folding bed and wooden chairs are provided along with a clothes line.
Nice conservatory/ dining area with large table and chairs and sofa are provided. We didn't really use the cooking facilities but it's all available.
Small lounge with WiFi and TV is nice to relax in and is comfortable.
Small bedroom with a double bed and plenty of storage is all that is required, we used the other bedroom as a dressing room.
Within a two minute walk your on the beach and five minutes your in the village with it's shops, pubs and restaurants... Absolutely perfect. That's why we have been coming back to East Wittering every year.

We thoroughly enjoyed our short break at this property. Being situated a mere 2 minutes from the beach was ideal for us, and we preferred being at a distance from the traffic in the village centre. The accommodation is basic, but adequate.

1 Gee Gee is a two bed bungalow literally 3mins to the sea front and a 10min walk to the local shops and restaurants. It has it's own little sun trap garden with washing line and garden furniture, a conservatory with table and chairs can be used as a dining room if the weather gets threatening. Plenty of storage space and nicely appointed kitchen makes holidaying perfect. Looking forward to coming back next year.

bungalow was in perfect position,garden requires tidying,washing line was u/s.

I'll start by saying that the location of this property is perfect. Just a short walk to the beach and you can hear the sea from the back garden, which is wonderful. There's a generous amount of parking (essential in Wittering) and it's dog friendly.

However, the level of cleaning was disappointing - I understand that the restrictions imposed by Covid-19 mean that it is more of a challenge to maintain properties at the usual standard, however it's in serious need of a deep clean. I've already fed this back to Baileys so hopefully action will be taken.

The decor and furniture are okay but a little dated, but then we didn't go for that.

I would definitely stay here again, but now I know more about the property I would go prepared - it's been a chilly May and the heating's not that great so we should've taken more jumpers!

Overall we really enjoyed our stay. We would stay in this property again and probably recommend it to friends and family - but it does need some tlc

We arrived to the heady scent of bleach so there was no question the place was sterilised and covid-free. Great little cottage located stones throw from beach and 5 mins to local shops and cafes. Had all the basics for family of four. Excellent off street parking. Enjoyed some of the reading material on offer.
Could do with some better/more crockery, cutlery and kitchen knives, (but we tend to prepare food and eat more at home than is perhaps normal for most holiday makers and just forgot our own knives this time).
Also grill and oven trays hadn’t been cleaned before our arrival.

Day 1 could not get out of conservatory door. A man came to fix it and said it was the wrong door ,fitted the lock upside down to get it to work. Day2 storage heaters not working, someone came to fix. The next day still not working,electrician came to fix, still not working,so Baileys gave us a convector heater. After a few days the hot water ran out so we could not have a shower. A plumber came and said it was an airlock . He also said it would happen again as the tank was to small. He was right it did happen again,so another couple of days with no hot water. Three lamps not working. There are wires trailing across the floor everywhere as there are not enough sockets . All in all not a good 2 weeks.

Good, comfortable accommodation. Somewhat distant from the village, nearer to Bracklesham than East Wittering.

This is not the fault of the owners or Baileys but the shortest way into the village is almost impassable for disability scooters due to speed humps and potholes, resulting in having to detour via more suitable roads.
