We stayed in the Shepherd's Hut - the accommodation is comfortable, furnished to a very high standard and full of thoughtful finishing touches. There's a rooflight above the bed for stargazing, a view of the Irish Sea from the bed, and we woke up to find lambs playing around the front steps! We didn't stay for long but the climb up to Llyn Cau (a pretty lake near the summit of Caer Idris) is well worth the effort.

As soon as I saw the Shepherd’s Hut online I knew that is where I wanted to stay for my trip away. The beautiful location overlooking the neighbouring field and the sea made it the perfect location to relax and soak up the autumn sun. Everything about the Hut was perfect, it had everything I needed for my time away. I met Emma the housekeeper who was on hand if I needed anything. The heated swimming pool was a lovely extra after long days walking when it was raining. Spending the evenings reading and painting in front of the fire watching the change in weathers was my favourite part. I will definitely be back again. Thank you for such a wonderful mini break.

Booked as a surprise for my wife’s birthday, absolutely loved it, the views were incredible with plenty of grounds to explore, walks to the beach. The hut was very cosy with everything we needed, would definitely recommend and be visiting again, thanks again

From the first moment I saw the shepherds hut sat on the little hill overlooking the coast, I just knew that we would love our stay, and that certainly proved to be the case! Everything was perfect, from the immaculate condition and clever design of the hut, to the beautiful setting and views which inspired my husband to get out his oils and immediately start painting the landscape! To wake up on a morning only to be greeted by the sight and sound of the sheep and cattle in the neighbouring fields was just magical. The hut had everything we could possibly need and the attention to detail exemplary. The icing on the cake has to be the beautiful heated indoor swimming pool which we managed to use a couple of times during our long weekend and had all to ourselves although it’s of course open to all guests staying on the estate. I would definitely recommend any of the accommodation but will always remember’our’ little hut with huge fondness.

We stayed for 5 days/4 nights in the Shepherds Hut and it was glorious! We were met by Emma the Housekeeper who was very welcoming and explained a few essential details such as how to get the bed down :) The location is beautiful and serene, surrounded by wildlife. The indoor pool was a god send after a hike up Snowden and Idris!! Lisa the owner was also prompt in responding to whataspp queries, which was really helpful. We will definitely be back!!
