We have stayed here many times since our children were very small. The location and setting of the lodges is simply idyllic. Many fabulous walks with wonderful views. Ben and Lydia are great and there if and when you need them. We immediately feel relaxed as soon as we arrive. We’ve stayed in all 4 lodges over the years and they’re all gorgeous, well equipped clean and comfortable. The woodland setting with the river running at the bottom is spectacular. Heatheryhaugh is our little peace of heaven and we will continue to return.
We had a lovely stay here. The lodge is very well equipped with everything we could ever need on our visit. It has beautiful gardens and is very peaceful. It is a bit of a nice walk into Moffat. We loved it and had the best time relaxing in this comfortable, loved lodge.
This was the first time we had actually stayed in Moffat and not just passed through. The location was perfect. Accommodation was very comfortable, warm and cosy and well equiped. Lydia has been very kind and welcoming. We didn't realise there was so much to explore. Hoping to return and stop longer next time, Also, ideal for the dogs, they were quite at home.
