Another fantastic summer stay at Town Farm. Our fourth year back and we'll be booking again shortly.
We enjoyed a four and a half month stay at The Mill whilst having work done to our home. The Mill is a surprisingly spacious 3 bed set up with all the facilities we needed having packed all our bits away. The cottage was clean on arrival with fresh linen provided fortnightly. The staff were always on hand and extremely welcoming and helpful. The location is incredible with views over Ivinghoe Beacon. Our dog had a very happy stay! The campsite gets busy over the summer holidays but that means you benefit from the catering trucks that turn up on Friday and Saturday nights. We thoroughly enjoyed...more
This was our second stay at Town Farm Cottages and it was as good as our first. Barnyard Cottage is very well appointed and was beautifully clean. We had a few really chilly days even though it was June and we were pleased to be so cosy there. On the better days we were were able to explore the many nearby footpaths and the grandchildren had a great time walking to The Beacon or playing in the playgrounds and play barn. Once again our booking experience was easy, our welcome warm and we are very much hoping to return again in the autumn.
We stayed in The Barn during August. It is a small but characterful and cozy cottage with views of Ivinghoe beacon. Town farm is a well run campsite and cottage resort in a beautiful location. The owners are very friendly and helpful. In the summer there are various food vendors attending over the weekends including fish and chips and a wood fired pizza van. We would definitely recommend.
Ridgeway cottage is a spacious and well appointed holiday destination. Town Farm is set amongst the beautiful countryside near Ivinghoe beacon. We took some great walks to the beacon and Ivinghoe village (about 15 mins) with a great pub and cafe. Would definitely visit again.
Lovely spot to stay Barley End is a warm and comfortable place to .Well fitted kitchen with microwave,dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer.The Barn is spacious and welcoming .
Groom's cottage has everything you would want in a holiday property - it is very clean, spacious and comfortable and is beautifully fitted out. Everything you could need is there and in excellent order. Our grandchildren joined us for a couple of nights and once again absolutely loved it. We have stayed at Town Farm before and it is one of their favourite places. All the staff are genuinely friendly and helpful and we hope to return next year.

An excellent property, ideally placed for walking the Chiltern Hills. It was spotlessly clean upon arrival and gas everything we needed for a fantastic week.

Very spacious well equipped property with good additional outside facilities for children. Situated in an excellent location for walks and Whipsnade Zoo. Local villages and towns are interesting with some good walks and local pubs. Hosts are helpful and efficient. Our only minor criticism is the comfort of the beds and the time it takes for hot water to come through the taps.
Very comfortable beds, peace and quiet, walking on your doorstep, well equipped cottages with great countryside views. Highly recommend.
A great place to stay and perfect for us during our house renovation. Well equipped, organised and designed, we have really enjoyed our time here, as have our pets! The setting is stunning and we’ve enjoyed incredible sunsets. Highly recommended.
This was the third property we stayed in during our 3 month stint at Town Farm. The team managed to accommodate us for a longer period when our house purchase was delayed. It seemed daunting that we would need to stay in short term rental accommodation when our initial house purchase fell through, but thanks to Town Farm it was actually a special time that we will remember. The staff are SO friendly and helpful, and the location beautiful. Thank you so much to everyone!!
We moved to The Dairy whilst our house was being renovated. As soon as we walked through the door it felt like home. It had such a warm, cosy feel and everything we needed was catered for. The Town Farm family are so friendly and accommodating, nothing is too much trouble. We were very stressed when we arrived, we had a poorly dog and renovations on our house had been delayed. They were so kind and arranged for us to extend our stay. The Dairy is a lovely barn and the situation is beautiful. We really enjoyed walking in the countryside and the local pub is great. Needed a bolt hole for a couple of weeks while our bathroom was being refitted. Town Farm was convenient, well organised and suited very well.
