We absolutely loved our stay in Yurt Ruthie. So much so, that within a couple of hours of arriving, we enquired to see if we could extend our stay. Everything is well thought out, and so much to see and do on site that you don't really need to leave! Loved all of the little touches including the fresh herbs out the front of the yurt etc. We can't wait to return!
Lovely place for a holiday break away. The yurts are very comfortable and in a very nice setting. The tennis court and games room are a very nice bonus too. Would recommend this place.
We stayed at The Garlic Farms over Easter 2025 as a group of 9 ages ranging from 4-64 and 2 dogs. We all had an absolutely amazing time. Little Mersley Farmhouse was beautiful inside and out and the perfect choice! And the extended grounds with park/games room/football pitch gave us lots of evening fun when we returned from our days out. This is all round the best accommodation and location for a family break and Melanie and team couldn’t have been more helpful! We are already booked to come back in October to try out the Yurts as a smaller family and are hoping to book for the whole family ...more
I love on the Isle of Wight and booked this as a little staycation. The Yurt had everything I needed, clean, comfy and most importantly very relaxing! I would highly recommend this to everyone! I look forward to coming back
We had a fantastic stay at The Garlic Farm Glamping! The whole site is incredibly well set up — from the large communal area with a fully equipped kitchen, BBQ, and pizza oven, to the cosy glamping tents that made us feel right at home. The tents were spotless, comfortable, and full of thoughtful touches. We were greeted with fresh milk and, of course, some of their delicious garlic! We had a very nice stay ,in the farmhouse cottage surrounding. Country side beautiful,an excellent base to stay for viewing the rest of the island,highly recommend ,would stay again,
Communication was fantastic. We were especially grateful for the discounted ferry booking and the last-minute re-booking when our return ferry was delayed. Paddock Cottage is perfect for a couple: small and cosy with a super-comfortable bed and everything needed for cooking simple meals. Little private garden is great for breakfast. The cottage also surprisingly quiet, given that it's so close to the restaurant (which we love), shop (where we were inspired to start our Christmas shopping in August!) and café. As always our pre Autumn break was home from home. But could have done with a non stick frying pan!!
Came back for a second time and wasn’t disappointed. Great location for exploring the island. Yurt was perfect for the family we had great fun doing some experiences on the garlic farm and making the most of the other facilities such as tennis and the games room. Staff very friendly and attentive especially when we ran out of the gas - was all fixed in 30minutes. Food was lovely, boys loved the evening the magician came! We were sad to come home.
We had a lovely stay at Kiln Cottage with our dog. It was very peaceful and comfortable. Whilst we were there we had lunch at the onsite restaurant which was really lovely. The only thing we would say was the kitchen could be better equipped with a couple more non stick cooking pans / mixing bowls. Also, we mainly used the shower downstairs as the baths were not very practical. Other than that, it was very comfortable.
Our recent week at 'The Milking Parlour' on The Garlic Farm was simply fantastic, exceeding all our expectations. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and delightful. The booking process itself was incredibly efficient and straightforward, making the initial arrangements stress-free. The pre-booking communication was equally impressive, keeping us well-informed and excited for our trip. The cottage was spacious and nicely decorated. It was in a good location to be able to explore surrounding areas. The garlic farm is lovely and the food there was really good! The only thing was that the cleaning wasn’t amazing. There was quite a few big cobwebs and dead wasps and could do with a dust in a few areas.
