What a wonderful place! Booked for the week as a birthday break as had wanted to visit for many years. The yurt was very well equipped, comfortable and warm. The weather was very wet but we were cosy and didn't really mind as the rest was needed. It was lovely to wake up with the birds, red squirrels and rabbits and feel part of nature. We had plenty of privacy to enjoy the hot tub each evening as not overlooked by other yurts. We ate at the restaurant several times and each time was delicious. This cottage was excellent for us. We visited for a weekend with three generations of our family, 6 people in total. The youngest has the rooms on the tops floor, the eldest had the lovely bedroom on the ground floor, so no stairs. The kitchen is well equipped with everything you could want. The lounge is cosy and comfortable. The dining room has two tables so we used one to eat at and the other for playing games. We didn’t use the garden as we visited in February but it was a good size. Once again, perfect for a weeks stay whilst working locally at the neighboring glasshouses. Spotless and very comfortable, with excellent communication. Can recommend highly.
Gorgeous setting. Lovely to wake up to see the peacocks and rabbits and go for nice walks. Perfect for a family or group get away. Breakfast at the garlic fine is lovely too. Only down side, the road behind is very noisy. Hosts didn’t come back to my messages especially when we struggled to lock the door.
Fantastic stay on The Garlic Farm in a yurt with hot tub. Despite it being early November, wet and windy, we were warm comfortable and dry. Would recommend.
I recently hired the Garlic Farm accommodation for my 40th birthday celebration. The Accommodation team were brilliant at helping us put on an amazing event and catering to our guest’s individual needs. Friends and family members having been raving about the experience in the weeks afterwards. The site is stunning, there are plenty of activities for children and adults and the accommodation is very well maintained. The communal yurt proved to be a real hub of fun and activity throughout our weekend. We will not hesitate to book again.
Mill Cottage is lovely. Absolutely perfect for a short stay on the Isle of Wight and great for families with children. Ours particularly liked meeting the peacocks and goats!
From start to finish, the Garlic Farm is absolutely fantastic. I will be recommending this to all my friends and family!! The paddock cottage was absolutely spotless, and so nice and all the furnishings are great. The only little thing I’d say, is please provide hand soap, other than that it’s 10/10. Thank you!
Our family of four including two children under 10 had an awesome long weekend in one of the yurts. It was beautifully presented and well-equipped for cooking, relaxing and being in nature. We enjoyed the indoor toilet and spacious shower, that was a really welcome treat and not at all like camping! We loved seeing the red squirrels and bunnies hopping about in the field. The games room was also awesome (Erika, age 7 and Ronson, age 9).
Wonderful property, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Very good on site facilities and an easy drive to main IoW attractions. Customer service excellent. Highly recommended.
The accommodation was a great fit to our needs, was clean, easy to check-in and check out. There were a few Garlic Farm products on the dining table for us and some milk and basic bits to get going. The location was great and we had a great base. The Games Room was good and my 5 yr old loved it, there was less to entertain my 2 yr old and the playground could do with a slide and traditional type swing. We didn't get to meet our hosts - it would be lovely if they could pop by and say hi, although I do understand the benefit of being self-sufficient and enjoying family time just together. It's lovely to stay at the Garlic Farm, all the buildings around the cottage are lovely to look at, and the peacocks add to the atmosphere. It's great to have a small garden to enjoy. The cottage is small but comfortable - the duvets could be a little thicker, but blankets are provided. The kitchen is functional with all you need. It's quiet and peaceful and a great base in the centre of the island. Handy to have the shop and restaurant so close, too.
