Aylsham Windmill, Norfolk NRll 6NB. Unusual accommodation in the ancient market town of Aylsham. Perfectly placed, halfway between the fine city of Norwich and the coast at Cromer.
Built in 1826 Aylsham Windmill was a working flour mill for almost 100 years. It was unused for more than 80 years, and has now been converted into luxurious self catering accommodation for 6 people. The accommodation is on 4 floors linked by normal domestic stairs. Aylsham is ideally placed in the centre of North Norfolk. Explore the coast, the Broads and the city of Norwich.
Have revisited this fabulous venue 8 times consecutively now and love it. This time 1-8 December 4 girlfriends (two celebrating birthdays on 2 and 5 December) went to chill, chat, de-stress (and have a bevvie or two to celebrate landmark birthdays.) Hosts (Janet and Tim) are superb and leave their guests wanting for absolutely nothing. Beautifully clean, well thought out, kitted out fantastically and to a really high standard. This beautiful venue is complemented by its lovely location in the little Town of Aylsham - within walking distance of the Mill and full of wonderful little shops etc....more
