What a beautiful bungalow. Very cozy and well equipped. Amazing views. Would definitely stay again. Lovely beaches and walks nearby.
A lovely warm cottage, a real home from home. Everything we needed for a short break. Quiet location with walks from the door.
We both enjoyed our stay we found the Bothy very clean and very comfortable after a two and half hour drive we found the place very easily using google maps. The weather wasn’t kind but made the most of it visiting the small market towns ,Saturday was the best day and a short drive to Carrick beech also there’s a circular walk to the temple in the woods with great views Definitely would come back
I am so happy I came across Chauchan holiday cottages, situated in a truly stunning area on a beautiful farm, Delilah and Bertie the goats, are a real delight to stay hello to on a morning. The barn is very inviting & comfortable inside, everything was clean and in good order. The beds are very comfy, especially after a day exploring what dumfries has to hold, and the views from the lovely big windows, well you just cannot beat them. The hot tub has to be the cherry on the top of a truly fantastic get away, would highly recommend staying. Thank you so much for a wonderful get away.
Very practical, comfortable and well equipped cottage. Easy to find with great views. Secure bike parking - big thumbs up as on Route 7. Located on Route 7 and near several of the 7 Stanes
Lovely little 2 bedroom cottage in converted farm buildings near Gatehouse of Fleet. Dog friendly too and with lots of walks, along a much more rugged and interesting coastline than we expected, and not too long a walk into Gatehouse of Fleet for pubs and cafes and a well stocked Spar. The owners were helpful and always on hand, as were the pet pigs and goats which our Border Terrier loved to watch! We will be back!
