The cottage is lovely, well equipped and welcoming. Open fire is a treat. We had a nice welcome pack and found everything you could need to make our stay comfortable and homely. The weather was a bit wet so we didn’t use the garden but on venturing out to take a look it is large and well looked after with a nice seating area by the dining area door. The village is great,has a lovely church just opposite and not built up with lots of new houses as many villages are now. Archway cottage is well located in the Cotswolds village of Blockley. The cottage is decorated beautifully with amazing attention to detail. Highlights for us were the well-equipped kitchen, good sized TV's and comfortable furniture including outside seating. There was gorgeous bedding and two roaring fires. Blockley is a perfect village with pubs and the local community shop and cafe were well worth a visit. Parking was never a problem and we found extensive walks around the village.
We had the most wonderful weekend away with friends, staying at The Butcher's Flat in Chipping Campden! Fabulous place in a perfect location for exploring the Cotswolds. Cottage was super clean and had everything you could possibly need, comfortable, warm and cosy. Beautiful elevated garden which must be a joy in spring and summer months. Parking was easy with the owners clear instructions. I have stayed at many rental properties worldwide, and the Elm Farm Annex is among the very best. The location was perfect for our desire to truly experience the English countryside. There is an easy walk to the village and a great local pub. The Annex itself is very spacious and provided a great place for our family of 4 to connect and spend time together. We especially appreciated the two full bathrooms and the living space with a wonderful wood burning stove. The hosts went above and beyond to make sure our stay was enjoyable and we felt very welcome.
Lovely property in a stunning location. The owners were on hand to answer any questions we had and made our weekend letting us come and help feed Barry the sheep and his friends!! This is our second stay at Buttercup Cottage. The cottage is really well located in a side street in Tetbury close to the church so you wake up to church Bells which is such a pleasure. Clean, comfortable and cosy with a lovely cottage garden - I highly recommend.
This cottage was a perfect place to stay for a few nights, we brought our dog along as well which the garden was perfect for - all enclosed and safe. The property is a little creaky upstairs but that's just character of a cottage right? The whole place was clean top to toe and plenty of amenities such as washing up liquid, tin foil, tea, coffee. We rented the house for a family birthday celebration. It was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean; it provided us with everything we needed for a fantastic weekend (including a games room). A short walk away from the centre of Bourton. Would 100% recommend without hesitation. We will definitely book again
We had a really fantastic stay in Nursery End House. The place was spotless and very comfortable. We were a family of 4, with 2 kids aged 1 and 3 and grandparents. The gates on the stairs were a great touch to make our lives easier for our 1 year old. The place is spacious and well equipped. I would definitely recommend.

StayCotswolds and Sue were wonderfully accommodating and provided great recommendations for a Sunday Roast for our group. The house is remarkably well equipped with dishware and kitchen needs, but also umbrellas and towels and full bookcase to peruse. They were even generous enough to bring a spare pair of sheets upon arrival to split one more of the beds into twin sets, which was greatly appreciated! We had an excellent stay and truly appreciated the hospitality.
We had a wonderfully relaxing stay in this beautiful home. It is full of stylish touches and has everything you need for a truly comfortable stay, we loved returning after days spent exploring nearby villages and gardens. Lots of dining options in Chipping Campden as well as options for picking up something tasty for dinner at home. The owner was very helpful and we found Pinkney House a real gem and would highly recommend.

Very clean and had loads provided in the kitchen and games etc for the family. Great communication with the owner on everything you wanted to know . Two local pubs to have meals or drinks in. Very quiet too. Close to things to do for days out. Was perfect.
Hi, We loved our stay at the Nook. The accommodation is just perfect, the kitchen was very well equipped, and the sofa and bed were comfy. We couldn't fault it. We also had great customer service from Stay Cotswolds and the housekeeper of the Nook. We would stay again.
The Old School House is a beautiful property really close to the centre of Stow. The property is decorated lovely, the kitchen is very modern and the bathroom is great. There is lots of space for two, a comfortable bed, and lovely amenities. The owner is really helpful and welcoming - thank you for the treats too! Had a wonderful, relaxing time exploring a beautiful part of the country. Will be returning!
We had a lovely long weekend at the Fox. The property has only recently been converted from what was originally one of the farm outbuildings. The conversion is to a very high standard, very warm and cosy. The interior is very tastefully decorated. The owners were very welcoming and friendly but never intrusive. The property was spotless. The location is ideal for walking and the network of local footpaths is only a few yards away, in fact we didn’t use the car at all during our stay. We plan to visit again at some point in the future.
The Pear Tree Cottage is amazing! It is beautifully decorated but warm, comfortable and inviting as well. The house was extremely clean and tidy. We had everything we needed for a family vacation. The location is perfect for exploring Bourton on the Water and close to wonderful restaurants and grocery stores. The location was also very good for exploring other areas of the Cotswolds. We will return one day soon hopefully!

We stayed here for a long weekend, cottage was in beautiful and in lovely surroundings, some good local walks and the pub opposite was very welcoming with good food for dinner and a great breakfast.
Had a lovely short stay at Church End. Hosts were both flexible and responsive. The house has been furnished with high end furnishings, which extends to the kitchen - sharp knives are rare in rentals. Was very quiet, despite it being Easter holidays and the anticipated early morning wake up call from the church next door, never mateialised. Ate at Flipside, Russells and Number 32, all of which i'd reccommend. Nice walk up to the Broadway Tower, rewarded with cracking view. Would stay again.
We found this cottage to be very well appointed , very clean and well away from main road and no traffic noise.We would not hesitate to stay here again
The Haven was a perfect stay for 2 friends; great location right on the high street with all the essential amenities on your doorstor, immaculately clean and tidy on arrival with some thoughtful extras supplied and overall good value for money. We would definitely stay here again.
Everything about this cottage was perfect, it had everything we needed for our stay, it was spotless and the décor was beautiful. Location was so handy for the local shops, cafes and pubs and easy to explore the wider Cotswolds.
Glebe Cottage is beautifully decorated, with extensive living space, and is very well equipped. Very comfortable holiday. Bledington has a super pub and volunteer shop/cafe, and is only a short journey to Stow, Bourton on the water and Burford.
The instructions were very helpful. The narrow alleyway was difficult to find and would have been difficult to manoeuvre had there been more cars parked. The bedding and beds were very comfortable and we could not fault it. Thank you for a peleasant stay
This was the second time we stayed at Twigs and it was just as excellent as the first. It is a lovely space, nicely located, is exceptionally clean, and a lot of thought has been put into it to make it a great place to stay.

Thanks so much for an amazing stay at 2 Bottom End. As soon as we walked in we immediately felt like it was home. So cosy. The furnishings were fantastic. The most comfortable bed ever. The location itself is fantastic. We usually stay in Shepherds huts that are miles away from anything so it was really amazing to stay so close to a town where you can have a really good wonder round at the shops and pubs.
The cottage was so cosy and comfortable. Very central and very welcoming. It felt like we were the first people to stay. We found our home away from home. Beautiful cottages and houses, scenic river walks, tea in the post office cafe, a pint in the local pub, the local church steeped in history with a one a kind stained glass window.
We really enjoyed our short stay at the Glen pre Christmas , the cottage is roomy and yet quaint with a well stocked kitchen . The village of Blockley is beautiful with friendly resident's.
We loved the cottage from the moment my sister, my aunt, her dog and I stepped in. The owners have done a wonderful job of renovating it to a high spec, but it still felt very cosy and all of us had the best nights sleep, as it is so quiet. The owners were very friendly and gave us some great tips of places to visit. We loved exploring the local area with plenty of lovely walks and pubs nearby. We had a lovely visit to the monastery cafe and gardens on our last day. We will definitely be coming to visit again soon.

This lovely modern property is clean and spacious for 4 people occupancy. Very nice fireplace but only the first day logs are supplied. You need to buy your own logs for the remaining days of stay. Walkers Stoves at Burford high street sells really good quality wood logs. You can also buy it from co-op which is just a 100 yards away the property. Had a wonderful stay at Ostlers in Burford. Steve was extremely helpful, letting us know all about this former coaching inn, and how everything worked. Also what to find in the local area, couldn’t have been more helpful. Easy booking with StayCotswold, also very helpful. The house is well equipped with everything with every day essentials, ie: coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, cling film, dishwasher tablets etc. The position of Ostlers was perfect, all the local eateries were within walking distance. We needed accommodation for seven to celebrate our daughter’s 40th birthday and this property which is two linked was perfect. Property finished to a high standard and bathrooms were lovely. We would have liked two ovens but managed with one and kitchen was otherwise excellent. Plenty of crockery and cutlery. Outside area ideal although extra sun beds would have been useful if weather better.
Really pleased with the accommodation at ‘Luxury in the Cotswolds’. The attention to detail was great - the little things make all the difference! Would highly recommend and would love to revisit.
The cottage was ideally located to explore the Cotswolds. It was clean, and finished to a high standard. Had a beautiful back garden and was very quiet. Enjoyed staying here and would definitely stay again.
On arrival the house was clean and tidy. The property is in an excellent location and just a few minutes walk to all the town of Tetbury has to offer. Nice touch was bottle of wine on arrival and tea, coffee and milk. The house has everything you need with a well stocked kitchen should you wish to cook. We had an issue with one of the showers located on first floor but on contacting the owner she was very helpful and arranged for this to be rectified within a couple of days. Loved our weeks stay at The Byres, Elmley Castle, its centrally heated which makes it extremely comfortable. Also the fact we could do some washing is a great benefit The Byres is in a quaint little village although no shops only The Queen Elizabeth Arms which serves fabulous food. You definitely need a car to drive to the scenic towns of the Cotswolds
This barn is beautiful we really enjoyed our stay here We chose it as it had good reviews and an enclosed garden for the dog. It had everything you need and its in a really quiet location. We didn’t find the beds particularly comfortable as per other reviews but that’s just personal preference. The only negative we have, it says there is a neighboring barn, it’s adjoining and we were awoken at 6am every morning with young children screaming/crying etc Obviously cannot be helped it’s just more of a full disclosure that you can hear everything through the walls from the adjoining barn.
A splendid few days at Owls Roost to celebrate a birthday.. The house is comfortable and very well equipped, and the information provided by the owners before we arrived, was accurate and very helpful. It makes a great place to explore Bourton-on-the-Water and the surrounding area.
A really lovely unit. Fantastic location. The only difficulty we had was finding the parking initially. A diagram would be helpful as it is not straight forward finding it. The unit was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay.
Lovely property for a friends get-together. Excellent location in the village of Burford, The welcome hamper was a lovely touch. Everybody found their beds, extremely comfortable and raved about the beautiful, crisp, cotton bedlinen. We ate out every night, but cooked breakfast on one of the mornings and found the kitchen to be very well equipped. All a wonderful cottage in a fabulous location!
A great house to spend a few days with our children and grandchildren. The house was even nicer than it looked online. Very spacious, very well equipped and six en suite bathrooms for the bedrooms made it extremely comfortable. The garden was a good size and we made good use of the hot tub which was really fun. We didn’t use the outdoor table and chairs but they would be great in the summer. We hope to go back next year for another get together.
I decided to take my mum to the Cotswolds to celebrate her 75th birthday. I chose Gisleburtus House as it looked spacious with lovely interior design and a great location. I was absolutely delighted on entering the property to see that it looked as good, if not better than the photographs. This is a very well designed property with ample space for two couples. It was just my mum and I so we felt quite spoilt with the space, along with having lovely en suites each. Rabbit is a perfect retreat with the most welcoming hosts. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for cooking. Country walks are easily accessible from the property and the surrounding area has plenty to offer. Truly a home away from home, we couldn't fault a thing.
We had a fab time at Keeley Cottage, beautiful setting in Chipping Campden. The cottage was spotless and we couldn’t fault it, they have thought of everything you could need. Lovely welcome groceries and wine, even dog bowls provided. Enjoyed the wood burning stove and the well stocked games cupboard.
My wife and I (and more recently our son) have been coming to the Cotswolds for years, often staying in or around the central and northern reaches such as Stow, Blockley, Chipping Campden and Weston-sub-Edge. We had a brilliant time staying at The Smithy. Communication was excellent throughout. The house is really lovely and the kitchen well stocked. The house was exceptionally clean. Beautifully decorated with spacious rooms in the main house and the gorgeous little barn had plenty of room for the older children, which when there are 9 of you and a dog, is perfect! Plenty of useful information left for us to peruse and the games in the outside area for the kids were great. Caroline was always on hand if we needed anything and left us with some lovey Easter biscuits which were delicious and a lovely touch. Thank you for a truly enjoyable Easter break .. we will be back!
We enjoyed a wonderful family reunion at Cross Keys Cottage. The house is centrally located, surprisingly spacious, and well maintained, with very comfortable beds! The owners were gracious enough to extend our check out at no cost to allow us time for a lazy lunch. Highly recommended.
The room was very clean, including the carpeted areas, and warmed up quickly for the chilly nights. The bed was quite comfortable and the bath towels were in great condition. There also were utensils and bowls, which was convenient. It was a bit difficult at first to understand the shower's controls and the toilet sometimes had a weak flush. The wifi was also not very strong. But overall, it was a great stay!

I can’t completely describe just how amazing our stay was at Stonewell Farmhouse. The house itself was absolutely beautiful.. we were all completely in love with it. The decor was beautiful and every single detail that had been put into decorating it was spot on. It was large enough to not fall over each other (there were 8 couples) but set out in a way in which you could all spend time together when you wanted. Overall I'd give this 4 out of 5, we've been here before about 5 years ago and had a lovely time, it's much the same here. Just assume that everything else is great in terms of comfort and cleanliness, apart from the following: - The downstairs shower really could do with having the mastic replaced as it's mouldly now (and the showerhead needs a really thorough descale). It's not terrible, but when everything else is so good, it stands out. - There were a few really big, thick cobwebs around the beams and in the fireplace, which is a bit disconcerting as it makes you think the rest of t...more
Stone cottage had a lovely home away from home feel, very well equipped, we appreciated the flowers and cakes on arrival! The cottage was warm with added benefit of a nice gas fire,two big comfy sofas and lovely bedrooms. Lots of food shops and restaurants walkable from the cottage. Disadvantages would be the narrow lane you have to drive down to get to the cottage. There was a social club near by and some noise could be heard from people leaving! This didn’t spoil our stay though!
We came away for a few days for our honeymoon after recently getting married, the property was excellent and in an ideal location. The owner was very friendly and even gave us a bottle to celebrate. Would highly recommend this to anyone!
Vine Cottage is tucked away in a complex array of houses but with its own garden and private parking. The property is excellently appointed with everything you could possible need for a stay and the food welcome pack a generous bonus. The accommodation is finished to a high specification and we loved the log burner and the hot tub. We've recently returned from a 4 night break at Nepenthe Cottage in Stow-on-the-Wold. What a perfect location, right in the centre of Stow, just a few steps from the pubs, restaurants and shops. The cottage was perfectly equipped for our break. The lounge was so comfortable and cosy, as were the bedrooms. It was very handy having the 3 bathrooms too. The kitchen was well-equipped too. It was great! We absolutely loved it! The location was great, short driving distances to Stow-on-the-Wold and Moreton-in-Marsh, which both had grocery stores and everything else you need for a visit to the Cotswolds. We ate breakfast at the house and cooked and ate several dinners at the house as well. The only downside about the location, is that a car is needed. But with a car, you can explore all around, making short trips throughout the Cotswolds or even venturing further out. We really enjoyed our stay. We arrived when it was dark and had difficulty finding it. We were right there but would’ve appreciated a sign. On main gate saying Rose Tree Cottage or at least the number to be displayed better! Only criticism was there wasn’t enough crockery. Five of us and only five plates/bowls so needed to keep washing up rather than being able to put in dishwasher.
We very much enjoyed our holiday n the Shepherds Hut. It it beautifully fitted inside. We hope to stay again. The only downside was the tiny fridge, which for us could have done with being larger.
We had a fantastic 4 day stay (Mon - Fri) at Steeple View. The accommodation was excellent, very clean and well equipped for families and is situated in such a lovely quaint village. Our two young daughters especially loved the bunk bed which was definitely the highlight of their stay. Can’t wait to return hopefully sometime in the Summer!

The Barn is excellent - we had a party of 10 share the weekend from ages 5 to 70 and the facilities were comfortable and flexible with amenities to cater for all of us. The space was modern and comfortable, the kitchen was great with excellent storage, fridges and freezers, plenty of cutlery and crockery, the rooms, beds and other furniture were comfortable - bathrooms plentiful and convenient. The feature sitting room was decorated for Christmas with a lovely tree and the unique design of the building certainly added the wow-factor for our weekend.

My daughter and myself plus our cockapoo Teddy, stayed in the beautiful shepherds hut which has been well thought out.It and warm and bed so comfy with lovely touches on arrival wine and muffins.Teddy had lots of lovely space to play in including the fields which were wet and boggy but a dog's joy,Because it was in March we did not see another person during our stay and so peaceful. We were able to visit the Cotswold wildlife Zoo which was dog friendly a great day out, and had a meal at the local pub the swan on Mother's day. We had a wonderful stay in this house for a bit of a reunion. The rooms were spacious, clean and comfy and the communal spaces great for a group. The garden is amazing, the dogs loved running around and the fire pit by the stream made for a lovely evening. We enjoyed the local walks right on the doorstep and the local pub, it’s a great place to meet in a group and plenty to do in the nearby vicinity. I would definitely come back to this house! Could not recommend highly enough. One recommendation though is don’t arrive in Stow on the Wold in the dark as the exact location of the property and finding a parking spot was a bit of a challenge. But it was worth the effort because once found we were delighted with Trinity. It was very well equipped warm and very clean. The old building had been converted into apartments and had been done to a very high spec. A nice touch was finding biscuits tea coffee sugar and a packet of biscuits waiting for us as well as a pint of milk in the fridge.
This is a super place to stay. The house is exceptionally nice. Decorated to a high standard, and very spacious and comfortable. The garden is lovely with a good sized lawn. It also has outdoor table and chairs. It overlooks a field with sheep, and is very peaceful. Great location in the countryside with lots of interesting places nearby, including a park with animals, birds etc. We'll definitely be back.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Old Dairy, the house was very comfortable and everything we could possibly need was provided. The garden was great for our Springer Spaniel and we had no worry that he would escape! The house was exceptionally cosy and warm, we loved the kitchen. 11 of us spent a week at The Farmhouse during Cheltenham Festival week 2024. Neil was absolutely brilliant in the run up to our stay, providing detailed check in information, directions etc. The house was spotless on arrival and very welcoming. All rooms were spacious and most included modern en-suites. The views were amazing. Quality and immaculately presented accommodation. Well situated with only a short walk to the town centre and amenities. Ideal for a short break. One minor disadvantage in that the property would benefit from towel rails. Would use again and would recommend without hesitation.
Such a nice place to spend the weekend - perfect location with plenty of pubs within walking distance as well as a budgens across the road. Lots of nice country walks. Accommodation was super cosy, had everything you could possibly need. Dog friendly was a bonus too! Would be good if the sofa was a tiny bit comfier for those nights in front of the fire with one of the many DVDs they leave you! But apart from that, it was perfect.
Hillview was a beautiful house for our family birthday celebrations. The kitchen especially with the views across the valley. We all had a great time.
I would highly recommend Ross House. It was in a great location, was clean and tidy and was a beautiful house. They stay was made even better as it had been decorated beautifully for Christmas which made our stay very special. The only issue we had was the bed in the 3rd bedroom was very uncomfortable and difficult to sleep in.
Perfect location to explore the surrounding villages, as well as Stow itself. All amenities available. Very quiet. You could see a few cars passing, but couldn't hear them. Perfect break
The cottage was perfect for our weekend get-together. The interiors are done beautifully with lovely stylish details and had everything we needed for our stay. As it was the beginning of March, we didn't make use of any of the outdoor space but we could see that it was spacious and well looked after. We really enjoyed our stay and are already looking into re-booking for our get together next year.
What a lovely cottage, beautifully decorated and comfortable. I loved waking up in the morning and seeing the baby lambs from my bedroom window. From Benson cottage it was an easy drive to visit all the places that we wanted to see during our stay. I would highly recommend Benson cottage and if we are ever staying in the Cotswolds again I would love to come back to stay.
We had a wonderful stay at Lulham, Bourton on the Water. The house was conveniently situated, spotless, well equipped and very comfortable for a family of 9. I would have no hesitation in booking it again and recommending it to others. Stay Cotswold were a lovely company to deal with.
A stunning characterful property located on a beautiful farm in stunning countryside. Lovely kitchen/dining area and beds were large and extremely comfortable. Located perfectly within the Cotswolds in easy striking distance of many picture perfect villages.
The property is in an excellent location within 100m to the shops and pubs of Moreton. It was spacious and clean with everything you could need. The hot tub was clean and well maintained. If you have a very big car you may find the parking a bit tight. EV charger wasn't working, but the property manager sorted it very quickly. I would recommend this property and would go again if I was visiting the area.
We had a very comfortable stay and loved the house. It has been furnished very well and gives off a very cosy feel. The only thing I would say is the ground floor bedroom with the en-suite was very cold at night due to the doorway in the bedroom. There was a draft coming through and it made the room feel quite damp by the morning. Also there are no windows in the en-suite bathroom so it stayed wet in there during our entire stay! Personally I think the door needs to be sealed if it isn’t being used. But overall it was a fantastic place to stay!
Choosing venues at a distance can be a bit of a lottery, but living as I do in Scotland with family scattered in South Wales, Yorkshire, Oxford, Bristol, and London, Goodlake Barns turned out to be the perfect solution. In fact the venue exceeded all my expectations and all 18 off us who were there felt the same. The whole layout gave us closeness but also independence. A superb conversion of a lovely collection of old farm buildings with a plethora of bathrooms and comfortable sofas. The Barn was very spacious and comfortable for our family get together of 13 plus a dog. The owners provided very good and clear instructions prior to our arrival. The children loved the trampoline and the hot tub. The large kitchen/dining/lounge area made a very sociable area with everything we needed. It was also very close to several National Trust walks and we enjoyed a day at the Cotswolds Wildlife Park.
Orchard cottage was very clean, cosy and in a lovely location. This cottage is the ideal getaway, the garden and views whilst sitting relaxing after a days exploring the Cotswolds, was absolutely perfect. The cottages facilities for cooking ensured after a long day we didn't have to venture out for food and the recent refurbishment meant our stay was relaxing. Had a lovely stay at Middle Barn for a couple of nights in March for Mothers Day. Comfortably slept 5 adults and a baby. Had everything we needed (apart from a corkscrew!). Would stay again.
The Hayloft was amazing! It had everything we needed. The owner really supplied everything for our comfort. We enjoyed staying there and would stay again. It was a great location to explore the villages. We loved the style and charm of the building. You enter through a gate and the grounds outside are lovely. We felt really secure there.
I spent a few days with two of my cousins and it was an unforgettable experience. The cottage is, indeed, very cozy and clean and had absolutely everything we needed and more. The costumer service was outstanding as well. Our only trouble was we found it a little tricky to move around because we didn't have a car, but we were always able to find taxis. I would love to come back in the future and stay for longer!

We stayed at Ivy Cottage for 2 nights and honestly we couldn't fault it. From the moment we got there we were blown away. The property was finished to such a high standard and was really clean. There was even a welcome basket with treat waiting for us on arrival. Even though there we other properties on the farm we weren't over looked and felt very private. The gardens we well kept and the hot tub really made the stay. The garden was also enclosed so we could let the dog run free. It was much more than what we expected and we will defiantly be booking again.

Lovely location and the place is very clean. However, the sofa is absolutely tiny. My partner and I found it very uncomfortable to sit on. There was also no hairdryer which I think is a basic requirement. Communication was also quite slow.
This was a great home, close to everything in Stow and a great base for exploring the Cotswolds. The property has everything you need for an extended stay. Communication with the property manger was excellent.

WOW. I don’t think pictures do this house justice. It’s on street behind main stretch of Bourton on Water. So when tourists dwindle down you can pop out to take a few unspoilt photos. There are a few tourists walking pass the house but not overlooked. Modern kitchen with all utensils and crockery you will need are provided and we did cook a few times there. Superb stay for our three families together [one of which came from Kuala Lumpur]. The house had beautiful rooms and lovely garden. The central heating ensured we stayed warm despite chilly weather outside. The hot-tub was a luxurious bonus which we all enjoyed. The beds were really comfortable with fresh, crisp linen. Martin et al were very helpful when we had a couple of minor problems. We stayed here for a long weekend and had the best time. The kitchen is small but well-equipped, the owners provided things like salt, pepper, olive oil, tea and coffee etc. The bed was super comfy. Everywhere was decorated lovely. The location was great for exploring different places in The Cotswolds. The stable itself is in the beautiful grounds of the owners’ home but still very private and we can’t rate it enough, will definitely be back!
A warm welcome from Andy set the tone for a lovely week away with the extended family. Comfy beds, clean well equipped bathrooms. Huge living space downstairs, added bonus was the grand piano which the more musical members of the family enjoyed playing! Would love to return in the summer and be able to fully enjoy the outside space. Great for kids, ours are 3 years and up but not being able to close off the stairs or any of the downstairs rooms might be tricky with toddlers.
We had a lovely stay at Prince Barn, it has everything you need and was immaculately clean and tidy. We had two babies in our party and there is a good amount of space for them to crawl around and the high chair and travel cot were much appreciated. The barn is in a lovely area and handy for attractions such as Blenheim Palace. We would definitely stay again.
Pear Tree Cottage was perfect for our family stay - 7 adults plus a toddler for a long weekend. Spacious rooms, very well equipped, great location, cosy log fires and useful boot room (both essentials for a cold, muddy February weekend!) We had a very enjoyable short break and would definitely consider returning sometime.
We enjoyed a very comforable stay at Pear Tree Cottage in the quiet, pretty little village of Cherington. The rooms are a generous size and the house is well equipped and warm. The walking in this part of the Cotswolds is beautiful, with lovely views. Heartily recommended!
We were 4 adults, a toddler and a small dog and had plenty of space at Rose Tree Cottage - great set up in terms of multiple sitting rooms, very spacious kitchen, garden was lovely for toddling and the dog. Location was great - 5 min drive to The Lamb, 7 min to The Swan - with some great walks around each pub. Would definitely consider going back and highly recommend the property - nicer than most country cottages for rent in the area!
We were 6 adults and 3 children celebrating a 70th birthday. The cottage was very suitable for us and the hot tub was used a lot. The layout is really good with plenty of room. The fourth bedroom is quite tight when the (uncomfortable) sofa is up. No parking really as on a main road but this did not cause a problem as the pub was happy to take two cars. All in all a great stay.
We love this cottage and it is our second visit. Every facility, comfortable bed and sofas in lounge. Quality fittings and warm and cosy. We will be back regularly.
We really enjoyed our stay. The cottage was perfect and had everything you would need for a weekend. We liked that the village was a more quiet one with less tourists around than the main famous Cotswold villages. Had some great food in pubs just a minute walk away. 10/10 would recommend.
Very clean,for me it lacked coziness. There was an issue in upstairs bathroom that could be an accident waiting to happen.There was also a sewage smell in boot room that seaped through. We had to block of the plug holes to cut down on odour.

We were a family of 6, 3 couples and a baby, initially struggling to get 3 double beds (not 1 or 2 twins like most properties offer) at a reasonable rate over the peak Easter Period in the Cotswold. Reasonable rates and Cotswolds - not exactly something easy to find. The Cottage is full of traditional Cotswold character but also offers all the modern creature comforts required. Overall we had a great stay in this very comfortable apartment. The terrace is lovely and a great asset. It was well located with a lovely view of the church. Unfortunately the oven wasn’t working and we did let the team know, fortunately Stow has many great places to eat. A few changes would be really helpful. Some baking trays as cooking tricky without them. More mugs (only 4) would be great and perhaps a refresh of the crockery, lots of chips. The shower head needs replacing as it was cracked and leaked. My family and I stayed at the Old Workshop in the Market Square at Stow on The Wold for the Cheltenham Festival. Really lovely, spacious house set in the gorgeous brewery grounds. Lots of room for eight adults and two dogs. The local area is beautiful and the peacocks add to the charm. Only, and in all respects tiny, downside is that the kitchen isn't equipped to cook for all the people in the house. There are enough plates and the like, but the hob is pretty tough to use and there aren't enough big pans/baking dishes etc. Otherwise a really wonderful place and in a part of the world we'd love to return to.
This is a beautiful barn, extremely well decorated and equipped. Our party of 7 plus one dog(!) had a very comfortable stay here. It was all on one level and gave good wheelchair access and facilities, which we needed. Highly recommended.
We really enjoyed our short stay at blossom cottage hopefully we will be back in the future to explore more of the lovely cotswold.

My partner and I stayed here for the weekend attending a wedding. Positives: - Great location, within 5 min walk to everything in Stow and off the main road so little to no outside noise. - Free off street parking which is super handy (Stow can get very busy at weekends). - Room was clean, comfy and had everything we needed for our stay. We booked Milton House via Stay Cotswolds and found them very helpful, particularly the website which enabled us to plan our stay and get to know the house in advance, allowing us to allocate bedrooms etc beforehand. We have recently had another very comfortable and enjoyable stay at Quaint End. It really is such a cosy place. Lovely open fire in the lounge, fab kitchen with an aga which we really enjoyed using. Brilliant bathroom, comfortable beds. There's a great pub in the village along with a farm shop/cafe about a 10 minute walk away. Fabulous countryside and walks right on your doorstep. We highly recommend Quaint End and look forward to returning again one day in the future.
Stayed Oct 2023 & can only say ‘wow’ what a special find. The apartment is in an ideal location right in the centre of Stow but still quiet & peaceful. Maize is nicely furnished and exceptionally clean. The welcome pack of tea bags, coffee & milk is very thoughtful and great to have on arrival. We will definitely be returning.
The cottage was lovely, just as pictures show. Beds were really comfy, and was a home from home. Bourton-on-the-Water only 30 min drive away, nearest village pub was 25 min walk down country lane.
We were celebrating a 90th birthday. Accommodation was ideal for the 9 of us. Lovely to have a large dining room table that we could share leisurely meals together. Well equipped kitchen for providing even a 3 course meal. Enough comfortable seating for us all in the lounge area. Great to have the open fire on in the evening.
Small but perfectly formed cottage in a great location, 10-15 min easy walk into Stow on the Wold. The cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing weekend away with our dog, the paddock outside was a great bonus for exercising him. The views from the cottage were stunning and due to its location very peaceful. The bed was very comfortable and the kitchen was well appointed. The cottage was warm and cosy with the added warmth of the log burner. Stow has lots of lovely shops and pubs and everyone was so friendly. Would definitely recommend the cottage and the area for a nice break.

Our week-long stay in a lovely Cotswolds cottage was a wonderful family getaway. The local pub was excellent, offering delicious food and a warm atmosphere. The picturesque surroundings and quaint village added to the charm. However, the cottage could use some improvements. It was not well-equipped, with limited supplies like one roll of toilet paper and kitchen paper. The absence of wardrobes, laundry tablets for the washing machine, and a tin opener were minor inconveniences. Overall, it was a great experience, but these improvements would enhance future stays.
Access to our own property was flooded so we had to find dog friendly accommodation in the Witney area at very short notice. Coursehill Barn Annexe was available and ideal for us as it had a clean, safe and well kept lawned garden for our dog. We arrived with our shopping including ice cream which we had to bin because there is no freezer or even ice box in the fridge. Other than this the property is excellent

Lots of lovely seating areas so we could all find somewhere to sit to read, watch TV, play games or even craft! Beautiful decor throughout! There were lots of oohs and ahs as we spotted the wooden candelabra in the kitchen or the beautiful bowl in the living room .. or the gorgeous burnt orange sofa (my favourite). Had a great time at the organic wagon. The view is great and it is in close vicinity to numerous spots to visit. The bed was in incredibly comfortable and completed the stay.
We had a lovely stay at rainbow barns, the accommodation was clean and comfortable and in the perfect location. Our hosts were friendly and helpful, and their dog Ellie came to say hello too. We would highly recommend Rainbow barns and hope to return in the future.
Top Cottage is in a perfect location, first time we have stayed in a cottage where everything was within walking distance, and we really enjoyed this aspect. Sharon got in touch pre arrival with all the information we needed and was on hand to answer questions. The cottage was lovely and clean, and had all the Cotswold charm you would hope for. We really enjoyed our stay at Barnsley cottage. The kitchen is well stocked with everything you need for cooking. And the welcome hamper was a nice touch. A semi comfortable stay at Hillcrest Cottage. Accomodation is quite small but okay for 2 people. The Main bedroom has a large double but the mattress is a little lumpy and the metal bed squeaks. The smaller room has a double with not much space to walk around to get to the wardrobe. The heating is excellent and we were able to adjust it easily. We planned to have a fire on the first night but no wood was left for us. We contacted the relative owner and ensured we had some for only 1 night. My parents and I, stayed in this beautiful Primorose cottage. It’s location is amazing, we enjoyed long walks. I would however don’t recommend this cottage for elderly people as the beams that are located in the bedrooms are extremely low, not too safe. But overall we did enjoyed!
The apartment is next to the A40 so a bit noisy. It is comfortable and reasonably well equipped but could do with occasional tables in the lounge and bedside tables/cabinets in the smaller bedroom (previously noted in a December 2023 review) to improve guest comfort. Also, the water for the en-suite bath/shower was scalding hot and the thermostat dial did not alter the temperature whichever way it was turned, there is no rubber mat or grab rails to assist you getting in and out of the bath tub. Great location within a stone's throw of Bourton on the Water centre and useful to have 4 parking spots. Good sized rooms and very nicely furnished. Great to have 2 comfy sitting rooms which means those that wanted to watch the rugby didn't disturb the rest! Admin was all very clear except that it took us quite a while to find the keysafe as we didn't know it was in the garage. A comfortable cottage in a village just 4mins from Stow on the wold , also well positioned to reach most of the Cotswolds within 20-30mins. Having a tumble dryer was a bonus, and the milk and bread left was a nice welcome along with the kitchen pack (although it had no washing up liquid provided) .
This was the second time we have stayed and we shall be back. The flat is extremely clean and despite the cold weather we were very comfortable.
Lovely stay in Norman Chapel. Beautiful house. Very clean. Nice welcome pack that we didn’t realise we would get. Really could do with wardrobes, in 2 of the bedrooms, not everything wants to be folded. Some of the blinds are tired. One in main bedroom there was a problem with, goes all the way up or all the way down, no in between. Beds very comfortable. Had a problem with heating but that was resolved quickly. Would recommend.
Great property & location. Sadly, the property was not very clean. All light fitting had old cobwebs hanging from them. Folding doors to outside thick with dirt & cobwebs, as too was the bathroom window. Washing machine had a terrible smell, from the door not been left open. We recently stayed at Landgate house for a family catch up. There were 12 of us ranging from 5-73yrs and 2 dogs. We all had a really enjoyable stay. The house was clean and v well equipped with lots of space and large comfortable bedrooms. The children and dogs loved the 1.5 acre garden and it was great to be within walking distance to a shop, coffee shop and excellent couple of pubs. We will certainly be returning in the future.
My family and I rented the Byre for five days across the Christmas season and had the most wonderful stay. The house was beautifully furnished and warm, but the property team went above and beyond with lovely festive touches and a Christmas tree! The location was ideal, as we had all the perks of countryside calm and seclusion, while also only being a 10 minute drive away from Cirencester. The property team were also very flexible and easy to get in contact with when we needed a later check-out time. Thank you so much for making this holiday so wonderful for my family!
Perfect little cottage for a few nights stay. We arrived a bit early and Eliza was kind enough to let us go in, a welcoming fire had already been lit in the log burner, which was a nice touch along with a welcome package of wine, chocolates and mince pies. The cottage is well equipped and comfortable with a lovely recently refurbished shower room. There is a safe enclosed garden for the dog and a couple of decent walks directly from the cottage. We absolutely had the best time staying at Flower Barn. The communication from Stay Cotswolds before the break was excellent which made the destination easy to find and settling in to the cottage easy. The accommodation was second to none and perfect for a family of 3 or 4. Everything was spotless, there were washing up items included and a lovely cake and pint of milk and teabags were waiting for us. The cottage lies in a very quiet location at the end of a private lane with nice views and lots of light coming in. It is furnished very well which makes you feel at home right away. The large and comfortable bathroom is a big plus. The owners are very friendly and helpful and respond quickly to messages and small issues. As other reviews already stated the kitchen is a bit basic/poorly equipped. A little investment in that section would really be a great upgrade for the total experience. No heating during stay. Refund promised but not received. Told us that because it was a nice day in early March we wouldn't need heating. Poor service
Only drawback was a fan noise that was very loud at night, particularly in twin bedded room. Sounded like a mighty storm enough to keep occupants awake. We couldn’t find out what or where it came from. Otherwise all good.
Though Sat Cotswolds gave us the 'What 3 Words' to find the cottage, we were unable to use this as there is very little signal in the area, and struggled to find the cottage, the cottage name at the end of the drive way would help, that said the location is beautiful and the cottage is lovely, it had everything we needed for out family of 10 gathering. Lovely well-equipped cottage in a good location. (Only very wet weather and local flooding restricted our use of local footpaths) a couple of minor issues were rectified by property manager immediately. Local facilities in Eynsham were excellent.
We spent a week in the cottage. We are all 5’7 and under and the ceilings were still very low. Kitchen far too small to properly cook in for four people and for the size felt very unclean, milk stains in fridge, dishes all needed washing and lots of stains on floor. Generally cleanliness was ok but felt the property had not been deep cleaned in a while, as skirting boards all around the property were very dirty and we had a lot of dirty stains on socks. We had a very pleasant stay at Lavender Cottage. It's a cozy little cottage that has an excellent location right in the heart of the village of Bourton-on-the-Water, which has plenty to do in it. You are in walking distance to everything in town. The cottage is tucked away behind another cottage, so it was a little tricky to find at first, but the check-in instructions are clear. There's a lovely garden, well-equipped kitchen and overall historic vibe to the place. The cottage was easy to find with good car parking. Overall it was excellent, well equipped and very comfortable. Small shops nearby and an excellent Pub, The George, which provided good food. We had to phone the maintenance company on arrival as a couple of light bulbs were out, one of the controls on the cooker was off and one of the two ovens wasn't working. However, the bulbs were replaced the following day and the cooker problems were noted by the maintenance person, as they didn't impact us. We had a lovely stay and communication was excellent. The cottage is very traditional and in a great location, despite being next to a road, and is very charming. It's great for visiting all areas of the cotswolds and parking is easy. There are elements of the farmhouse in need of updating, the kitchen and dining chair cushions are very worn and little things like the pull out tables in the lounge are very unstable so not usable. These are minor issues but they would make a huge difference.

The Bake house was a very comfortable property that easily slept six adults. The beds were lovely. Bathrooms were spacious. We were there in winter and the heating kept us warm and toasty. The cottage was very well equipped, and the gift of fresh eggs was much appreciated! ( For those with mobility issues, There is a steep step into the dinning room and the staircase upstairs was also quite steep - also unloading our car in Friday evening traffic was challenging and a reminder that we should travel light- er! Hello, the house was clean and in good condition. The top of microwave was really dirty only realised as had to make dinner for my daughter. And no toaster in the house? Also the stairs to the top bedroom are really steep not ideal for a 2.5 year old and I thought the rooms were all on one level as per the photos. We had a lovely stay though. Thanks
We booked Bunt barn for a weekend getaway with our family at the end of October to celebrate our Ruby wedding anniversary. In our group there were six adults and our 15 months old grandson. We arrived on Friday 27th evening and were quite disturbed to find a lots of live and dead flies in two of the bedrooms, toilet, bathroom and the stairs. We have done so many cottage holidays in Cotswold area but never came across such a problem. We stayed at Windrush for a family pre-Christmas weekend and had a really great time. What made it very special was our accommodation, which was a fantastic venue for a gathering. We could visit Chipping Norton, Moreton-in-March and Stowe on the Wold with ease as they were all very close. We also had the village pub withing walking distance, plus access to country lanes for a Saturday morning walk. Will definitely be back. Thank you.
Overall my family really enjoyed our stay at Willows house. It felt very homely and the layout was perfect. Location in Lower Swell was great, really nice local pub and close to shops in Stow. Our only criticism would be of some of the amenities supplied. The pots/pans etc were quite old and not suitable for cooking for a large family.
Perfect stay Millers cottage despite wet muddy conditions. The old cliche home away from home.would recommend it as a dog friendly haven for all visitors
We had a lovely time at Wren Cottage. It was perfect for us as a couple with a small toddler. The place has been done to a very high standard. There was everything you could need in the kitchen. The road was noisy but we had ear plugs so it didn’t bother us. The location was excellent and parking right outside.

We were pleased with our stay. The property was in a good location and a good size. I did think it could do with a bit of redecoration/touch up, most of the walls/picture frames had at least one chip/dent in. We also couldnt find the bins. Other than that we had a positive experience. Thanks
Lovely cottage, well presented, clean and extremely cosy, tea&coffee provided, & a pint of milk in the fridge! Located just 1 min walk from the main high street of Moreton in Marsh. The ample book & DVD selection on the shelves was great for the time spent indoors.
Cannot fault the cottage , fantastic location (although the downside is ease of parking , the lay-by at the front of the house is as often in accessible due to cars blocking the space) The weekend we stayed at the cottage there was a very loud fairground set up along the high street , this was problematic as the noise was loud and went on until late . It seemed like a planned event and would have been useful to have been notified of this event by the rental company as this would have lmpacted our decision to stay in this location
Beautiful house . Beds is very comfortable. Pity there no parking outside the house . You can park in the long term car park. Would be great if the kitchen have enough utensils to make a proper meal for 8 adults.The kitchen store cupboard could do with some extra kitchen towels . At the weekend the road outside the house can be noisy due to a pub closed by.
Warm and cosy cottage in a quiet little village a couple of miles from Broadway. Quirky accommodation but comfortable and adequate for our needs - 2 adults, two children and a dog. Lots of loose wires in the lounge and bedrooms which need to be sorted out. Some door hooks or a coat stand would be useful as there was nowhere to hang coats so we had to leave them on the sofa. Lots of bedding stored in the wardrobe in one of the bedrooms so not much space to keep you clothes.
Sadly we were disappointed with a number of aspects of booking and staying with Staycotswold. Firstly, even through the email with regards to a security deposit stating no money would be taken out of my account, the security deposit was in fact taken out of my account. When I contacted Staycotswold I was told that I had misunderstood the email and because Staycotswold don't receive the security deposit then it hasn't been taken out of my account. Great space and surroundings, with good provision for football, tennis etc. loved the house, only drawback was not being able to control the heating which meant the house, particularly the bedrooms were very warm, even using the provided fans. Would still recommend and book again
Pretty cottage, although sadly very poor hot water system (even with the immersion heater on) which meant you could not have a bath and even two showers were a challenge. The cleaning was not good either, dead flies on the window sill / seat in the master bedroom. All the window sills inside the cottage were also very dirty and cobwebs all over the place.
We stayed as two couples in March 24 The location is perfect however the property is in urgent need of attention. There are a number of maintenance issues, the bedding was terrible and extremely old, I would suggest you check before you book that this has been replaced. We enjoyed our stay because Bourton on the Water is lovely and having stayed in many cottages this was by far the worst. Feedback has been given to the owner and they have responded to say the issues will be dealt with.
Instructions and any communication with the property was very easy to follow and helpful. The kindly allowed us to have 2 well behaved dogs in the house at an extra cost. Parking outside the property was easy, or you'd park round the corner and move it when there was a space, we didn't move them once we parked for the whole weekend. We did however go to park one car behind the property in the allotted space but the house next door had parked two cars and encroached our parking so we're unable to fit a car in. We had a very enjoyable stay at Gassons View over Christmas. The cottage is lovely. The fireplace is original and it was great to light the fire. The beds were very comfy. Nice big kitchen and welcome goodies of milk, fresh eggs, butter etc were much appreciated. Only negative comment is the fact we were only left one black bag for rubbish under the sink and dustbins and glass box were already full.

An attractive , well maintained cottage equipped with decor and furnishings of high standard. Lovely welcome goodies. The stairs both up and down are extremely steep and narrow with only a rope banister and the outside patio floor lights did not work so it was pitch black going to the car. It would be helpful to have stepping stones from car park to patio doors as walking across wet grass is not fun and also leads to mud treading into the cottage .
Lovely apartment to stay. Peaceful, relaxing and even better that we could have our dog too! Very comfy bed and the best shower. We will be booking again soon for sure!!
We have just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay in Orchard Cottage. It is a gorgeous, quaint cottage located in the beautiful village of Broadway. There were 3 of a travelling so the cottage was the perfect size. We had a rental car (parking close by at a charge of £4 per 24 hours) so spent the days exploring other villages throughout the Cotswolds and loved returning the cottage each night. Cosy, clean, fully stocked with all basics. The welcome wine and cake was a lovely added touch!
Arrival was a bit fraught. Instructions tell you that the arrival point is the garage but there's nothing to identify the garage doors as belonging to the cottage and we're not really familiar with using "Just Three Words". Getting into the garage which is right on a very busy road involves a very tricky manoeuvre. We found the keys to the house door but couldn't open it. Eventually we rang a contact number who said that the door was probably already open. We had been locking an unlocked door. We had a lovely stay in the warm and cosy Lammas cottage. It was a great location to enjoy a walk from the start of the Cotswolds Way at the nearby village of Chipping Campden, plus a visit to the picturesque Broadway Tower. The cottage itself was comfortable, had a well equipped kitchen and lots of character. The bedrooms are certainly a bit tight, but that was all part of the charm of the place, and the beds are comfy. Stay Cotswolds were very good but the owner of Dovecote Cottage was rude and patronising. No electrics in downstairs bedrooms and heating not working so very little sleep - ow was reaction was to tell us we were free to go home or move to another property where we would need to strip the beds and remake them! Would not stay here again but would rebook elsewhere with Stay Cotswold
