Folly View is a state of the art, contemporary and funky six bedroom barn conversion with a hot tub situated amongst a number of converted barns and farm buildings at Camden Farm. Located along the river Thames and surrounded by countryside, this dog friendly holiday accommodation is ideally suited for larger gatherings with friends and family.

Folly view was the perfect house for my party of 10, the bedrooms were lovely clean and warm with beautiful decor. The welcome package was a lovely surprise. The kitchen was very well stocked with crockery and cutlery, pots and pans etc. Would definitely recommend this company and accommodation and looking to book another weekend away at Folly View in the summer .

Comfortable large house on the edge of the Cotswolds and near the Thames Path. Burford and Oxford 25 minutes away.
Excellent large kitchen/diner which we spent most of our time in. Comfortable beds except for the twin room where beds were a bit soft and headroom tight (slanting roof). Good to have bedrooms on the ground floor although 3 bedrooms have no view ie look onto a garage wall/car port so they are quite dark. Bathrooms all good.
Lounge is just about big enough for 12 - seating more comfortable for 10. Lovely views onto big garden.
Furnishings are modern and stylish.
There were one or two small niggles during our stay which were dealt with promptly.

We had 15 members of the family to stay, 8 adults, 5 toddlers and 2 babies. The facilities for each age group were first class. Each bedroom had a dedicated bathroom, the children had a play room and the beds were configured to keep them all happy. Cots and high chairs were supplied as were steps for toddlers to wash their hands. The welcome pack was first class and included enough Halloween biscuits for the kids. I viewed this as a sign that the owners cared about their clients as individuals.
The kitchen was well equipped with two dishwashers to keep a good supply of clean mugs. Two fridges and a freezer. We hired in a chef for one meal and he was very complementary abut the equipment available. The property was a little warm on arrival better than being too cold, easy to remedy. There was plenty of space for 15 people to be comfortable, so long as you didn't get mown down by hurtling children. The secure garden was also a boon. We highly recommend this property to anyone with a large group to accommodate. Some additional lit signage from the road would have been very helpful especially if you are arriving in the dark.

Folly View - our second visit. Everything was in great condition & very comfortable for our party group of 14 ( 8 adults & 6 children).
Plenty of space & perfect venue for our family get together.
We really enjoyed our stay.

Ideally it would be helpful if there were more china, glasses and cutlery.
Last year the table soccer & table tennis were inside the barn whereas this year it’s under cover outside & located just outside where other other people are staying - pity.

We really enjoyed our stay at Folly View, everything was very clean and well equipped. The beds could be a little bit comfier but that was a minor issue and the drains at the front of the house need to be cleared as when it rained the drive was full of puddles but all minor! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and communication was great with the team!

Nicely decorated property with good quality furnishings. Our party of 12 ranged in age from 18 months to 76 years and Folly View suited our needs very well. Grounds were well kept and the property was in a good location.

Welcome pack was very good, but still looking for the promised Nespresso machine

Very tastefully decorated

As usual the kitchen knives were not sharp

No complaints about the comfort of the beds although the twin bed room was rather Spartan compared to the others much to the chagrin of the youngest member of our group who drew that straw!

Rain head shower fell on to the head of one of the guests, but was cleaned and reassembled by us

Everything else was ok

We don’t state anywhere that there is a Nespresso machine at this property and apologise if you thought there would be one, I’ll contact you separately to better understand your comments here, just in case we can make any improvements to the listing for future guests. Having shared your feedback with the owner, he wasn’t aware of any issue with the showerhead but would have acted straight away to fix this had he been informed. The owner was very sorry that this happened to one of your group and appreciated you making us aware of this now. The owner will also look to have the kitchen knives sharpened, thank you for raising this. Overall, we hope that your group enjoyed the special birthday celebrations at Folly View and that you will be back to stay again sometime!

Folly View was a wonderful place to stay , perfect for a large family with plenty of space and every facility that could be wished for .
Although we live in the country , we were struck by the immense peace of the location and such wonderful views all around .
For four short days we really were in another world !
The well equipped kitchen made it easy to cater for everyone and we made the most of the BBQ , the hot tub , the games room and even went paddle boarding on the river close by us . Hopefully we can return one day !

The property was great - almost perfect. Our only piece of feedback was that the ovens did not heat up to temperature and it took alot longer to heat up food than we had anticipated. It might be worth letting people know to put the ovens on a higher temperature than they otherwise would.

My daughter came on holiday from Australia so the family got together. We had a wonderful few days despite the weather. Folly View is a beautiful place. Everything so spacious and modern. Very well but equipped. We didn't get to use the hot tub as we didn't have time to light it. But everything else was brilliant. The Cotswolds is a lovely place to travel around too.

We stayed at Folly View to celebrate a big birthday. There were 10 adults, a toddler, a baby and a dog. The accommodation was ideal for us as each bedroom had a bathroom. The living space was also excellent with a big dining table and a lounge with lots of seating. The kitchen contained plenty of the necessary equipment to cook for that number and the necessary cutlery and crockery for us all. We really enjoyed the hot tub, games in the garden, the walk to the river and a birthday barbeque. The welcome pack was lovely and the attention to detail was impressive.
It really made the time together special.

Stayed with family for Christmas. The barn is large and spacious with 12 bedrooms all with an ensuite or dedicated bathroom (all with showers or a shower over the bath) which is one of the reasons we chose this property. All rooms are spacious with comfy beds and bathrooms are modern. This is one large bedroom that has a wet room so ideal for less mobile guests. Kitchen is large and the table is square which is much more sociable than a long table and easily seats 12. Boot room / utility great to keep all the boots and coats and there is an additional fridge which was really useful. There is a hot tub that is heated with logs which we thought might be tricky but it worked really well you just had to set it going an hour or two before you planned to use it. There were additional logs available at a cost if required. The play barn was great with table tennis and the biggest fooseball table we've ever seen! Other barns / houses are in view but didn't hear any noise from anyone else. We had a brilliant family Christmas in this property and would highly recommend it.

This beautiful barn conversion was the perfect base for our family holiday, 8 adults, 5 children plus two dogs. It was spacious and comfortable and provided everything that you need-a real home from home. The views are beautiful and the shared barn next door is the perfect place for kids to get together and play ping-ping, table football or just to hang out and make friends. We were also incredibly lucky with the weather ☀️☀️Our kids made a video which you can see on Stay Cotswolds FB page, it shows what a great time we had!

11 friends for a weekend of fun , great food and laughter.
Perfect venue.
So.much space for all and everyone had their own bathroom !
The hot tub was great, but we couldn't find the full safety instructions.
You made need to bring a few basic items with you, we ran out of the small amount of washing up liquid that was left and tea bags for example.
Looking forward to another celebration so we can come back to an amazing spot.

The cottage was ideal for all the family. We had all 6 bedrooms filled and everyone had the privilege of their own shower and they all worked well. In fact everything worked well. No problems. We were even left a few goodies like wine and cheese to make us welcome. Thank you. Used the BBQ facilities which were fine. Hot tub is good but not sure always want to light a fire and wait an hour. Great having a games room and had a bit of fun even on a rainy day. Plenty of pubs and restaurants not too far away. Plenty of nice places to visit from around 5 minutes to an hour. A good holiday.

Folly View was the perfect location for a large family gathering including a dog. It was large, comfortable, extremely well equipped and we were able to take advantage of the property’s large garden and hot tub. All bedrooms being en-suite was a bonus, having a large kitchen diner, separate lounge and utility/boot room made the stay very relaxed. There’s plenty of parking, patio space and garden furniture too. A welcome pack including food and drink was a nice touch. The location was great, peaceful and with lovely views and we won’t hesitate to return in the future.

We had booked Folly View for our family weekend away ranging from 8 months to 90 years! With so many of us it is often hard to get the right amount of bedrooms and bathrooms but Folly View was perfect. Especially with the disabled access room which made things easier for my dad.
The location along the river was great for a stroll/paddle board / kayak to the pub and the on site facilities meant we didn’t need to go anywhere else.
Highly recommend

We had a wonderful stay at Folly View last weekend for our family get together. There was plenty of space for us all to be together but a separate snug for the younger family members to unwind was most welcome. Our teenagers also made good use of the games room on site too. The downstairs bedroom with accessible shower was perfect for us, as was the boot room, and being able to bring our little dog and let her run in the enclosed garden. We just wish we had been able to stay longer!

We loved our weekend at Folly View! The house is beautifully presented and has all the tools for a great chilled weekend. The location is perfect for walking to the river Thames and waking up in the countryside.
The kitchen is a great space for entertaining and has all the equipment needed for cooking if you are staying in. The hot tub is a great feature and the garden is perfect for dogs and children to run around.
We will definitely recommend to our friends and family and consider booking the house again in the future.

We celebrated with our son and daughter and their families--11 of us in all. The five grandchildren range in age from 12-19, 2 boys and three girls. Folly View proved ideal for us: -a bathroom with each bedroom, a sitting room we could all fit in easily and watch pictures of family history together (!), spacious kitchen and dining room. We particularly liked the square dining table as we could all sit round and see each other-this made conversation easy and was great for playing games. We made good use of the hub with its table tennis and table football and the hot tub, but we did find the hot tub took ages to heat up and could be difficult to light.
We found the folder of information provided very helpful. We did not have any problem while there, but appreciated the contacts given and what we should do if a problem arose.
Altogether a happy and memorable stay at Folly View.

I booked folly view for our family reunion as my son & family came to England from Australia first time for 9 years & we had a brilliant time , it’s a gorgeous place, very well equipped couldn’t wish for anything better.
I would recommend Folly View to our friends & definitely will be going back we all had a fabulous break from the youngest to the oldest.

The house is perfect, with all your needs considered within its facilities and accessories. Immaculate.
We were 14 ladies for a joint birthday celebration, and it catered for us beautifully. We stayed in both nights just to enjoy the space, the hot tub and the amazing surroundings. Fabulous walks and lots of lovely villages around too. Thoroughly recommend.

We highly recommend Folly View for a family holiday. Quality accommodation in great location in walking distance of the river. Great to have the use of 2 paddle boards by the river.
Nearby pub offers lovely food and views by the river.

We are a family of 10 adults, a baby and 3 small dogs and Folly View was perfect. Often it is easy to find the number of bedrooms but not a living room we can all be in comfortably together. This property had a large living room which allowed all of us to sit comfortably and kitchen- diner that made meal times a joy The property is very well appointed and the kitchen utensils etc all plentiful and in very good condition. There was even a spare fridge in the boot room, and snuggle blankets in the lounge. The location was great as we weren't far from some very excellent restaurants and pubs, as well as 5 mins from a tesco and waitrose.
The outside garden was excellent and once we closed the driveway gates the dogs were able to run freely round the space without disturbing anyone else. A fabulous stay for our yearly family retreat.

We had a wonderful visit. There was plenty of space for 3 families including 4 children and 2 dogs. The children loved the huge garden, football field and the hub barn and we all enjoyed the hot tub. We had a fabulous walk along the Thames to Ye Old Swan. We were lucky with the weather so we stayed fairly local and loved visits to the Folly near Faringdon and NT Badbury which was spectacular with bluebells. It was really great for a relaxing family weekend. Folly View was very well equipped - one comment we would have is, there weren't any beer glasses!

We had such a fantastic stay at folly view! The property is a great size, has been beautifully decorated to be both comfortable yet also feel luxurious, and it was exceptionally well equipped. The home itself provided a great base and the immediate surroundings were great for roaming. Caroline was really helpful whenever we needed her too. Can highly recommend and we plan to come back again!

Awesome stay at folly view. Completely lived up to expectations. All rooms were large and had lovely interior. The kitchen dining area was spacious and hosted all our group dinners brilliantly. Hot tub was a huge plus although we struggled to get completely the right temperature. All in all a brilliant stay!

Folly View is a beautifully appointed building that is ideal for family and friend get togethers. All rooms and facilities were perfect in terms of size and comfort. The outside space is also great.
We did find however, that the hot water ran out once we had all showered and washed up in the morning - 11 adults and 2 toddlers. We mentioned this to the property manager who immediately got the boiler re-set, but the same thing happened on each of the following days. By late afternoon/early evening however, the water was hot again.

We’re a group of old school friends who do a cotswolds each year, however this was delayed due to covid. The barn was worth the wait, all rooms so nicely decorated with everyone having their own bathroom. Such a nice peaceful location.
They left us some treats, red and white wine, cookies, eggs, butter, crumpets, tea, coffee and sugar - that was a lovely surprise.
We had an issue with frozen pipes meaning problems with heating/hot water but a plumber was called out and they tried to resolve it as fast as possible.
We have stayed in many cottages in the cotswolds but are all agreed we’ll be back to Folly View next year.

Great space and comfortable. Good facilities all round, internal and external. Would like to see more cleaning underneath and behind furnishings before arrival; especially important when toddlers are in the party. Although we were 12 plus 3 toddlers, we never felt on top of each other. Service from property manager ahead of our visit was excellent.

A very well designed and equipped barn conversion. A light, bright and comfortable place for a large family re-union. Facilities included an outside wood burner and hot tub. An added bonus is that the farm has direct access to the River Thames which enabled us to kayak down the river!
The house is very well equipped to a high standard and customer service was excellent.

I booked Folly View for my birthday weekend. It was important to me that all of my friends had a lovely room and their own space as well as there being plenty of space to all get together. Folly View was absolutely perfect! Every room was lovely with either an en-suite or bathroom just outside. The kitchen dining area is wonderful for cooking. chatting, eating and drinking. The outside space is also so well thought out. It is all high end hotel standard accommodation but with comfort of it being our home for the weekend. Everything was spotless, the views are wonderful. There are other rental properties on the farm but they are far enough away for it to feel very private. All of my friends LOVED it and kept asking me 'how did you find this place?'. We were an adult group but would love to go back with the kids. They would love hanging out in upstairs bean bag room! If you are looking for somewhere to stay for a group get together I really cannot recommend Folly View more highly.
StayCotswold were also extremely helpful throughout the booking process and I would definitely use them again.

24 of us booked 3 properties and used the Folly View as our base for dinner each evening. The houses are all beautifully fitted out and very comfortable and spacious. Perfectly located for short or long walks, trips to the pub and generally relaxing with friends and family.

Our family, 8 adults, 2 children and our dog stayed for 4 nights in August. The space is fabulous inside and out, large open plan kitchen/family room, separate lounge, 6 en suite bedrooms and outside the terrace area is just perfect. There are other properties around you but you are not aware of them at all as it is so peaceful. We would highly recommend this property and would gladly stay here again in the future

We booked for 12 family members to stay after a long time in lockdown. It was an amazing space to share allowing all families enough space to relax as well as a beautiful large kitchen where we all congregated and enjoyed meals together. The barn is beautifully decorated and gave us all the home comforts we needed.

The outside space is perfect with stunning views and very peaceful even with other properties surrounding. The hot tub is a great bonus too!

We would love to return when we have the opportunity.
