Fosseside House is an excellently located, double fronted holiday home in Bourton-on-the-Water. The property boasts contemporary decor, ample space and even has a games room! It is a wonderful home away from home to share with loved ones whilst exploring the Cotswolds!

We was all very pleased with the Fossieside house we have been to bourton on the water in November for about 20 years and have stayed in various cottages and houses and this was one of the best and hope to use this company in the future

We stayed at Fosseside House for 6 nights. It's so homely and welcoming, with everything you could possibly need inside. The kitchen is excellently equipped to cook a full roast dinner! Several of us needed to work from home for a couple of days during the stay and the house was big enough to let us do that, with no problems with WiFi etc - we even had a room each!
We had minor issues with the outside lights, but Eileen went excellent and arranged for someone to fix them before the end of our stay.

It's an easy 5-10 min walk into Bourton-on-the-Water, with easy access to other walks, as well as roads to other locations within the Cotswolds.

I would highly recommend this house and we will certainly stay there again, if we've in the area!

We had a fantastic week at Fosseside House. There were ten of us and we weren't on top of each other - plenty of room to be together but find space when needed. The games room provided hours of fun and everything worked as it should - there were no frustrations.

The location is brilliant for exploring the Cotswolds. Obviously there's Bourton just a short walk away, but Stow, Moreton, Chipping Camden and Diddly Squat are all within 25 mins drive maximum - that was plenty to keep us occupied in a week which was very chilled anyway.

A couple fo things were misse din the cleaning, hence the 4 out of 5 score there, but it's a big place and it's only human to miss somethings. But this is a very minor complaint, it certainly didn't detract from the wonderful week at Fosseside.

Family gathering to celebrate my mums 80th birthday for 9 people. House was very well equipped with everything you could wish for. Home from home. House was large enough that people could spread out and not feel on top of each other but still maintained its cosy feel. Games room was a bonus for the teenagers and oldies alike! Its only a 10 min walk into the heart of the village which has an abundance of cafés, restaurants and shops. Its a bonus to be able to leave the car at home and venture out on foot.
House does need a bit of TLC on the outside i.e. paint peeling on windows and broken glass window in the lounge. Its also quite near a busy junction into the village and does not have any double glazing. So, if you prefer total silence then it may not be for you.
Apart from the odd grumble the house was absolutely perfect for us and would defiantly recommend and stay again.

It is lovely to know that the house is in a good location and you can walk into the heart of the village which has an abundance of cafes, restaurants and shops. We would like to inform you that the property owner had already closed the house off in January 2025 so that they can replace the wooden windows with double glazed units. We look forward to welcoming you back to the Cotswolds soon.

Just returned from a fantastic long weekend to celebrate my Mum's 80th Birthday as a family. The house was spotless on arrival and the welcome pack was hugely appreciated, and a lovely touch. Fosseside House was ideal for our weekend away and excellently equipped. It felt really warm and welcoming on arrival and throughout our stay, particularly with the weather turning. On arrival we were notified of a slight flood in the driveway, following which the owner immediately attended to inspect and resolve, which was reassuring. Due to an issue with one of our cars on check out, we were able to stay at the house a little while longer which wasn't an issue and our property manager was extremely understanding. Perfect location, with just a short walk into Bourton-on-the-Water and plenty of space to park multiple cars in the driveway. I would highly recommend a short stay at Fosseside House with family/friends.

Well where do I start! We have been to Bourton on the water before and were enchanted by its beauty and Fosseside House just added to our wonderful week. The location was brilliant for walking into the very busy village so we could leave the car at home. The house certainly lived up to its pictures! It was a great size for our party of 9 and had everything we needed (possibly another fan on the very hot days)
The kitchen was well equipped with everything you could need. The furnishings were good quality and well maintained. The garden was private but could have had a bigger grass area for the little ones to run around in (that almost feels like nitpicking)
All in all it was a wonderful week in a lovely house within walking distance of a quaint village.

While the property has many positive attributes, our experience was marred by a few issues that could be easily addressed. The house's entrance was somewhat challenging to locate due to its narrow access and small signage. Upon arrival, we were surprised by the abundance of spider webs adorning the front porch, creating an unintentional Halloween-like atmosphere. As my wife has arachnophobia, we had to locate a broom to clear the webs ourselves—a task we feel should have been handled by the cleaning team prior to our arrival.

Despite these initial setbacks, the house itself is excellent. The spacious layout comfortably accommodated our group of seven, with ample rooms for everyone. The kitchen was clean and well-equipped, and all televisions functioned properly. We particularly enjoyed the garden seating area, which offered a pleasant, private outdoor space shielded from the street.
The property's location is convenient, situated close to the main town with numerous dining options nearby. However, we would have appreciated more fans throughout the house, especially during the summer months, as only one was provided.

While the overall experience was positive, we believe that improved housekeeping, particularly addressing the spider issue and providing additional fans, would significantly enhance guests' comfort. With these minor improvements, we would wholeheartedly recommend this property to others seeking a comfortable and well-located accommodation for larger groups.

We are sorry to hear that you felt that the porch needed brushing down, the owner confirms that they had used the front porch to access the property the day before your arrival and does not recall noticing lots of spider webs however, we appreciate that they can quickly appear. Our stay at Fosseside House couldn't have been better. The house easily accommodated 10 adults and the great weather allowed us to make use of the garden. Each room is stylish and clean, there is ample off road parking and the location allowed for an easy stroll into town.

Fantastic accommodation, all rooms beautifully decorated and furnished, lots of space, very well equipped. Great location. Would definitely recommend and book again. Very minor points, which didn't detract from the enjoyment of our stay - could do with mirror in the main bathroom, twin room a little snug for two adults.

We rented the house for a family birthday celebration. It was perfect for us. Spotlessly clean; it provided us with everything we needed for a fantastic weekend (including a games room). A short walk away from the centre of Bourton. Would 100% recommend without hesitation. We will definitely book again

We had a great stay at Fosseside which comfortably coped with our family of 10 adults and 2 babies. Spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. A short stroll from the middle of town and a great base to explore the Cotswolds.

We’ve just returned from a wonderful Xmas get together with family from across the globe. Fosseside was a perfect location so close to Bourton; an easy walk for young children with a playground nearby. The house is beautiful, well equipped and oh so comfy. The well equipped kitchens helped make catering for 10 on Christmas Day (almost) enjoyable! The bedrooms are very comfortable and quiet. The booking company and hosts were very responsive to our requests. Would definitely highly recommend and have already passed on details to friends.

The house is beautiful, tastefully decorated, in excellent condition & has really comfortable beds!
It was very clean & well organised with plenty of crockery, cutlery & utensils for cooking meals for large numbers.
There was an issue with the heating timer but this was sorted out very quickly. Contact with the owner was great, very responsive & the lovely Dimi came to solve the issue & have the house warming up quickly. He also brought us wood for the fire as well as popping out to get us fire lights & matches.
We would happily stay here again.

The location was perfect, 10 minute walk from the high street. The house was warm and clean - comfortably fit all 10 of us with lots of rooms and extras like the games room. Modern style and a comfy feel for the autumn months.
Would definitely return and recommend.
