Located within minutes' walk from the bustling market square in Stow-on-the-Wold, Gisleburtus House is little haven from which to explore the North Cotswolds. With beautifully designed interior decor, high end finishings and private parking, this property is a lovely home away from home!

Gisleburtus House is a lovely and roomy apartment, beautifully appointed with comfortable furnishing. The primary bedroom is huge with loads of wardrobe space and a comfortable bed. The only real complaint is that the bath towels were small and it would be great if larger towels were provided.

The apartment is perfectly located in Stow, with the bonus of an accessible parking space.

Thought apartment would be fab from website but photos honestly don't do it justice as stunning and so spacious and comfortable. Waking up to snow on first day was so Christmassy and whole week was perfect for our Christmas shopping break.

The Sheep, Porch House, The Bell, Stow Lodge Hotel and The Queens all great for food or a drink and Stow is so central, making it the perfect base. Thanks to Calum for very prompt help with slight issue. All in all can't fault our stay. Many thanks.

10/10 would recommend! The pictures are beautiful so I really hoped it would be as nice as expected, however on arrival I was blown away with the thought and care that has gone in to this place.
Every fixture, fitting, lighting and decoration has no expense spared, it felt like such a treat to stay here.
As two couple staying we had no issues with space it is deceptively large. Lots of seating options, nice areas to play games, large enough kitchen to comfortably work in which is open plan to socialise.
The main living area is a fantastic space, comfortable and inviting.
Both bedrooms were beautiful, with the smaller one being perfectly adequate for a couple and what it lost in size was made up for in gorgeous decoration and a comfy bed.
The larger room is stunning and like being in a hotel.
We didn't realise when we booked that we are in a tucked away location but still on top of a lovely high street with everything you need for a weekend or more, shops, pubs, restaurants, coffee shops.

My only comment would be, this is an apartment with ‘neighbours’ below who I believe live there. Due to this, I wouldn’t recommend the apartment to people who enjoy late night music and dancing which may cause too much noise.
Otherwise it is an absolute gem of an apartment and well worth a booking.

We had the wow factor when we walked into the apartment! It's big and spacious, very clean and feels luxurious, super place to stay. However, through no fault of the owners, my sleep was severely disturbed by the church clock which chimes on the hour day and NIGHT! The first night I heard every hour. I bought myself some earplugs which did help but as a light sleeper this was a bit of a nightmare for me. Because of this, sadly we would not stay again. However, it did not bother my husband and daughter.

Being very picky, the kettle could do with descaling!

This lovely little flat exceeded our expectations. From start to finish the company could not have been more helpful. The accommodation was superb and we could not find fault with anything. Some non slip stickers in the bath might be an idea, as I found it quite slippery getting out of the shower. Lovely welcome pack to put you on till you can do a shop. I would highly recommend, great base to explore from

Fantastic location very close to the centre of Stow on the Wold but was still quiet and peaceful. Beautifully decorated apartment keeping the traditional aspects but modern at the same time. We had everything we needed in the apartment. We loved playing cards at the games table one night. As a couple with our son and his partner having an en-suite each was invaluable. I do like a visitors book though, usually get lots of information from other guests. The milk, butter and other essentials were welcome. We would recommend and stay again, good company to deal with.

We had a fabulous few days at Huntington Court in the heart of Stow on the Wold. The property is exactly as described and very well appointed. It had everything we need and was very comfortable. The hosts were helpful and responsive.

Great location , beautiful apartment . The property was surprisingly quiet even though off one of the main roads through Stow.
Great property host as needed to contact them with a query , very accommodating.
Lovely welcome pack and great facilities extremely large apartment with lovely furnishings .
Could do with a mirror to do make up and hair near a plug in the main bedroom but has a great mirror on the wardrobe, just couldn't get hairdryer to reach to sit in front of, definitely didn’t spoil anything just something to maybe consider .
Gisleburtus has one parking space but the Stay Cotswold Team in Stow directed us to places to park a second car , which was parked for free a short walk away .
Really enjoyed our stay and hopefully will be back next year .

Excellent base for Longborough Opera and for exploring the Cotswolds in general. Well equipped, and relatively quiet for such a central location. Suggested improvements:
- Please provide a plastic washing-up bowl. With just 3 persons, it was pointless wasting energy and water by using the dishwasher;
- Please provide a tea-cosy. Luckily, we brought our own;
- Please check battery status in all remote controls. We were unable to open the velux windows remotely during the hottest spell of 2024 so far (even after replacing the batteries), and didn't wish to forcibly open them in case we caused damage! Luckily, StayCotswold contacted Maintenance, and he was able to resolve the situation (forcible opening!);
- There is damp in the Master Bedroom en-suite between the right hand basin and the base of the bath - needs keeping an eye on....

Regarding information for guests, we visited quite a few establishments in Stow for food and beverages:
- Breakfast - we would recommend Lucy's (so friendly; good homemade food) and The Cotswold Farm (the best scrambled eggs!);
- Coffee - Hackett's was the best of 3 places tried!
- Dinner - The Porch House and The Old Butchers served excellent food in the evening.
- Real ale (our weakness!) - Queen's Head.

I recently stayed here with my husband and two teenage children and we loved it! It’s a great size, beautifully decorated, and right in the middle of town but tucked back. We could walk to any number of bakeries, restaurants, shops, a farmers market within minutes. I highly recommend this house to couples/ small families!

Fantastic property, super stylish and very comfortable. Lovely and quiet despite being off the main road through Stow. A perfect location for mooching around Stow’s lovely shops. Don’t miss out on the excellent bargains in Stow’s charity shops - really good quality stuff! The Stag’s bar was perfect for a few hours of cribbage with G&T’s whilst the rain came down. The Hive was a fabulous place for breakfast. Wouldn’t hesitate to return or recommend.

We loved everything about this apartment. It is clean and comfortable, stylishly decorated and well located for exploring the Cotswolds. The booking process is easy, the instructions are clear and make checking in and out a breeze, and the eggs, bread milk, juice and butter that were left for us was a very thoughtful touch. And the bath towels are big and soft :) Thanks for a wonderful stay!

I decided to take my mum to the Cotswolds to celebrate her 75th birthday. I chose Gisleburtus House as it looked spacious with lovely interior design and a great location. I was absolutely delighted on entering the property to see that it looked as good, if not better than the photographs. This is a very well designed property with ample space for two couples. It was just my mum and I so we felt quite spoilt with the space, along with having lovely en suites each. The attention to detail is fantastic, down to the art work, the furniture and the quality of the facilities. The place was spotless and the towels and bedding were of good quality. So much so that my mum checked the make of the pillows on her bed and ordered them for her own home whilst we were in the Cotswolds as she slept that well! The location is perfect, right in the centre of stow with a private parking space. We appreciated the welcome breakfast package of eggs, fresh bread, milk etc which set us up for a day of sightseeing.
Do not hesitate to book Gisleburtus House. I will certainly be going again!

We had an excellent stay at Gisleburtus house! Was a great, central location to explore the Cotswolds- great to be in the middle of Stow and be able to walk to shopping, meals, etc - and easy access to some great hikes and other villages as well! The flat was well appointed, spacious, modern, and clean while also having Cotswolds charm. We would stay again in a heartbeat!

The apartment was stunning. As we opened the door we were amazed by the shear size of the property and beautiful decor throughout. We were sceptical about staying in an Apartment rather than the traditional chocolate box Cottage, although I can definitely say this place did not disappoint! Without doubt we will definitely return.

We had a fabulous week at Giselburtus House. Perfectly located in the centre of Stow, easy private parking was a huge bonus. The house was immaculate and beautifully decorated. Everything we could have needed was provided and the bread, milk, butter and eggs were a welcome surprise. Would not hesitate to stay here again, it was amazing.

The perfect hideaway in Stow - easy to walk to everything but quiet location and great to have a parking spot right out front! We loved our stay and that the kitchen was stocked with a few essentials, which fed us breakfast multiple mornings!

A spacious apartment located in the centre of Stow on the Wold and set back from the Main Street. Quiet and with adequate parking. The apartment has many design features and is finished to a high specification which made for a comfortable retreat after a day exploring the many towns and villages within easy reach of Stow. It has all the amenities you would need and extras like bathrobes and a welcome pack of bread, eggs, milk and fruit juice was much appreciated. Would definitely stay at Huntington Courtyard again.
Tips: The Old Bakery in Stow is well worth a visit for light meals and especially the cream tea. The Thursday market in Stow is also well worth a visit to sample local produce and delicacies.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The interior decoration was really tastefully done. With lovely high ceilings and spacious rooms. We particularly appreciated the items left for our arrival milk,eggs,butter and fresh orange. The location is great, with parking being a great added bonus. We would definitely recommend the Huntington Courtyard.

What a truly wonderful apartment. Located in the heart of the town, just a short stroll around the corner to the main square. A very private location with quiet neighbours who were very friendly. The added advantage of an allocated parking space. I have a very large car, and in the past have struggled with parking at some other stays. This was not an issue at Huntingdon Courtyard. The kitchen was very well equipped for eating in, with everything you need, top quality items and appliances. Comfortable beds with super bedding made for a good nights sleep. The owner has obviously invested a lot on the fixtures and fittings, a very stylish interior. Located very close to the church therefore you can here the bells. That is the only minor negative observation from a wonderful stay.

Our stay at your property was excellent in every way, the apartment was immaculately decorated attention to detail was superb, and very comfortable, cleanliness 100%. In fact everything you could possibly want.

We were also left a lovely small hamper of food.
