I booked this for a short stay with a friend and it was perfect. The property was fresh and clean, with a lovely welcome hamper supplied including essentials like, bread, eggs and butter. The log burner came in useful given the time of year that we stayed and as we choose to have meals at the cottage and watch movies in the living room. We both particularly liked the attention to detail of a selection of pillows of varying firmness on the beds and found the beds themselves to be super comfy.

A couple of minor suggestions, there was unfortunately no cloth or anything available to wipe up the kitchen sides after cooking, which would have be beneficial, fortunately we happened to have some antibacterial wipes with us. Some additional cleaning supplies would have been useful. Furthermore while there was clear instructions regarding rubbish in the welcome pack, we found the internal kitchen bin to be small and didn't have a bin bag, I would suggest perhaps a larger more practical bin with bin bags supplied. Lastly it was unclear which wheelie bins belonged to the property. These could benefit from being clearly labelled or marked as I don't think they were left in the location specified in the welcome information. .

Location wise this worked for us as we spent the majority of our time at the cottage and were willing to undertaken a long walk to Burton-on-the-Water and other areas of interest. Although there was nothing on the doorstep so to speak, so no ability to walk to a shop for supplies, this wasn't an issue for us as the nearest Co-op was only 5mins in the car.

Overall an enjoyable and peaceful stay, thank you.

I had high expectations of this cottage as I knew it was newly renovated. I have been in the Cotswolds on several occasions and used this booking company before.
However there were obviously a few snagging items to be addressed. The damp patch upstairs, the missing top to the tap in the bathroom .
A few rental things also , a microwave would be useful , a brush to sweep the floors and a vacuum( the one upstairs does not work) .it will not take much to turn it into a 5 star property ! Also , it boasts a small patch of garden ( unusual in the Cotswolds) . Therefore it should be worthy of sitting in !!, . Remove the weeds and cut the grass and ensure the rubbish has been removed regularly !! I’d say it needs managing a bit better !,
Also advise people better of the high sided bath and the uneven , narrow stair . It could be a hazard for older people .

We loved our September stay at The Old Post Office. A good base to be able to travel to some of the most beautiful parts of The Cotswolds. The cottage was cosy and had everything we needed, it’s a shame there wasn’t a little pub nearby but it was set in a lovely little hamlet and was very quiet at night. We will definitely be back, but perhaps to a different location we’ve not yet explored!

We had a lovely time at the cottage. It had just about everything one needed for a peaceful, comfortable stay.
The village is quiet and feels a million miles away from anywhere, but in reality is just 15 minutes from Stow and just about everywhere else one would want to visit in the Cotswolds.
The cottage felt brand new; had been decked out tastefully (look at the photos). A microwave oven would have been handy, but not essential. A slip mat for the bath might be a consideration. BTW, the shower is the best shower we have ever had in a rental! It might also help protect the cottage's crockery if there was a 'protective mat' for the lovely Belfast sink (just a thought).
The small garden could have done with a tidy and the grass cut as the weather was fantastic for early September.
Communication between the owner , Stay Cotswolds and ourselves was fantastic.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Old Post Office Cottage. The place is adorable and our host left us a wonderful welcome basket that we thoroughly enjoyed. One thing to be aware of - the stairwell is steep and a bit tricky to navigate.

Everything was perfect.
The only thing I can Say..
We couldn’t clean after our meals in the kitchen because hoover is not present in the house.
Also the towel were not in off for four ,without the washing machine was a bit annoying..
But we had a nice moment anyway.

I stayed here with my 2 teenage children. It is a lovely cottage, had everything we needed (more hangers needed for the wardrobe and no hair dryer though) A lovely hamper left for us. The cottage was immaculate.
It’s in a quiet area but a good location for explaining other areas.
We visited Diddly Squat, Sudeley castle, Lacock abbey, broadway, Bourton-on the water, Bath and Snowshill Manor.

Small details like being worried about staining the counters and the towels. Beds that were a little on the harder side. And wishing there were more than one hand towel for 4 persons for a 4 days stay, dissappear in all the perfection of this place. The Old Post Office is a little gem. The cleanliness was immaculately ✨️ The quality of the bedlinen and towels was delightful and a lovely welcome package was the icing on the cake. We loved staying there, and would absolutely do it again in a heart beat.

The cottage is lovely and in a peaceful location. Everything is as lovely as it looks in the pictures. We had a peaceful stay in a quiet location. The owners were very helpful during our stay as well. If you have mobility issues, the stairs and bath may be difficult for you.

The Old Post Office Church Westcote Cotswolds is absolutely exquisite and perfectly captures all the charms you’d expect when visiting such a beautiful part of England
The interior is of very high quality decor with contemporary furniture and fittings and has been lovingly restored to the upmost degree
whilst maintaining the feel of a typical stunning Cotswold cottage
It sits in a gorgeous little hamlet but is only 2 miles from Daylesford organic farm and shop along side a Bamford beauty spa and shop
It’s an easy and quick drive to some wonderful historic popular villages too such as Chipping Campden , Cirencester, medieval Village of Burford
I’m already preparing for my next magical stay at The Old Post Office !
