Rabbit is a perfect place to stay whilst visiting the Cotswolds. The property has everything that you need to enjoy your stay. Quiet, comfortable and warm. Thank you Mark and Jenny for all your efforts to make our's and everyone else's holiday special.

Just back from a lovely 4 night stay with our 1 year our daughter and dog!
Well equipped and in the perfect location for many of the places we wanted to visit. Owners were more than accommodating. Lovely views and walks right on the door step.
Would love to go back and visit again!

Having lived in the area this beautiful cottage provided the perfect base to revisit the area and catch up with friends.

Rabbit provided us with all we needed and much more. It was beautifully organised and stylishly decorated to provide a real home from home.

The location is so peaceful. We very quickly relaxed and our long weekend though busy allowed us to completely recharge. There was nothing in the cottage to complain about, just praise for a beautifully furnished and decorated property. The bed was so comfortable, after a busy day our heads hit the pillow and we were soon in the land of nod.

Jenny and Mark were perfect hosts and on hand if we had any questions. Our stay was perfectly timed to enjoy watching the sheep dog puppies which could have killed many hours had we not had so many plans. I’m sure they will all find great homes if Mark can bear to part with them.

Thank you for a wonderful stay. Jenny and Mark should be very proud of what they have created in a beautiful part of the country with some many options available to while away the hours. We left feeling quite home sick for our old home and the friends we left about 25 years ago.

Would highly recommend The Red Lion at Long Compton, great food choices and really friendly staff, The George Townhouse in Shipston on Stour is another really great hotel providing great food and staff. Bruern Farms Shop and Cafe, they do an amazing breakfast and great cake! Lots to keep you occupied in the area so a great base.

We loved Staying here as the place was tranquil and the owner very friendly. It was a great place to have days out from and explore different locations across Cotswolds.

My husband and I stayed at The Rabbit for one week in May 2024. We were blessed with the weather. The cottage was perfect for our stay. The owners live on the farm and were very friendly and keen to help. The cottage is very spacious, clean, with fantastic amenities and has been very tastefully decorated using a wildlife and nature theme, in keeping with the name of the cottage. The location is great, Charlbury is accessible via a short walk (25 minutes) or a very short drive with some lovely restaurants and a deli too. We didn't need to use the railway station in Charlbury but it is handy to know you can take the train to Oxford or London from there. Would highly recommend to others, we can't wait to return.

Rabbit is a perfect retreat with the most welcoming hosts. The cottage is spotlessly clean and has everything you need for cooking. Country walks are easily accessible from the property and the surrounding area has plenty to offer. Truly a home away from home, we couldn't fault a thing.

Needs bigger TV, Freezer, wider range of cutlery / crockery, tea pot & greater selection of saucepans.
We’re not used to underfloor heating & found ourselves chilly when sitting. These are only small things.

Overall it was lovely.

We had a great time at Rabbit. There are a few points for consideration by the owners. A bigger TV in the lounge, a TV in the bedroom. A hook on the back of the bathroom door for a robe. Salt, pepper & olive oil/oil for cooking. To possibly consider an additional chair/small sofa or larger sofa as the one in place now is a bit small for two adults wanting to relax and watch some TV after a long day exploring the beautiful Cotswolds.

We had booked both Fox and Rabbit for a family get away and having the two together was perfect. The location was wonderful and both Fox and Rabbit are beautifully furnished and have everything you need to a great stay.
