Old Sheepcote was great. We stayed for 2 nights with friends and although the decor is not the most modern it absolutely fit our criteria. We needed somewhere to chill, a big dining space, good garden and outdoor space and loads of parking which it definitely provided. Good value for money compared to lots of others we looked at!

Everything was as expected, we didn't encounter any difficulty for the reservation or to find the house. The Old Sheepcote accommodation is set in a quiet place and is very well equipped. We recommand it for families or for a group of friends.

We recently stayed at the Old Sheepcote for a second time. The cottage is well equipped and provides a great base for exploring the area. The kitchen and bathrooms are starting to look a bit tired, but the cottage remains excellent value for money and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a lovely time at Sheepcot. This was our 2nd stay. We find it very comfortable and well equipped. Excellent for a big family. We arrived in -5 temperature and the snow had layed, which made it very Christmassy. Broadway looked amazing with the Christmas lights and snowy scenery. Thank you

Lovely house but could do with snags being fixed.

Lovely, big family house.
Needs a little updating and because of that feels unclean in places.
No lock on toilet door.
Ensuite door doesn't shut.
Duvets far too hot for summer.
Towels far too small
Main bathroom feels a little unclean as it could do with some updating.
Lovely large kitchen with lots of utensils, but no tin opener.
Outside lights didn't work and several light bulbs out in kitchen.
Very close to neighbours, and central courtyard that this house doesn't have access to. However the back garden is Lovely with good seating area so you don't feel overlooked and makes the property.
Can hear traffic noise in the garden/lounge when door open.
Overall a nice house, but tired round the edges, but good value and hosts were very good at communicating.

We had a wonderful stay at Sheepcote. A beautiful house with lovely private garden and conservatory.
As all 7 of us are over 70 it was helpful to have all accommodation on one level.
However we did note a couple of concerning issues in regard to safety and we did think that the property was in need of an overhaul of its equipment some of which were not working properly.
However I will address those specifically with the rental agent who I did try to contact from the property but who never returned my call.
We did need to drive in to Broadway as the foot paths in places were not well defined.
All in all it was a lovely property to stay in if planning to stay on sight or to drive out for sight-seeing.

Lovely pre-Christmas break.
The cottage was really spacious, decorated nicely and was really comfortable.
Our dog absolutely loved the garden.
Struggled slightly with our online shop not being able to find us!
The only downside was that the cottage was slightly cold, and the windows in the master bedroom had a lot of condensation, could maybe consider double glazing.
Lovely and quiet location, Broadway is lovely to visit.
We loved our stay and will definitely stay again.

A lovely stay for a get together with 5 friends. We had great weather so the outside space was great including using the conservatory.

The kitchen was spacious well equipped and good for eating and socialising. The lounge area was also comfortable and cosy with starter logs provided although not needed because of the wonderful late September weather that we had.

The communication with the the owners was good, prompt, clear and straightforward ….. especially given the complications of Covid lockdowns and the need to cancel and rebook twice

The accommodation overall was clean and comfortable and met our needs

Broadway was within walking distance with a great choice of restaurants, cafes, shops and things to see and do

A couple of points for the future

As we were a group of five adults, 2 shared the twin room, their feedback was that these beds were not so comfortable to sleep in over the four nights

The step down from the kitchen was a little tricky at times as it was easy to miss …. we put a little tape down to highlight it!

Providing some taxi numbers would be useful …. We used emerald taxis who were very reliable with good customer service …. If a tad expensive!

We all returned home having had a great few days ….. thankyou

We chose the Old Sheepcote as central location for a weekend reunion of old friends. The house provided everything we needed, and we really enjoyed our stay.

Lots of plus points:
- helpful communications from owners, and easy to find
- we had a welcome pack (thank you!)
- plenty of parking space
- great location for exploring the Cotswolds
- three loos!
- plenty of space to spill out into, including a pleasant garden
- great value for money, we thought

The only very slight negative would be that the house is fairly close to the A44, so there's a a bit road noise if you're out in the garden. But that's being fussy.

Overall, thoroughly recommended, and we hope to return one day.

We really enjoyed our stay at Old Sheepcote. The house was very warm and comfortable and had plenty of space for all of us and the two dogs. The kitchen is really well stocked in terms of cookware, and it was great that things like hand soap and toilet paper were provided. Being just a few minutes away from Broadway was perfect as it's such a beautiful village with lots of lovely walks nearby and tea rooms etc. Our only comment is that although the garden is huge and perfect for dogs, it isn't enclosed at all which means you need to keep an eye out to make sure they dont go exploring back to the driveway that leads up to the main road.

Lovely one level cottage with large garden and plenty of parking. Far more spacious than the photos show. Exceptionally clean so we felt very reassured in these COVID times. We weren't expecting any supplies but there was tea, coffee , milk etc plus a welcoming bottle of wine :) Kitchen was well stocked with pans, utensils etc and also double oven and gas range hob. Lots to see nearby but you do need a car. Wouldn't hesitate to book again!

Spacious, well equipped property. Plenty of space for large groups. The kitchen had everything you could need and more. Spotlessly clean (we visited early July 2020 when some COVID 19 restrictions were still in place, so this was more important than ever). The garden is spectacular and provided hours (days!) of fun for my toddler. Well situated for Broadway just a few minutes drive away. Loved it and will be back.

The property layout and location was very good, nice conservatory (although it leaks) good garden space and sitting out, and the customer service excellent. However, there is not enough cutlery even with just 4 guests to clean in the dishwasher, yet plenty of crockery. The en-suite shower is worse than useless, from very cold to scalding hot and very low flow of water. The bathrooms need updating. The duvets were winter weight which meant that they were far too hot for this time of year. There was nowhere to hang outdoor coats, except for a couple of hooks In the toilet by the kitchen. In the bedrooms there was nowhere to hang towels to dry. Finally I was very concerned that despite the additional COVID19 guidance supplied by your firm, that there were no bags for the laundry, upon calling the office we were told to simply leave the linen and towels in the bathroom. This is not a correct procedure to limit the spread of COVID19 as it exposes cleaners to used bed linen and fibre and skin particles in the air, potentially contaminated with the virus. With the exception of updating the bathrooms, the other suggested changes are very low cost to improve the holiday experience, even a new electric shower is not that expensive. We would recommend the property but subject to the above caveats.

The cottage is a little hard to find but we were given excellent instructions. Once inside house is cosy comfortable and clean... a real home from home. Everything you need and more. Large kitchen where we spent the majority of our time due to Storm Dennis, that had all the crockery pots glasses we needed. Surrounding grounds have enough seating in various parts of the garden. Only slight problem if you are disabled there are 2 small steps into the kitchen area from the rest of the house but entry can be gained via the garden through the conservatory. Beautiful place and nearby Broadway is quaint and picturesque. Can recommend The Swan for food and drinks.

We keep coming back as it's perfect for our family to spend time together. My Mum has restricted mobility, but is able to manage the 2 very low steps to the kitchen with assistance. It's easy to keep the living room warm, and there is plenty of room for additional family who live close by to join us for meals.

The cottage is well equipped and has beautiful grounds. It is ideally located to explore the beautiful Cotswolds and the pretty village of Broadway is very close by. There is a large Morrisons supermarket at Evesham which is a short drive away. As everything is on one level it was ideal for the older members of our party. The bedrooms are very nice but could do with a few more coat hangers in the wardrobes. The kitchen is spacious and very well equipped however if could benefit from a deep clean. I removed thick dust from the light fittings over the dining table. The family bathroom looks tired and is in need of renovation. The bath was not particularly clean. The towels provided are very small and there are not enough towel rails to dry towels for 8 people. Aside from the cosmetic issues and cleanliness Old Sheepcote is a great space to spend a family weekend,

Great place for groups with mixed ages. Apart from 2 shallow steps to the kitchen it is all on one level, so suitable for people with limited mobility (so long as they can manage the 2 small steps). Great communal areas for socialising and easy to keep the living room warm for people who feel the cold.
