Overcombe is a wonderful two bedroom seafront apartment has views across the entire bay of Woolacombe and overlooks Combesgate beach, a popular surfing beach one end of Woolacombe Bay. It sleeps four comfortably in two bedrooms. Overcombe is next door to Cliff House.

Never get tired of that amazing view!

Our favourite area to stay in Woolacombe with great views, pretty beach coves and beautiful walks to Morthoe.
Overcombe provides everything you need for a home from home stay, always feel very relaxed there. Fantastic views from the lounge and bedroom, we will be back soon!

We have used Holiday Home Hunter for many years now and the service has always been very friendly and efficient. We have also stayed in Overcombe for many years. The views are spectacular and the apartment is well equipped and cosy. We are looking forward to returning in the near future.

Overcombe is in a wonderful position with fantastic views over the village and beach. It is always spotlessly clean with everything you can possibly want or need. The people who manage it are always very good, nothing is too much trouble. We have bern coming for quite a few years, and will continue to do so

This apartment is in a fantastic location with stunning views along the bay, it's located close to the local amenities and is fully equipped with everything you would need for your holiday.

Had a lovely break in this fantastic property. Great location with amazing views. Property itself was spotlessly clean, comfortable and well equipped. This is the 2nd time we have booked through Holiday Home Hunter and the service is excellent will a really comprehensive level of property/area information provided.

This was our 2nd visit. The property is well equipped and in a great location. Situated at the quieter end of town with beautiful views across the bay. Apartment is very comfortable and we have enjoyed both visits. The property would benefit from some TLC and in depth cleaning in some areas but nothing dreadful to report.

Excellent in every respect. Our sister in law joined us for two nights and she continually remarked about the stunning location and comfort of the flat. New (to us) bathroom lovely and bright.

The flat was clean, comfortable and spacious. Some nice walks can be done from the flat to nearby cliff paths. As others have mentioned, parking is a bit tight, and it is a steep climb from the parking up to the property. But what makes this property special are the views, which are fantastic. We enjoyed many hours just sitting and looking out of the windows, especially when the weather was poor.
Overall, highly recommended, and would happily stay again.

4 adults. Easily accommodated. Stunning views. Storage space for bicycles / boards in garage. It is a walk to both woolacombe & mortehoe but we preferred this location. Would definitely go back

We had a fantastic weeks holiday at Overcombe. The view was breathtaking. The accommodation was very clean and cosy, and had everything in it we needed, It was very comfortable and plenty of space for clothes etc,
We will definitely be going back.

A very comfortable property with stunning views out over the cliffs to the beach and sea. If the weather co-operates the outside seating is perfect for enjoying dinner and the loungers are great for chilling. Location is away from the business of the main beach so is a relaxing place. The property is pretty well equipped - we cooked 5 nights and most mornings. The view from bed is great even when it is raining. When it isn't too windy having the doors open and listening to the sea when in the lounge is a must. We have booked again.

Overcombe is a lovely apartment on the ground floor ( though if you park in allotted parking space there is a full flight of stairs up to the flat , with rail, if your neighbours agree you can access on the level if they’re happy for you to drop off on their drive , this is what we did as Mum s mobility not great) . Once inside there is everything you need, beautifully clean and fantastic sea views. You get the sun morning til night, can watch the sun set on the terrace.
10 min walk along esplanade into Woolacombe and 10 min up the hill to Morthoe. Walking distance to restaurants and pubs. Easy access to coastal paths and other lovely walks.
We had a lovely holiday here would highly recommend, so long as you have good mobility

Overcombe - on the hillside between Woolacombe & Mortehoe - is situated in an idyllic location looking South along the 2 1/2 mile stretch of Woolacombe sands & Sea towards Croyde.
The apartment is well furnished, comfortable & very homely. Very suitable for those who just like to relax, or for the more energetic a perfect place for coastal walking, and for surfer enthusiasts! ( The only possible downside for those advanced in years(?) may be the flight of external steps upto the property.

A lovely apartment well located with terrific views. Access to the one parking space is tricky but manageable. The apartment is comfortable and well equipped as exactly as described and the photos are accurate.

A nice comfortable apartment with excellent views. Well equipped and spacious. The commanding views over Woolacombe are unbeatable.
Parking is tight and requires quite a bit of manoevering that will test your skills.
The approach steps are very steep and lengthy so may be difficult for anyone with mobility issues, well worth the climb though.

Overcombe is a self catering apartment in an idyllic setting with superb views of Woolacombe Bay on the North Devon Coast. The property is part of a small complex built on the hillside between Woolacombe & the small village of Morthoe, and is the perfect Residence in which to relax,unwind, from where there are pleasant walks - and of course swimming! (the only possible downside for the elderly or infirmed are the 25 external steps upto the apartment). I thoroughly recommend this holiday let.

We had another super week in Overcombe. The weather and views were as fabulous/dramatic as ever and we hardly used the car all week! The measures put in place by Holiday Home Hunter as a result of Covid 19 were impressive in their practicality and detail and we felt very safe both in the apartment and out and about.

We were completely overwhelmed by the view from our apartment. The reviews we had read had all mentioned the wonderful scenery but until you experience it for yourselves you will never really know just what a beautiful vista is laid before you. We had most of our meals seated at the dining table overlooking the bay and we never tired of it. Even when the weather was less than clement the views of the sea, beach and hills and dales kept our interest. We enjoyed the locale taking a circular walk starting and ending in Mortehoe and enjoyed lunch and a few drinks at the Chichester pub on a beautiful sunny afternoon followed by tea and cake at the Town House tea garden. The apartment was spacious and very well equipped and the bed was comfortable and again the view from the bedroom was spectacular. We left the windows open at night so that we could listen to the sea. The apartment is in a very quiet area and offered us a peaceful and relaxing sojourn for the week. It was balm for the soul and a lovely place to be. Our memories of this place will be treasured.

This is a wonderful location for a property balcony and views are unbeatable. I think however the property would benefit from some maintenance seemed set up a number of years ago and not much input for a while. For example all the outdoor furniture is past its best and in some cases unusuable . Also inside videos dvds books could all do with an upgrade. Other wise fantastic spot.

Hi, thanks for your constructive review, the owners have asked me to respond and explain that it shows the importance of guests letting us know if things are not functioning or are broken thus giving them the chance to replace or repair. Since your visit the outdoor folding chairs and the DVD player have been replaced and a new TV will be in by 19th July. With regard the DVDs, videos and books it is felt that, although some people now use Netflix or similar to watch TV and films, there are still many guests who enjoy choosing one from the shelves so they will stay. As the new TV may not have a video input then the videos may now go of course. We hope to welcome you again and are pleased that you love Overcombe.

Great location, lovely views.
Didn’t use the car much, great walks from your doorstep.
We have stayed in this apartment before, and though comfortable, it it looked a little tired, and the bed was very creaky.

Excellent position, probably one of the best views in woolacombe.
Nicely furnished cosy apartment, ideal for 2 adults. Downside bed mattress needs replacement very soft.
DVD player did not work.parking is awkward when others apartments are occupied.
Overall Overcombe is lovely place to stay especially if you have great weather.

This is a quality apartment - comfortable, comprehensively equipped and unparalleled views over Woolacombe bay. From the apartment you can easily walk down the road into Woolacombe, or up the hill into Mortehoe village, or down the steps into the sandy bay directly opposite, or access the beautiful North Devon Coastal path. The service from Hunter Holidays was first class, going out of their way to help us with a last minute booking. We would be delighted to return to Overcombe again.
