I think this is the right time I have stayed at Wheatricks now and it is as always a fantastic quiet stay. Clean and well kept. Rob as ever very quick to respond to any queries. I would definitely recommend and will be staying again if available.
If you are looking for some where to just unwind and immerse yourself in nature then this is the place to go. Surrounded by fields and trees, fire up the bbq for dinner and then end your evening with a moonlit bath under the stars. Plenty of lovely farm shops and restaurants a short drive away, long picturesque walks and local activities to see. It’s a must visit.
Customer Service was dealt with by our daughter Nicola Spence who lives in East Meon and this enabled us to see them over the Christmas period. Our other daughter and her husband joined us for the last two nights. We felt that the dining table looked shabby and a table cover would make it look more attractive. We understand and accept that prices are high over the Christmas period
It was great each bedroom having an en suite bathroom. We did however miss a separate toilet that was not is a bedroom. Anything we asked for was not too much effort and we felt valued.
Our stay at the property was very comfortable and we would definitely go there again if we are in the area.
A superb property in a great location, ideally situated to visit numerous places of interest. Lovely local walks on the doorstep. With the recent hot weather, the air conditioning is an absolute bonus. Also as an EV driver, the EV charging on site is sheer convenience.
Fabulous cottage, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. The views across the fields were amazing and we loved relaxing outside. Such a quiet and peaceful location. Our second stay on this complex and we enjoyed both stays very much.
This is the second time we have stayed in Long Meadow. It is an excellent holiday let within a well-planned development. It has a good view of the actual long meadow (about 500m) and countryside beyond. The design of the development keeps the neighbouring barns out of the view and means that the outdoor seating areas are hidden from each other. The site includes a large grass area and a larger wildflower meadow beyond that with a mown path round it - a very nice, gentle 1km stroll. We spotted hares and a deer. We had a comfortable stay. The barn was clean and cool. There was only 1 lamp, so overhead lighting was uncomfortable. There were a few peppercorns, but no salt in the grinder. It would have been nice to have had a bit of colour in the very simple garden, and for the geraniums to be dead- headed outside.
We stayed in The Hide a mezzanine lodge with outside, undercover freestanding bath on the deck. The views over the surrounding farm land were stunning. The lodge was well equipped, we bought in a deli lunch for 2 days and ate out at The Bakery in nearby Petersfield and a function on our other night, hence our stay. Would definitely come again, we’re thinking of coming back with friends to celebrate a big birthday.
