Not our first visit to Urlay Nook and it never disappoints. Ken and Sue are great hosts and make you very welcome. The cottage is always spotless and the welcome pack is very much appreciated after a long journey. Perfectly situated for exploring the Dales and Askrigg has everything you need from shops to pubs. Cannot recommend it highly enough.
Lost count how many times we've stayed here. It's warm, cosy and very well equipped. You can leave the car in the village after arrival and do a huge variety of walks from the door. The village businesses thrive because of the tourists and it's important to use the shop, cafe and 3 pubs whilst you are there. Everything has to be carried to the cottage through the churchyard so ordering online shopping is not a good idea.
