The house was much more spacious than we expected. It was absolutely spotless. Really well stocked with some lovely extra touches which made the stay special. My children are only babies but there is so much for slightly older children - such a great garden with lots of activities and spaces to explore. Communication with Sharon perfect. Really accommodating host. Highly recommend!! We may be back when our kids are older!!

We love Sea Glimpses, so much it’s our fifth year visiting, it feels like a home from home. The house has everything you could need and is a short walk from the beach and the train. The hosts are always very helpful and super friendly, they feel like old friends! We’ll keep coming back!

As a family ranging from 2 to 61, the cottage perfectly met our needs. The children loved the games, toys and beach tackle. We enjoyed the comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and great outdoor facilities. Easy walk to the beaches, close to the train station and nearby park. Would highly recommend.

Sharon was really hospitable and flexible, with prompt communications.
Her home was perfect for our new year break with friends. The house was exceptionally clean and well furnished, really comfortable beds and great kitchen and dining facilities. Just a short walk to town or to the sea, it had everything we needed. The garden looked lovely for a summer break.

We loved our stay at Sea Glimpses. It was everything we needed for our family Christmas away; comfortable, warm, well-equipped, and beautifully decorated for the festive period. We also appreciated the generous Christmas food and drink goodies left for us - thank you.
Location was perfect for us with easy parking.
Communication with the owner was good - Sharon was responsive and dealt with any questions promptly and satisfactorily.

This was our second visit to sea glimpses and it was lovely again. Sharon is a responsive and helpful host and the house is lovely. Located centrally in broadstairs but with a big garden we were able to entertain ourselves well for our two weeks. A lovely place!

We had a wonderful 2 week stay at Sea Glimpses. The house is brilliantly located for the town and beach and exploring the coastline, as well as being comfortable and relaxing. Lovely bed linen, towels, and ‘extras’ like biscuits and choccies! Well equipped kitchen. Sunny garden. Comfy beds and sofas. Spacious and calming with its beach themed artwork. Life really is better at this beach house!

We had a lovely family holiday at Sea Glimpses. The house is well appointed and very clean with a lovely garden and everything you could need. The house even has lots of board games which kept the whole family occupied! The house is only five mins from Viking beach and about 10-15 from stone bay. Sharon and Adam were incredibly helpful. A really lovely house and we look forward to returning.

Sea Glimpses is truly a home away from home. Comfy beds, comfy sofas, tea and coffee (and biscuits and chocolates!), a well equipped kitchen … Plus of course it’s by the beach! We had the best holiday enjoying Broadstairs and the bays around the coast to Margate, as well as venturing further afield to Leeds Castle. We’ll definitely be back!

Great position, short stroll to the sea. The garden was ideal for all of us, adults had great seating area. Boys loved playing ‘Connect 4’. And the dog was happy to chill in the garden!
Great eateries near by, highly recommend ‘The Jetty’ and ‘Artfuls’.
Would definitely revisit and recommend to friends.

We found everything that we needed for three generations to stay in this house comfortably. There was nothing that we felt we needed in addition and our Grandchildren loved the bunk beds. Comfortable beds and bedding. Nothing was a problem for Sharon when we phoned with any queries. Very good location for the sea front, convenience shop and the train station which we used to visit Margate.

A wonderful stay in a lovely home. Everything we could have hoped for from initial booking through to departure giving us a relaxing and stress free holiday. High standards of cleanliness, well stocked kitchen, comfortable and spacious beds with quality bed linen and duvets, spacious rooms and plenty of storage. Well enclosed tidy garden perfect for children and dogs.
Lots to do locally with good restaurants and cafes, Superb beaches. We are already planning to return again next year.

Our first family holiday with our little 5 year old grandson and his dad, our daughter and her new husband, myself and my husband (grandma and grandpa). The location of the comfortable 4 bedroomed house, only a few streets away from the Broadstairs fabulous beaches (Viking bay and Louisa bay) was perfect for us, we went out to see sights such as Powell-Cotton Museum, and the castles at Dover, Deal and Walmer, also a great children's soft play centre called Under1Roof, and headed out on foot for our local beaches in the afternoon with deck chairs, buckets and spades leaving our cars parked on the drive and outside the house. The decor and the atmosphere in the house and garden is tasteful, peaceful, lovely, everything is of a high standard. Everything we needed was at the house, it was so comfortable and relaxing. We enjoyed some time in the mornings taking our tea/coffee/breakfast in the garden (really nice garden furniture) and at the end of every day, little grandson playing with the toys and in the wooden teepee at the bottom of the garden. Overall, couldn't wish for better.

We stayed for a weekend in March and blessed with sunshine! - 2 families, 4 kids between 21 months & 7, and 2 small dogs. It was just perfect for our needs. The garden is a little suntrap, there are indoor & outdoor toys to entertain. Everything you need to cook up a great meal. Less than 10 minutes from the beach. Sharon kept checking in too. Would definitely recommend and if we ever went back to Broadstairs we would stay there again.

Sharon was very helpful and accommodating, which was much appreciated during the uncertainty over Covid. The house is very well equipped, spacious and has comfortable beds and sitting areas. Kitchen had everything we needed for big family meals (very rare in a self catering rental). It was perfect for the dogs, inside and out. Loved the welcome pack.

Well, what can we say..?? Well...firstly we have nothing negative to say about Sea Glimpses!
Communication was brilliant before our stay and throughout. The little touches when we arrived were lovely...and we thought the items available to us in the house were perfect such as the throws we could use if it's chilly, the games in the garden and the BBQ! Even when it was raining we were able to sit outside and use the parasol as long as it wasn't too windy.
The house itself was clean and beautifully decorated...the seaside theme works so well and makes you feel like you're at seaside.
The rooms were all decorated lovely and the beds were amazingly comfortable.
The actual facilities were great and well thought out.
We cannot recommend this house enough! So many local facilities in walking distance.
And obviously, the beach being so close is a big attraction.
So thank you for a wonderful stay!

Just a short walk to the sea and shops this is a great place to stay. Sharon out host is so accommodating she was so helpful during our move down to Kent. Just a short walk to the sea and shops. All good.
So it's a highly recommended place to stay. Nothing to fault.
But the particular praise should be reserved for our host, Sharon. I can't speak too highly of how accommodating she was. Always on hand, incredibly flexible and helpful. Absolutely wonderful. Even kindly left some Halloween-themed treats for us upon our arrival. Great for the kids, terrible for my waistline!

This house is positioned so well, a few minutes from the town centre and beachfront, nice quiet road. We found the owner very helpful and easy to make contact with should there be any problems - happily there were no problems at all. Decorated tastefully and very, very clean. All mod cons with everything you need together with some extras which made our stay so comfortable and pleasant. Absolutely loved it and would definitely stay here again.

This is a beautiful, comfortable and spacious house in a wonderful location. We have been coming to Broadstairs every summer for many years, and this is by far the most lovely large house that we have found, just minutes from the beach, the shops, and the railway station. The four bedrooms have ample room for eight people, and the downstairs - lovely living room and large open plan kitchen/dining room - is great. The highlight of the house is the large and very pretty garden which includes a patio with full garden furniture and barbecue, and a play area for kids. The house is very well-equipped and the hosts are so welcoming and friendly. A fantastic base from which to enjoy Broadstairs and its beautiful beaches. We will definitely be returning!
