The Reading Rooms is yet another perfect property by Catch the Breeze. As you would expect the standard and the finish of the property was excellent. Two very comfortable spacious bedrooms left no-one thinking they had the small room. Good sized shower rooms with large heated towel rails for that extra bit of luxury. The layout downstairs was perfect with two lovely sitting areas (loads of room for everyone to sit comfortably) separated by the kitchen/diner with everything you could possibly need for eating in. Outside the river at the bottom of the garden was a real treat with lots of ...more
Superb house in amazing condition. Would recommend without hesitation for group stays. Very well equipped and luxurious.
We had a wonderful stay at Oughtershaw. Everything is superb. And as if it couldn’t get better….then there was gorgeous Ben who couldn’t be more helpful
Fantastic holiday house, quite secluded area which we enjoyed, only 1 other house nearby. The house is very spacious and well presented. Great access to Beadnell by car and foot (about a 45 minute walk) and to the beach over the fields. The access track is a bit bumpy unfortunately so if you have a low clearance car it may be a little bit of an issue
Tan Llan was a brilliant place to stay for the weekend. It's rustic with old beams and stone walls but with really nice modern bathrooms and kitchen, so an enormously comfortable place to stay. Great grounds with big fields and a river, and a perfect spot to explore Snowdonia and the coast from.
We enjoyed a week in Harbourway. A comfortable, well equipped house with loads of room for four of us and dogs. The interaction with Catch the Breeze staff was excellent, nothing was too much trouble and the welcome packs for humans and canines were much appreciated. The location is amazing, perfect for exploring the area and such a lovely base to come home to. Our friends have now gone home and we have moved into a smaller Catch the Breeze property to continue our holiday.
Middlerigg is a beautiful house in an amazing setting. The house was lovely and clean and very well equipped. It’s so well designed making the most of the views across the harbour to Dunstanburgh Castle. I like that there’s a floor plan on the website, it really helps when choosing a property. Communication with Claire before our stay was easy and informative, and she called in to ensure all was well shortly after we arrived. Would definitely look to book with Catch The Breeze again and hope to return to Middlerigg in the future.
A glorious two week stay with super weather. A comfortable, well equipped cottage to come back to after days spent in a wonderful county. Sitting out front watching the world go by is the best experience. The customer service was top class too - thanks to Claire, and Sam.
Waking up to the incredible sea views. Spotting a pod of dolphins. The excitement of my toddler granddaughter on the puffin cruise.
Craster Reach is a comfortable, well equipped property in a very good location. The 418 bus stop, the pub and Robson's are just a stones throw away. Robson's sell milk and eggs, as well as the world's finest kippers, of course. It was spotlessly clean, has comfy beds and lovely soft fluffy towels. There are three big bedrooms, with a great view of Dunstanburgh Castle from the attic The team at Catch the Breeze are great, very responsive and extremely helpful should you need them.
