The Reading Rooms were amazing - beautifully managed and cleaned by Ben and Janet. All our communication with Catch the Breeze was extremely helpful and we could not fault them. The location of the Reading Rooms is fairly remote but that was just what we needed with beautiful scenery and walks on the doorstep or a short scenic drive away. Thank you so much!
This is our umpteenth visit to Oughtershaw Hall and, again, we were not disappointed. This time our pre-Christmas No Tinsel week was as good as ever. Such a comfortable place to stay. The walk along the Beck is a little different at this time of year, varying from a mere trickle to a flow resembling the Orinoco - just had to play Enya when we got back into the warmth of the Hall. Our plans for next year are already coming to fruition. Thank you for such lovely accommodation in a truly wonderful part of the country.

Great stay at Driftwood. A well appointed, beautifully furnished, comfortable property. Super clean and everything that you could need has been thought of including a lovely welcome basket. The wood burner really came into its own when it snowed!
We have been coming here for a family break for a number of year. Feels like a home from home, with epic views and everything we could need for a week away.

Stayed for a long weekend with family. Our 3rd booking with Catch the Breeze. The position overlooking the sea is unrivaled with large kitchen/living/dining area where the family could come together to eat, drink and socialise. The bedrooms are all pretty much the same so no fighting over who has the best. The downstairs bathroom is separate to one of the bedrooms but gorgeous and next door. The upstairs living room is the highlight. Gorgeous comfy sofas with bifold doors that open onto the balcony overlooking the sea. Our must have criteria was a comfortable cottage within walking distance of a local pub (Jolly Fisherman - recommended for a quick refresh and food), sea views and walks along the coast from our front door. A wood burn was a must as our side space was not a driver beyond off street parking due to the time of year we visited. Craster Reach met all our criteria and customer service was great.
