This is a great property, ideal for family occasion, very well appointed with every thing you need for people of all ages. This was my 3rd visit, On this occasion it was to celebrate my 70th birthday, We had a great time and hopefully visit again soon, All the staff are very helpfull any problems we just called and problem sorted.

We rented Wooladon House and all other houses/cottages for one week for our large family gathering and it turned out to be "the best place ever" compared with other family holidays over the last ca. 30 years. This was in part due to the luxury of attached bathrooms to all bedrooms and the spaciousness of the place, but also due to the fact that our younger family members could celebrate a late night 21st birthday in Barn Cottage without disturbing the grandparents in the main house. The kind people of Wooladon Estate also provided additional crockery and cutlery so that we could all eat together in the main house. They also made the garden of the main house safe for our two dogs to run around freely. What was missing (but provided on request) were big enough pots in the kitchen. Missing also was a garlic press and a lemon juicer. And for the benefit of the elderly among us: please make walk-in showers safer, provide soap dishes in the showers (we bought one) and maybe the odd safety rail.

We stayed at Wooladon House for a weekend with friends. The house is amazing with very comfortable bedrooms upstairs and a lot of space to sit and relax downstairs - I'm not sure we used all the rooms but it would be perfect if the weather was bad. The garden is peaceful with lots of seating. The estate is great for rambling in the countryside and we spotted some kingfishers on the river. A highly recommended stay.

We spent a very enjoyable few days at Wooladon. The setting is beautiful and we spent time walking around the grounds. Customer service was excellent and very helpful considering our dates had to be changed on three occasions. We certainly would recommend you to our friends and family. We had an amazing stay at Wooladon, it was perfect for our sports day and rounders, beauty treatments and we went for a cream tea at strawberry fields. The hot tub was fab and the house was clean and beds very comfortable, all 7 rooms were great. The team at Kate and Toms were helpful and friendly and then we were greeted by a friendly and professional guy who worked on the estate to make sure we had settled in which was fab. Hired the manor for husbands 60th for family & friends, what an outstanding property it’s beautiful inside & out. The welcome bits were a lovely thought & enjoyed by everyone. The owners have certainly got an eye for detail to make guests stay a fantastic experience thinking of everything as well as keeping us supplied with logs for fire pit outside (thank you). My husband & I stayed in the master suite OMG I thought I died & gone to heaven that bathroom is stunning I would defo hire again & have recommended to so many people. If your reading this review go for it.

Lovely house, fabulous weekend break for extended family for my birthday. The house and grounds were amazing. The garden room is beautiful & a great place to curl up with a cuppa & a good book. My bedroom (the main one) was huge & a real treat! We enjoyed the hot tub, snooker table & walk around the grounds. Kitchen was all very well equipped. Only little points which could have improved were simple instructions for the oven - (we still couldn’t work out how to get it all working after reading the manual & goggling utube!) and a welcome tray with a pint of milk would have been nice. However I loved it and am looking for an excuse to get a group together & book again!

We stayed in Wooladon house (sept 2021) and there were 12 of us there plus two babies. There was ample space, fantastic amount of bathrooms so no issues with waiting for showers in the morning etc. It is a beautiful estate with some great walks. Also fab to be a short walk from the farm shop is perfect! Would highly recommend for large groups wanting a get together with great facilities, great location and a beautiful spacious house.

What a fabulous house, we were amazed by everything about it, we couldn’t find the kids for a week! It was so big. We loved the whole week and would have liked it to be longer. One evening we had a chef cook for us, Steven Pidgeon, would recommend him, he served us in the formal dining room and it was so special, the highlight of our week, the food was wonderful. The children loved the house, playing pool and ping pong, they were in their element, and the garden is a great place for playing football and cricket. The bedrooms were luxurious and so many bathrooms. We would definitely recommend this house.

We enjoyed our stay at wooladon house apart from the constant problem with the heating. Kitchen facilities were quite poor and outside seating not too good. No Brolley and not much in the way of seating areas. Bedrooms were lovely and very comfortable and bathrooms good .

This was our second time at Wooladon and yet again a great experience and stay with the Estate.
Stayed with children and had everything we could have needed, for essentials and treats there’s the amazing Strawberry Fields farm shop which wows us every time! The house itself is ideal with a great amount of space and brilliant facilities. To be critical the pillows were very hard but appreciate it’s a personal preference but can not fault anything else!
Thank you again for such a wonderful stay and we will of course be back :)
One thing to consider just as we had the delight of a very rainy week would be an awning on the wall to extend to offer shelter from the rain when in the hot tub but just a suggestion

We had the most wonderful time staying here with our family over a 4 day period. The estate is beautiful and the house is well equipped for a large group of people. We especially enjoyed the use of the pool table, bbq and outdoor hot tub. Whilst here, visited the Eden project, Dartmoor National park and there along with local walks in the countryside. Thank you for having us, we would love to come back again in the future.

Wooladon house is just minutes away from the main road, but feels like you are in the middle of nowhere. We had so much room and enjoyed table tennis, snooker and hot tub. It was so comfortable at the house we felt we didn’t need to go anywhere and had many leisurely walks around the farm fields. We enjoyed shopping at the farm shop and had two meals at strawberry fields restaurant which we could easily walk to.

Wooladon House was such a lovely spacious house for a well awaited family break. The space is well thought out and the addition of the breakfast kitchen and utility room on top of the kitchen with two cooking facilities is great when organising meals for big groups, plenty of space for everyone to help out. The living room has plenty of space and lots of different seating for all choices, including a smaller quiet snug type room for quieter times. The pool room was fab too and we all played many games of pool. Hot tub was a fab favourite with us all too. All bedrooms and bathrooms are very nice and spacious too. The master suite (Aka the bridal suite!) is such a beautiful huge room. The gardens and land are very well kept and we enjoyed walking and exploring the site. This is a great venue for a family getaway, there’s so much space for a big family/multiple families and children. I’d very much like to come back with a bigger group and book out the other cottages onsite too. Adam and the team we’re all super helpful and attentive with nothing too much trouble at all. Super house, sad to leave!

A truly fantastic week in a wonderful setting.
My family and I (18 people in total) have stayed in a number of country properties both home and abroad over the past 10 years and Wooladon House is head and shoulders above anything else we have found.
The whole setup is just perfect. From the Estate Management, Customer Service to the staff at Strawberry Fields you could not wish for a nicer bunch of people.
Launceston offers everything you could ask for as far as food and drink are concerned and the fabulous resport of Bude is easily within driving distance.
A fantastic week in a fabulous property.
