We had a wonderful family Christmas stay at the Townhead house. The location & surroundings hills were beautiful, peaceful & quiet. Our hosts had provided us with a beautifully decorated Christmas tree & included a few extra treats for us. The basic provisions provided were also very much appreciated. The modern heat pump ensured comfortable heating throughout the property & plenty of hot water. Located 10 minutes drive away from lovely Peebles town centre. The staff were amazing at keeping this surprise visit for my husbands birthday. Amazing place to visit and stay and would throughly recommend getting chef in to prepare evening meal. Thank you to chefs Chris and Dougie and a massive thank you to Sandy, Rachel and Katarina for all your help
We adored our stay over new year! The Bothy is a delight and so cosy. We loved the wood burning stove and the bed was so comfy. It was pure relaxation and we can’t wait to return
Stunning property, decorated beautifully, well equipped and thoughtfully designed. Spotlessly clean, couldn’t have been better for our dog with the charming arboretum literally on our doorstep. We immediately relaxed, enjoying the peaceful and spectacular location, perhaps remote for some but we were well prepared and enjoyed our walks into Peebles and the surrounding area. Will definitely book again. Thank you.
Surpris ingénieur at fiesta. Specially when you are 4 adults and you think that the only bathroom and toilets are in the uppercut room !! Hopefully there is the bassement ! We did appréciation the hot floor when getting out of the shower. We also enjoyed the fire in the chimney
A beautiful cottage with everything you could possibly need in an amazing location. The only reason for the comfort medium rating is that we chose to stay despite having no power due to the worst storm for 100 years! - had that not been the case, the comfort rating would be excellent The owners gave us other options but we decided to stay and they were very helpful with candles and logs - it was all part of the adventure!
