Really lovely cottage with great facilities. Everything was very nice. Located a little out of the way but no problem if travelling by car.
We have just returned from our second visit. If you want peace, tranquility and luxury this is the place to be. You won't get much of a telephone signal but we love the fact that the furnishings and linens wouldn't be out of place in top class hotel. Pure luxury. The owners are very special too, Ann and Martin cannot do enough, Nothing is too much trouble. You dog is as much as a guest as you are, with treats, towels, throws and bedding truly a doggie haven and don't forget the walks and the paddock in which they can run and play. Perfect for the whole family.
Beautiful location. Tallentire near Cockermouth is lovely location to explore the north of the Lake District and Cumbria. Our accommodation (Hayloft in Tallentire Hall) was beautifully decorated, very clean and comfortable. Our hosts were very welcoming and we had everything we needed for our stay and more. We absolutely loved it and cannot wait to come back again. Shahine + Jacqui
