We returned for another weekend in Rowan and this one was even better than the last, complete with 24 hours of snow! The whole weekend felt very magical and we could not have asked for a cosier place to watch the snow fall. We had a small issue with hot water, but Steph was brilliant in helping us get this sorted quickly, despite the weather conditions! I suspect we will be back very soon. Thank you!

Gorgeous cabin - really comfortable with lovely views and a very special feel. We enjoyed the immediate surroundings - the tranquil pond and trees - and also easy access to some big hills. It was snug and warm despite November chills and a great place to celebrate a special birthday. Coolest cabin ever!

We have just returned from a weekend stay in Rowan cabin and can’t wait to return. The cabin is beautifully decorated, very cosy and wonderfully peaceful. The location is perfect - close enough to Dunkeld but still feels remote. The only downside was having to leave!

I absolutely loved this place! I stayed in Rowan with my 2 dogs. Personally I think the cabin with the best set up...lovely views of the loch from all windows and porch, but slightly higher up so lots of privacy. The decor inside was beautiful and everything I hoped it would be! We were very cosy here and it was wonderfully peaceful. Plenty of walks from the doorstep and Dunkeld only a few minutes drive away for essentials. I was so sad to leave, and definitely will return!

We stayed in the Rowan cabin for 2 nights in August with my boyfriend and our 3 year old son. The cabin is very cosy and is the perfect location to chill out and enjoy the scenery.
There are plenty of beautiful walks on the doorstep so enough to do if you don’t fancy jumping in the car. Dunkeld is a few minutes in the car back down the hill or a 20/30 min walk where you can find some lovely restaurants and great bakery!
The cabin is well equipped for cooking so eating in or out can be considered. The beds are extremely comfy with one large bathroom with a separate shower and bath which is always welcome when travelling with a little one.
Overall the cabin is very spacious and not really overlooked by the other cabins so nice and private.
We had a really lovely time and would definitely consider booking again.

We stayed in the Rowan cabin at Glen Glack as a family of 4, and we were really happy with the cabin - it was cosy and also modern inside, and having the covered deck to sit on was also a highlight. We walked around Cally Loch below, and enjoyed the proximity to Dunkeld. Hope to be back!

First time staying. Tea bags, sugar, coffee pods, dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid all provided….this reduced the little things needed. 20 minutes wander into town, lovely spots to eat at. Cabin is really clean and comfortable. As advertised on the website. Perfect!

Stayed for two nights to celebrate my birthday. The cabins are spacious and modern, featuring a covered outdoor seating area. Surrounded by woodland and located less than five minutes from the village of Dunkeld, it was an ideal retreat to escape the busy world and unwind.
The cabins are comfortable and well-equipped with everything you need. An added bonus is the complimentary access to the Atholl estate and castle tour.

Initial impression very favourable as lodge fitted out with quality in mind not simply "will it do the job". In amongst the trees with great walks on your doorstep. A sanctuary of peace and quiet with views to die for and away from everyday life unless you drive to Dunkeld where parking is a premium.

We enjoyed our stay at Glen Glack and the log cabins were very comfortable (particularly the beds). However, I would say that the bath needs some sort of rail to support people getting out (otherwise I think you might find the taps coming loose off the wall!). It's a deep bath and unless you're reasonably fit/athletic I think you could find it awkward trying to get out (my husband would certainly have had a problem......luckily there is a shower to use).
Kitchen - you need some better instructions on using the Induction Hob - we really struggled with it as the light /panel kept going off and we found it awkward (but we are used to an AGA and lifting a lid to put the pan/kettle on!). The dishwasher also took a bit of working out too. All very clever stuff.......but you need to account for the people who are not used to such modern appliances.
We would definitely return - luckily we had YouTube to help us out as the Cabin was a bit short on information about the kitchen appliances.

We booked two cabins for a week or two after their official opening: aside from the snagging you'd expect with a brand new build the finish and outfitting is exceptional. Well beyond the quality you'd get at a premium hotel or typical holiday rental.
The location is equally as stunning, with the cabins laid out amongst considered landscaping to provide privacy from others without being cut off should you be split across more than one.
The only post trip thoughts: a broom for the terrace / inside would have been a great additional to the attentive house keeping support, and the bin set up was a little extra effort than you might expect at that price point if you're staying more than a few nights.
