Beautifully furnished former barn. Ideally located for surrounding walks. My only comment would be that the decking around the hot tub does get very slippery. Overall though I would definitely recommend staying here
This was our first time staying at The Retreat, after searching endlessly for an intimate cottage for an anniversary celebration, we found this amazing property. The entire place was super clean and had everything we could have needed. The hot tub made our stay, and it all felt very private which is exactly what you'd want! Phillipa was an amazing host, and made us feel comfortable. I would highly recommend The Retreat to everyone, and we will most definitely be returning. Thanks so much again Phillipa!
Thank you so much Philippa for our cosy cottage base at Hall Farm, AND for helping me out of our wedding clothes crisis! The cottage was the perfect base for my husband, elderly mother-in-law and myself as we celebrated a family wedding at nearby Grangefields. It was so nice to be able to pop back for a rest in the middle of The Day and feel so at home and comfortable in the cottage.
