Perfect for families, this immaculately presented home is spacious and bright. It is a wonderful space to relax and unwind in after exploring the picturesque East Neuk coastline. Your own hot tub completes this perfect coastal escape and helps make the most of the fresh sea air in this part of the world.

This property comes with a welcome pack including tea, coffee, sugar, milk ,and toiletries, which includes shampoo, conditioner, shower gel and soap.

Searching to find a property to stay near St Andrews, Dragonfly cottage popped up on line. A sign as dragonflies were poinyant to my reason for visiting Scotland. My grand daughter of 3 ,my daughter and I found the property warm, inviting and homely. Beautifully decorated, impeccably clean. Beds very comfortable and the property very central to lots of places we wished to visit. A real gem, thankyou for a relaxing comfortable stay. Hope to visit again one day.

This is the second time we have stayed at the cottage - last year we stayed during the week although this time we stayed over a weekend. The cottage was lovely and we found it to be of the same high standard as last year. Loved walking along the part of the Fife Coastal Path which was basically just around the corner from the cottage. My main criticism was that apart from some tea/coffee sachets and a couple of pieces of chocolate, there was no welcome pack which normally accompanies a holiday cottage of this standard.

The most beautiful cottage kept to perfection. The hot tub is a great addition as well. Plenty information to help you out. Had the best few days celebrating my big birthday with friends. This is a must view and stay worth every penny paid. Can't wait to go back again.

Slight problem when we arrived, no heating, The owner was informed by a very nice staff member about the problem and it was dealt with a very professional manner, not spoiling any part of our holiday. Big thanks to Marius and David

Lovely cottage in a lovely location. Lots of nice walks with our small dog. Welcome pack could have been improved upon when I compare the Dragonfly Cottage one to other welcome packs in similar priced short stay properties.

We have just returned from a week in Cellardyke, in Dragonfly Cottage. The house is immaculately clean and well presented. It’s ideally located beside the beach and tidal pool. The hot tub was a very welcome bonus, and one of the main reasons for booking the accommodation.
However, the photos have been very cleverly taken so that it’s not obvious that the property is semi-detached in a street with many houses. This doesn’t cause a problem in itself, however, the bedroom headboard backs on to the neighbours lounge, so you hear every noise from 7.30am to 10pm, TV, conversations, kids playing and dogs barking. We heard dogs barking non stop Monday to Friday, from 7.30 to 9.30, obviously when the owners go to work, and it’s not just an odd dog, it’s several, and they set each other off barking. Now, I am a dog owner and dog lover, but it was beyond acceptable the level of noise, and nobody ever seemed to stop them barking…
Also, the guy came to inspect our hot tub on the second night, just to check it was ok, he came to the door, rung the doorbell and said what he was doing and he didn’t need in as his chemicals were in the garage, fair enough, no problem. The problem arose when he just let himself in three more times during our week without letting us know, often leaving the gate open when he left, and worst of all was when he arrived on Saturday morning at 9am and took out the drain plug so that we couldn’t use the hot tub! We had paid over £1100 for a week, only got in at 4pm, had to be out by 10am and had to strip the beds and put the used towels in a bag for the cleaner, but when we couldn’t use the hot tub for the last hour of our stay, we were flabbergasted. They had 6 hours to do any necessary maintenance on the property, why did they feel the need to start to empty the hot tub during our last hour? The hot tub was empty by 10am when we left, totally unprofessional in my opinion…
