What a terrific lodge! With a fantastic terrace affording lake views and a large hot tub, this stunning and spacious 3 bedroom lodge is a perfect holiday retreat. One small well behaved dog welcome.

Our 3rd time staying in this beautiful lodge, 2nd time to celebrate my birthday which was just perfect - it is our favourite lodge to stay in on the site - close to the lake - spacious, amazing hot tub - just everything you could ask for

My only very small gripe is that the sofas and beds seem to have been changed since our last 2 stays and we found them not as comfy as the old ones, however that’s only my personal opinion but the lodge is just perfect and we hate having to leave

Going to book again for a 4th stay next year as I’m missing it already

The lodge has 3 double beds which is quite rare to find so makes it good especially when we had other family members coming - our dog is also accepted and they provide all sorts to help have our dog there including a wash station outside, towels, spare leads, covers .
It’s just a perfect lodge and I would highly recommend to anyone - location is just spot on close to the lake.

The sofas are new and we are sorry to hear that you did not find them as comfortable as the last. We have passed on your comment to the owners for their future reference. Thank you for letting us know. The beds are the same as the last time you were here, although again, we will advise the owners of your comments. As you rightly point out comfort is a personal preference, although we do know that the owners are keen to ensure guests have a comfortable stay and we are sure that they will take your comments on board. Nevertheless thank you for letting us know that Potters Lodge is just perfect and you will be booking again. The location and the lodge along with a superb hot tub just makes for a fantastic holiday in the Lakes.

Lovely lodge great location very clean and modern my only gripes are definitely not for 6 adults more for 4 needs to make one of bedrooms into a twin and sofa needs changing two of our party had to sit on kitchen chairs sofas to small but other than that it was a great stay.

Having said that, noting your comment about the sofas, we can tell you that the lodge has a four and a two seater to accommodate the maximum number of guests. We can only apologise that they were not as big as expected for you all. Potters Lodge is unique in that it has three bedrooms with two having a king size bed, and the third a double bed. We do find that this is a popular feature and allows flexibility for families and friends staying. Nonetheless we have noted your suggestion and will advise the lodge owners, thank you. On a more positive note, we are delighted that you otherwise had a great stay and would recommend to others. Potters Lodge is a fantastic place to stay and we do hope that we welcome you again in the near future.

What a wonderful lodge! The care and attention from the owners can really be seen! The lodge has everything you could possibly need, it is immaculate with a large outdoor area, fantastic for my young children! WiFi was great which helped us on a couple of very rainy days! We visit White Cross Bay every summer and will be definitely booking this lodge again. Thank you for a wonderful stay!

We’ve been lucky to visit the past 3 years, for short breaks, it’s my favourite lodge, and we could take the puppy with us this year which was great. The lodge really is lovely, location ideal, hot tub fantastic, decked area is lovely with the view of the lake. Only thing that could improve it would be bedroom curtains for the early summer mornings . Hopefully get to visit again next year.

My self and family have used Whitecross bay for last five years.
Photos online never are the same when you get there.
Potters lodge was truly was.
The people who owned this lodge think about everything and everyone.
For us was a lovely surprise and a great week.
I would recommend this lodge to anyone.

Second visit to this lodge, and it’s still immaculate

Positioned very well right next to the slipway in to the lake, great views, and ideal for water sports

The facilities and attention to detail in this lodge are the best I have ever encountered. The lodge is immaculate, and the hot tub was used regularly all weekend.

Communication was great during booking. We travelled as a group of 4 adults and had an amazing weekend. If you are thinking of booking this lodge, do not hesitate, book it whilst it’s available

A fantastic lodge! Furnished to a high standard, with every need catered for. Cannot fault the accommodation at all.

Our stay was impacted as the site had a partly developed lodge stored next to our lodge, with the weather being unsettled in the nights we were away (storms and high winds) the covering protecting the stored lodge made a lot of noise through the night, this impacted our sleep 3 out of the 4 nights of our stay.

Stayed at Potter's Lodge to celebrate my mums 85th birthday. Delighted with the lake view and comforts of the lodge for all the family. With the addition of the hot tub and being able to bring our family dog. We all had an enjoyable long weekend at the lodge and would highly recommend. Lots of little extra touches which were welcomed.

Perfect location for a break away.
I can only imagine how fantastic this must be in the summer, but even in early winter with dark nights after the clocks have changed and the colder temperatures and damp weather we came away feeling totally refreshed and recharged. The location and beauty of the lake is outstanding. Thank you for letting us stay at potters lodge for a wonderful family holiday.

We have stayed on White Cross Bay 3 times per year for many years now and this time was by far the best Lodge we have stayed in.
Perfect Lodge in a Perfect Location we loved it so much we have already booked twice for next year.
The Lodge itself was spotlessly clean overly spacious with 2 x king size beds & a double, it most certainly shows the owners take exceptional care of their property, we just could not fault it even if we tried.
The Hot Tub was such a perfect added bonus being situated on the Sun Trapped Decking with views over the lake.
needless to say we definitely did not want to leave such a truly amazing lodge.

I would also like to give a shout out to Fiona and the team at Lakes and Cottages, who through the whole process from start to finish was both extremely professional & knowledgable and a credit to the company.

We found the lodge to be perfect in every way, very spacious, very roomy with three double bedrooms. A very large decking area for relaxing and, of course, the hot tub.
We liked it so much, we had only been resident for one day and we booked it again for next summer

On arrival the lodge was immaculate, it really is a lovely place to stay, gorgeous views of lake Windemere, contemporary interior, and the decking area is delightful, blessed with sunny weather we enjoyed many hours sitting on the comfy rattan furniture. We have stayed at this park for the last 10years in a variety of private and Parkdean lodges, this is by far the very best we stayed in.
It was spotlessly clean and had a excellent fixtures and fitting,
It is in a great position on the park with fantastic view of the lake.
We have already booked to come back in October.
I would highly recommend this lodge.

I have stayed at many lodges over the years at White Cross and Limefitt and this lodge just outshone all of them - it was spacious clean and just all the little attention to detail to make our stay comfortable made all the difference - the hot tub was amazing such a good size and the location looking down to the lake was the best - beds were comfy and everywhere was just so clean and well thought out - we have already booked to go back later in the year and counting down the days - I have also recommended this lodge to a few friends and family

Such a lovely lodge right near a lake , comfortable, modern, very clean, had everything you need there.
Hot tub was lovely plenty room , only thing I found wad the contractors that maintain the hot tub not very good. Young lads that just threw in chlorine tablets no testing or cleaning water. Our tub temperature was 43.5 soo hot we couldn't get in it , after calling they sent the contractor who literally there 1 minute but no difference in temperature so barely used it unfortunately.
The lodge perfect definitely would stay again, the park needs to change hottub contractors.

We note your comments about the hot tub contractor and having followed up on all you have said, we can tell you that the tub was at 38.5 degrees for the duration of your stay. The contractor uses technology that accurately records the temperature of the tub along with the ph levels, this includes a time and date stamped photo, taken twice daily on the tub. The whole process takes a couple of minutes. We can only apologise that you felt the tub was not looked after properly. On a more positive note, we are pleased that you otherwise had a lovely stay at Potters and thrilled to hear you would stay again.

Our stay at Potters Lodge was first class, it was spotless and very comfortable with a great hot tub and a nice view of the lake. We couldn’t fault it and we hope to book for next year

Potter’s Lodge was everything we expected and more, lovely location beautiful lodge they had given a lot of thought to setting it up. Having a dog it was a lovely surprise to see the extra things with a dog in mind, we enjoyed our stay at Potters Lodge and would definitely come back.

We’ve been lucky to stay on white cross bay a few times now, but this lodge is def our favourite. Bedrooms were lovely, our son usually ends up in the kids bedroom but he felt like he had the best one this time. The location on site is ideal with a view of the lake, but not to close. Plenty of room out on the decking and the hot tub was fab, def recommended, hopefully we will get to return next year.

We've stayed, as a family, in this lodge before. When we saw that it had new owners and a full refurb AND new LOCAL management team, we booked a full week.
Just my wife and I. We booked with Chris and his team ar Lakescottagesandlodges dotcom.
Chris really helped me out even before we arrived with a surprise for my wife in the lodge for our arrival. Whilst we were there Chris helped again with 2 small issues that could well have waited until our departure.

Anyway, the lodge...absolutely gorgeous. It has everything you need, is beautifully decorated, hot tub is fab and cleaned daily also its emptied and filled after every visitor. Washer dryer, vacuum, iron, hair dryers, all kitchen and cooking utensils, great showers, indoor & outdoor dining areas/tables and just a lovely place to chill and relax for your time in tge Lakes.

The lodge looks out over the lake and is very well positioned. We have stayed in Whitecross Bay 5/6 times, always been lucky with the weather and Potters Lodge has been the best by far.

Thank you so much to the owners for allowing us to stay in your beautiful Lodge. We will book again.
