We (2 adults, 2 children) had a great stay at High Tide. Ideal location for exploring the North Yorkshire coast, from seals at Flamborough to arcades at Scarborough. Easy to walk to beach and the pub on The Bay. We will be back!

Had a nice stay at the cottage. Everything we needed was at the property. Found bits of items in the bedroom under ned left by previous renters that should have been noticed by the cleaners but that really was the only issue.

Super cottage very well equipped. Great for our needs and excellent value for money. Near enough to Filey for us to meet up with family.

On our visit we found the location was good for us, very quiet, clean and warm. Near to the road entrance and bus stops for travel up/down the coast. We found the shower very good with plenty of hot water, the down side was the glass shield not really wide enough, had to be very careful not to get water all over the floor and also not very safe getting in/out of the bath to the shower, could do with more mats and a handle.

Lovely accommodation, very clean and comfortable. Well equipped and maintained. Good Wi-Fi. Quick to sort out one minor issue that we had. A great base for travelling out to local area. Access to beach fairly close but was quite steep. Communication and access information was clear and easy to follow. We are planning to stay there again.

Whilst the cottage was more than wonderful we both found the settee to be very uncomfortable too low

The Cottage is located in an ideal place close to Bridlington, filey and Scarborough. We had a wonderful weeks stay in a clean and well equipped cottage, which was nice and quite on a night,we would definitely stay there again.

High Tide Cottage is lovely , well equipped, comfortable and warm two bedroomed house
Great location for exploring the East Coast . Great long clean beach and cliff top path to walk into Filey and further to Scarborough
Good bus service as well between Bridlington and Scarborough and onward to Whitby

Possibly our third or fourth stay at High Tide. Its always been fantastic and we felt this time it had a even fresher feel.

Clean comfortable, great location little extras loved it. It's a well.looked after clean comfortable . property ,.love the space out back too.

Exceptionally warm, we did keep turning heating down but kept re setting so did end up with windows open.

Would have liked oven gloves as opposed to a oven cloth but honestly we love this property.

First time we've stayed by a managed company , would be useful if it was more personalised as the documents were general for all
Properties we felt so had we not been before some a little misleading such as dogs policy.

We will certainly be back.

High tide is clearly pet-free and only ever advertised as such - and the welcome booklet does reflect this.

Good quiet location on the complex .
The house is clean . well stocked , comfortable and spacious
The Bay is an excellent base for exploring the seaside towns nearby
The beach is beautiful at low tide with long walks

This is the first time we have stayed at The Bay and it won’t be the last, The cottage was beautiful and had everything we needed, it was very comfortable and nicely set out, well equipped too. The whole experience was hassle free, from booking to leaving.

High Tide is perfectly located, clean and very well equipped. We stayed as a family of 4. It is a great base for a holiday, whether to simply wander through The Bay to the beach, go into Filey or go further afield (Whitby was a particular favourite). Even the sun shone for us! We will be back.

This was our second visit to The Bay. We enjoyed our first stay, 3 years ago, in a different cottage (despite the weather) but it didn’t compare to our stay in High Tide Cottage!
It was immaculate and gorgeously decorated. The open living space was comfortable and extremely well equipped- from the cookware and kitchen utensils, to the washing machine, to the smart TV and X Box!
The bedrooms were great, plenty of storage space in each, comfortable beds and a hairdryer in each room, too!
The bathroom was lovely and clean with a decent pressured shower!

The French boules pitch to the back of the property was the icing on the cake for my 6 year old son, who made friend with 2 other children who’s holiday cottages also backed on to the pitch. It served as their playground for the week and they all loved having a safe and secure area to play on together. We were fortunate enough with the weather to make use of the outdoor furniture, on a couple of occasions!

There were always plenty of spaces in the car park close to the cottage and although it’s not far from the entrance of the resort, the walk to all the main facilities took all of 5 minutes.

From stepping through the front door for the first time, we could tell High Tide Cottage was going to be the perfect base for our little staycation, and we were sorry to leave by the end of the week. We would absolutely love to stay there again!

This house was very clean, with decent furniture and kitchen equipment. The kitchen also had a few useful consulables such as dishwasher tablets, washing up liquid and kitchen foil and tea bags-which was really thoughtful . The layout and space in the house were perfect.
It was clean and smelled clean, but with no strong cleaning product and chemical smells.
Wifi was reliable.
The house seemed to be well insulated against sound, which was useful when children were playing football outside.
The only thing i could fault was the heating came on in July, which seemed to be excessive.
It was a really lovely holiday house, probably the nicest we have ever stayed at.

Location- nice location, the pool was basic but clean and was empty one day, then horribly crowded the day after- so variable.
Although most people kept dogs on leads, I saw a few dogs running around without leads in gardens/ shared spaces, which meant my son, who is anxious around dogs, couldn’t play outside and was worried when we walked along the paths.
The place was clean and well kept with easy beach access. The shop had no fresh fruit and veg, but had frozen foods.
Really, the dogs off leads was the only issue I had. It was an ideal holiday place.

Hi Emma, Thank you for your review. We are so pleased you enjoyed your stay at High Tide Cottage and that you feel The Bay offered you all you needed for an enjoyable family holiday. Guests who bring dogs with them (we are a pet free cottage) are asked to keep their dogs on a lead (due to the open plan nature of the village), unfortunately some choose to disregard this; which we ourselves find disappointing when we are staying at the cottage. The heating is on a schedule and guests can fully adjust for their own comfort as even some summer evenings can be chilly. We hope to welcome you back to High Tide Cottage in the future as the area has so much to offer whether it be the North Yorkshire coast or moors.

We have stayed at high tide numerous occasions and have always been satisfied with our stay.

One of the most relaxing holidays i've had in a long while, even though we did lots of things, I loved Filey and definitely will return again and hopefully to anchor bay,.
