Tern offers a stylish single story family friendly bolthole, close to South Creake & the North Norfolk coast. There's a bright modern living space, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom, perfect for guests of all ages. The cottage has glazed doors leading to a private patio and direct access to extensive fenced gardens where children can run and play. On site there’s also an indoor pool, games room and tennis courts to keep everyone amused.

Our second visit and we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. My children absolutely loved the swimming pool and the space to run around outside. The cottage was clean and comfortable and the staff were very responsive. Close to so many good places to visit, and the owners offer lots of recommendations which is brilliant. We’ll definitely come back.

Loved our stay at Cranmer - cottages had everything needed, so peaceful and location was perfect for exploring north Norfolk.
Opt for one of the cottages backing onto the field if you can - perfect for bunny spotting in the morning and evening which our toddler loved.
The pre information sent was really helpful with some great recommendations.
The laundrette on site was really useful as we stayed a week, and some lovely little amenities to welcome you too.

We spent a restful and comfortable few days in Tern Cottage. The cottage was clean and tidy and there was plenty of room. The beds were very comfortable.

A plus was the swimming pool. My daughter enjoyed her swim - having the pool to herself.

Norfolk is such a beautiful part of the country and we were able to enjoy it more because of our holiday accommodation.

We stayed here in August and it was just perfect. Kids loved it we have two boys aged 7 and 3. Great location for beaches and places to visit. Would definitely recommend to any families look to stay in Norfolk.

We stayed in Tern cottage at the end of July and had a wonderful week. Such a lovely and stylish cottage with everything you need and lots of facilities to keep our two daughters occupied (9 & 5) including a play area, tennis court and games room which both enjoyed using very much. The highlight was the pool which was perfect for us at it was so warm so our youngest daughter was able to enjoy it too without getting cold. They are operating an hour slot for each cottage which we think worked really well as you were guaranteed use to yourself as a family, then an open swim twice a day. Location was brilliant too, with loads to do on the doorstep and within very easy reach of the beaches, such a beautiful part of the country. Overall, we had a a really lovely week and would love to come back! Thank you.

We had a great stay at Cranmer. The cottage was clean and comfy and lots of thought had been put into supporting small children staying including cots, black out blinds, high chairs, etc. The facilities were fantastic - amazing pool with private usage sessions and a small play area, Wendy house, and games room with lots of toys and activities for all ages. Location is rural but only short drive to shops and activities. We would definitely recommend and hope to visit again.

This was our third holiday running at Cranmer & it was just as good as ever. The weather wasn’t brilliant but we had the super pool. Such a good idea having a rota.
The only little criticism I have is the pillows are hard. Two soft ones per double bed would be so good.

We enjoyed our stay but if we are totally honest, it was very expensive for a week in the UK (equally we did look around before booking and pricing seems fairly typical of this category of accommodation).

We appreciate some of the facilities are different (or out of use such as the games/activity room) but we felt there was not much to recompense for the things that were not available. For example we were not able to check in until 5pm and had to check out at 9am - 2 hours less in total than the normal check in and out times. We were told this was for extra cleaning, however the Venetian blinds were dusty in the bedrooms and there was lots of dust on top of the wardrobe in the master bedroom (we stored our luggage up there). A suggestion would be to provide clean towels mid-week as a small compensation for the reduction in hire duration. We also thought it would be nice to be greeted or checked on during our stay (obviously socially distanced). Even just a quick knock on the door or quick email.

The bathroom sink is really too small for a family of 4 and especially with the glass shelf above it, it is really hard just to wash your face (as an adult). Also, there definitely needs to be some more shelves to put wash bags etc on rather than on the floor or the windowsill.

The swimming pool was beautifully clean and we enjoyed having it to ourselves. The timings worked well (although we would have appreciated being told where the timetable was on the website much sooner before our stay as we had to book our days around it).

The field, tennis court and play area is lovely and the children really enjoyed it.

We appreciate it has been really difficult to open but the above points are intended as feedback. Overall we enjoyed everything and was a welcome break from the past 5 months. Good luck with the rest of the season!

We had a fantastic stay over Christmas. The details such as the hamper and Victoria Sponge on the kitchen table and the Christmas tree in the living room made the stay feel special from the start. The whole site is beautiful and immaculately maintained. The cottages are very comfortable and and the swimming pool and games room were perfect for spending time with our children.

Lovely weekend spent with the family. Party of 11 staying in 3 properties. Great facilities and the kids could run free safely within the gardens. Lovely indoor pool. Great places to visit nearby as well. Would definitely recommend and hope to return in the not to distant future

Beautiful cottage in an amazing, quiet location, 10 minutes from the sandy beaches of north Norfolk. We had a wonderful week exploring the area with our 3 and 1 year old. The heated indoor swimming pool on site was brilliant and we tended to have it to ourselves. The boys loved running around the field, going on the swings and slide and watching out for birds, rabbits and the occasional fighter jet! Can’t wait to come back.

A great place to stay for our large family celebration with good facilities and very near to beaches and places to see. The indoor pool was a treat after a day in the hot sun by the sea. The games room was a boon for the younger members of our party with pool & table tennis tables. Being keen tennis players we made good use of the two tennis courts although they do need a service (no pun intended!).
We had organising catering for one special evening and the food was outstanding. Our main point of contact was very friendly & professional making sure all our needs were met.
The quality of the accommodation is excellent with plenty of space, well equipped kitchen area, comfortable beds & clean linen.
