I can’t recall how many times we have visited and still we are blown away by the level of service, cleanliness and comfort of the accommodation. From the ease of booking (I feel Liz deserves a special mention) to the beauty of the view and the extras in the accommodation which makes your stay that little bit special. We had an absolutely fantastic stay. The house is a beautiful mansion that is exceptionally well-equipped, spotlessly clean, and beautifully presented. It had everything we needed and instantly felt like a home away from home. The location is so peaceful and quiet, with stunning views all around. We have booked with auchenheglish lodges a few times now and honestly can't fault them. The booking is so easy and straight forward, customer service is great, any time we have emailed its always been responded to quickly. We previously stayed in the Criech Lodge but booked the Heron one this time and weren't disappointed. We love everything about these lodges, the heron lodge with the wrap round decking is lovely and peaceful. We are already planning our return for next year.
We stayed in Crenich Lodge for 6 nights and it was the most perfect holiday rental. Tastefully decorated, clean and comfortable and the view was OH WOW. What a treat to look out at Loch Lomund right on the water edge. Will definitely be back.
This was an excellent location and a fantastic property with unspoilt views. The property manager was very responsive and joining instructions comprehensive,could not fault it.
The apartment was very well equipped, nicely furnished and clean with some nice touches such as biscuits and milk. Nice quiet location. Ample parking was available, check in was easy. The apartment is upstairs so carrying heavy bags was a bit of a challenge but we knew that before we booked, the only negative was the staircase window outside the apartment was in dire need of cleaning.
No.3 was absolutely perfect for our first staycation with our Daughter and Grandparents. We had everything we needed, including travel cot and highchair, and Liz could not be more helpful before and during our trip! The apartment is also in the perfect location - with the most incredible views over the Loch and just a short walk away from Duck Bay, Cameron House and to Loch Lomond shores. We’d absolutely love to come back and stay again!
What a dream. Beautifully located and everything thought of. We felt at home straight away. Ryde cottage was spotless, comfortable and homely.
The accomodation was lovely, spacious, exceptionally clean and really well decorated. The starter pack was excellent and just what we needed. In fact the apartment had everything we needed and was well stocked. Comforrtable bed and comfortable sofa and other furniture. We have previously stayed at the log cabins on the site many years ago which were great but found this apartment to be better. There was hardly any noise and is set in a lovey location. Would happily go back there.
This was our second time staying at Bonnie Banks. The property is amazing, quiet location (there is very little traffic noise from the nearby main road) and lots of birdsong. An owl flew past each evening and I 'might' have spotted a pine martin! (Although can't be certain as it was dark.) Lots to do nearby, or just chill in the hot tub and sauna.
The House is really lovely and clean with everything we needed to make our stay very enjoyable and comfortable. We were however a bit disappointed with the front bedroom which was quite dark and dull compared to the other 4 which were bright and airy with gorgeous views over Loch Lomond. Views we definitely appreciated and will remember. There were however a few issues: - When we arrived the beds had not been set up as requested but someone arrived within 5 minutes of us phoning the contact number to sort it out. - Unfortunately the floors were still very wet and a bit slippy which was...more
Comfortable accommodation that is well located for access to Loch Lomond, the Arrochar Alps and the Trossachs. Locally there are paths and quiet roads that stretch from Balloch to Luss and also to the hills on the other side of the busy A82.
Great accommodation for two, very comfortable and spacious. Everything you need and easy access to the loch.
I booked direct , very responsive , website easy to utilise very clear and concise information with helpful local information too. Prior to arrival I was contacted about our arrival a family of six adults. We arrived first upon entry very clean , spacious well looked after property with beautiful well planned decor, great size accommodation very comfortable and well maintained , I would rebook and I have already recommended , quiet stone g location with the most amazing views
