This really is a great place to stay, an impressive building in a tranquil setting. Nicely furnished and with a well equipped kitchen it has a bath (as well as shower) with loads of hot water and very comfy beds. The place is lovely and warm - centrally heated but with an open fire too. Add to all this charming and efficient hosts! Thoroughly recommended.
We often stay in this area to visit elderly parents. We’ve stayed at Noddsdale estate a few times and Jane is a marvellous host. This is the first time staying at Willow Cottage and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Clean and tidy, very modern with good facilities, light bright and airy. We had already pre-booked a week this summer as well and so glad we did, can’t wait to enjoy the lovely garden - weather permitting! Although we know the area well it’s always nice to walk along Largs seafront and take the coastal drive to Gourock. You can also get a train from Largs to Glasgow always good for...more
