Ash lodge had everything we needed for our stay. It was clean, warm and the bed was so comfortable. Relaxing in the hot tub after spending the day walking and exploring was lovely. Richmond castle and Easby Abbey are dog friendly as was the local pub where we had a delicious Sunday lunch. Would definitely recommend a stay at Flowery Dell…. I bet it’s even better in the summer months.
This was our 8th year staying at flowery dell and I have to say they have NEVER let us down. The team at flowery dell do all that they can to make you feel welcomed and comfortable. The location and surroundings are perfect for a quiet “get away from it all” break and I would highly recommend it. Richmond town is a short 5 min drive where everyone is friendly and the village of Hudswell is a 30 min gentle stroll away with a great village owned pub. We booked again for next year when we departed.
This was our 3rd visit to Flowerydell Lodges. We have stayed in a different lodge each time. All lodges have exceeded my expectations. Chestnut lodge this time was beyond immaculate. All of the extra touches meant so much (a hamper with lovely little Yorkshire treats inside, family games to enjoy whilst at our stay, even down to a few washer tablets to use for the washer!) a beautiful style lodge with easy to use heating, very good WiFi, a luxurious hot tub and everything else, including friendly, welcoming communication from the FD team. We had a wonderful stay and the lodge is lovely with beautiful surroundings. Very peaceful which is what we were looking for. It was our wedding anniversary and we were left a lovely gift of Prosecco with a message on our arrival. The weather wasn’t the best unfortunately but we enjoyed going out when we could then relaxing in the lodge. Thank you Flowery Dell.
Our sixth stay here and once again we had an amazing break. The lodge and surrounding area is lovely. The team here are also incredibly friendly and professional. It’s a fantastic base to explore North Yorkshire and wider if you have time. We will be booking again !
This was the 18th time we have 'staycationed' at Flowery Dell and the high standards set by the team continue to impress us every visit. We are very familiar with the Wild Cherry Lodge and have had many happy holidays with friends and family here as it is spacious, comfortable and well-equipped. We really appreciate the special touches such as a card and local hamper to celebrate our birthday/anniversary. We stayed in Larch this time with our dog. The touch of the hamper and the wine for my husbands birthday was lovely. Property was great for our needs. The location is wonderful and Richmond itself is a charming place. The weather was not great with a storm on the Saturday. Unfortunately there was a power cut to the area on the Saturday evening. An emergency light came on in the property so we felt safe. It was cold and dark but that did not stop the owners springing into action, firstly fetching up a high powered torch and then they fetched a gas cannister for the calor gas heater. What a p...more
We have been going to flowery Dell now for approx twenty years and go once sometimes twice a year. We went recently for my husband's birthday and were greeted with a lovely birthday hamper of beers, crisps and nibbles, one happy husband! The lodges are perfectly located on the outskirts of Richmond and are nestled amongst trees and nature with lots of visits from the local rabbits, pheasants and squirrels. This was our second visit to Flowery Dell Lodges. We returned because we really like the accommodation and the location. The Lodge we stayed in was Whitebeam and had everything we needed and more. The sauna and hot tub were perfect therapy after long walks in the Dales. The kitchen was well kitted out for cooking a nice meal in the evening and there were even maps and walk guides which were very handy. Once walking, cooking and sauna...ing was over there is sky sports, Netflix etc on the large TV. We had a great 4 day stay de-stressing thanks to Flowery Dell Lodges.
My partner and l stayed at flowerydell Lodges for the first time after seeing there Advert online and the amount of exellent reviews they had, We where not disappointed the cabins where spotless our Rottweiler Rubybear chilled out straight away ,it was so peaceful the welcome pack was a nice touch the staff where super friendly, We will definitely be back and l would highly recommend this gem of a place Janet David Rubybear

We really enjoyed our short break at Flowery Dell near Richmond staying at the Birch lodge that was fantastic. The lodge was very well equipped so we could simply enjoy our stay and enjoy our time - the welcome pack was much appreciated. The hot tub was excellent and it was great for chilling out in the evening. The location of Flowery Dell was great as it enabled us to enjoy both North Yorkshire and the North East. We would thoroughly recommend Flowery Dell to anyone looking for a luxury break.
We have stayed here for a while now each year and we love it so relaxing and friendly Always clean even the hot tub gets checked twice a day. They supply every thing you need for your stay. And they even go to the effort of leaving a lovely gift has it was my birthday whilst i was away a real special touch And we will be booking again
I particularly like staying in the Mullberry cabin as it's perfect for a romantic break away and has everything you need. The small gift pack of chocolates, wine, coffee and tea bags are a real touch of luxury. Got to say I love the log burner and modern kitchen, all in all a lovely stay.

A fantastic return visit to Flowery Dell. Family break away with the pups in this slice of heaven. Such a great location for so much, and the best place for switching off. Local exploration of Richmond, York, the Dales, Hudswell, Catterick, and thr lodge itself the perfect tonic to reset and relax inbetween. Can never fault this place, from communication and the helpful staff on reception, to the staff always on hand if any issues (which there were none!). Fantastic, and went far too quick. Highly recommended.
