We loved our stay at Sea to Sea. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well equipped it and felt like home from home. The location is great, 15 mins walk from the sea. The house is situated on a hill but we enjoyed the walk. We liked the garden space as well. We will definitely be returning.

My sisters and I had the most wonderful long weekend together. Our yearly sister trip paid off once again. The Seafarer cottage is the perfect place for exploring the Kent coast. Since we had the best weather, we walked a lot and also enjoyed the close proximity to the white cliffs. The pub at the beach was our daily card playing, food eating and wine drinking spot. The cottage might look a bit old from the outside but on the inside it was charming, clean, and surprisingly modern. We'd definitely stay here again.
The house is a typical beautiful English house. Very cozy and on a beautiful location. We enjoyed our stay and can recommend it. Also a big compliment to KEEPERS Cottage for the good service, rapid response and their flexibility. Highly appreciated.

Die Unterkunft bietet alle Annehmlichkeiten. Die Vermieterin Pauline ist sehr freundlich und wohnt gleich nebenan. Es ist ruhig dort. The Nook ist perfekt gelegen. Von dort aus erreicht man die Küste in ein paar Minuten. Über die Promenade kann man bequem am Strand bis zum Pier gehen. Das historische Stadtzentrum von Deal ist immer einen Besuch wert. Geht man in die andere Himmelsrichtung erreicht man Sandwich.
We had the delight of being the first visitors for 2024 so the house was spotless - literally. It made a stay in Dover much more bearable as we were there for work. The owners had put great attention to detail to what a visitor may need for their stay. We rebooked following a quick 5 day trip to Oostende for a few more days rather than the Premier Inn. The walk over the hill behind the house was lovely too when the sun decided to make an appearance. Nice to have that on your doorstep.
My daughter and two grandsons stayed here. The very much enjoyed their stay. They found the cottage comfortable and well equipped, although it is a bit of a trip to the toilet in the middle of the night! It's very convenient for the beach and a short walk into the town. They were able to park right outside the house much of the time, and nearby the rest of the time. I think it would help visitors if the instructions could say where rubbish should be left on the rubbish collection day.
This cottage was just perfect. It has been beautifully renovated and decorated to a high standard. The beds are so comfy too. It is the perfect location for exploring the area. We walked down to the beach and had a fabulous meal at The Zetland Arms on the first night. The second night we cooked in the small but well equipped kitchen and ate in the gorgeous garden. Very comfortable, well located for centre of town. We had a lovely stay there and wish it could have been longer.
I think we picked the coldest weekend of this winter but The Drift cottage was warm and cosy. Spotlessly clean with lots of added extras, plus the added bonus of a parking space which I was able to get my Mini Countryman on. There’s a nice decking area which unfortunately was much to cold to sit on, a nice touch for the summer though. Just a short walk from shops, restaurants and pubs, perfect all round.
My husband and I had such a wonderful two-night stay at Willow Tree Lodge. The location was excellent and the facilities were all in perfect condition and SO CLEAN. Effort was made everywhere and you could really tell. I usually like exploring different places and picking new accommodation each time, but I would definitely come back here a second time.
We can't fault our stay at The Pink House. The location was absolutely ideal, the condition fabulous and the beds comfortable. Our only feedback would be that not every room has a mirror which would be useful.
We really enjoyed our return stay at Pier View. The flat is in a perfect position with excellent views of the beachfront and with all amenities and comforts. It is bright and modern with every facility for an enjoyable, relaxing holiday. We hope to return again next year as we had wonderful holiday. I had a lovely short stay at this perfectly formed little house. It has been beautifully renovated and had everything I needed. As I was there in early March, I made good use of the woodburner! Customer Service was perfect too.
As a family of four this was a delightful place to stay. The open plan living and dining room was very helpful and the large outdoor space provided plenty of room for outdoor play. The facilities were immaculate right through the house and made for a very enjoyable stay (and the little touches in the fridge upon arrival were a lovely surprise). Would highly recommend.
We enjoyed our stay tremendously at Lavender Apartment. Everything was as stated on the website, and more. The welcome pack was much appreciated, as we're recommendations to local restaurants etc. Walmer Castle was close by, and very enjoyable, as were our trips to Broadstairs and Sandwich. We would certainly stay at Lavender Apartment again should we revisit the area, and use Keepers cottages again, who were very friendly and helpful throughout.
We so enjoyed staying in this spacious, stylish and comfortable family orientated house. Our 2yr old grandson was delighted and entertained by the array of toys , play areas and garden The adults also loved the choice of places to sit, eat, chat and just be together. The beds are super comfortable and having all the bathrooms were a bonus.

Large property right on the seafront of trendy Deal, the sunrise on midsummer morning from the top floor master bedroom was spectacular. Arranged over 3 floors, all the rooms are large, well furnished and comfortable, the kitchen is fully equipped. The location could not be better. The beach is literally across the road as on street parking. The High Street with an abundance of independent shops, cafes (don't miss Jenkins seafood), bars, delis, estaurants (try The Blue Pelican) and a very popular market of Saturday, all a few minutes stroll. We loved staying in Saltwater cottage - it is so perfect, well equipped and comfortable, and so tastefully decorated! Very cosy too - when the weather turned, we enjoyed using the log burner and on the sunny days we used the BBQ and enjoyed the little garden. The beds are super comfortable with very good quality linens. Slept like a dream! We would love to return!

We had a fabulous New Year with family and friends at Downs Cottage. The house is stunning and its location right next to the beach made our stay really special. We absolutely loved the open plan kitchen / lounge area, a perfect place to host a gathering of family and friends.
We stayed in Sea View Cottage as two families, and had a wonderful time. The house is beautifully furnished and decorated, with so much character. The location - near the beach, and a short walk from the high street and harbour area - was perfect too. There's a playground nearby for the kids too. We'd thoroughly recommend it to others, and would happily stay again if the opportunity arises.

Stayed over a period of unplanned works at our property. Despite being arranged at very short notice this beautifully appointed cottage was a real haven from the chaos. It was very well equipped, spotlessly clean and comfortable and felt much larger on the inside than it looks. The secure garden (for our little cockerpoo) led right to the short path to the beach. We were staying in January in icy temperatures and it was warm and welcoming. With the direct views straight to sea from the rear rooms, it would be an enchanting place to stay at any time of the year. Highly recommend.

We have stopped in Deal a few times before in other cottages but our first here. It's a lovely little cottage, we thought of it a bit like staying on a boat as it is compact and ideally you don't want to be taller than 6ft. The stairs are a tight spiral with a rope hand rail as well as hand rails but you need to be sure footed. Location is gorgeous as the neighbours who have lived there nearly 30yrs maintain the wonderful arrangement of potted flowers, trees and colourful bushes. It has all the facilities you need but you should shop 'day to day' which is not a problem as nothing in D...more
We had a lovely time in Deal celebrating special family birthdays and hired the cottage for our family of 3. It is a very cosy and comfortable cottage with a fabulous location and is close to the Seafront plus shops and restaurants. The stairs are steep, so just be mindful if anyone has mobility or knee issues. The cottage came with a Welcome folder, which we found very useful, and some lovely welcome cookies and milk. We had a lovely time - thank you.
A lovely property which worked really well for our mixed group of three generations of our family plus a very small dog. All prior requests were met and available on arrival eg travel cot and high chair and we were pleasantly surprised at how spacious the property was. The location is excellent as the house is very close to Deal High Street and all its amenities. I would recommend this property to anyone visiting Deal.

The cottage is excellent. It’s positioned a short drive from 3 fantastic golf courses so is perfect for a golf weekend. 4 large bedrooms meant we all had our own rooms. A small welcome pack of biscuits, milk and a few other bits was a welcome surprise. It’s a short walk to the town of Sandwich in the evening. Clean, warm and spacious the cottage is definitely somewhere I would recommend.

A last minute booking and Keepers Cottages could not have been more helpful even appearing in person as we checked in to make sure all was well. A bottle of wine and crisps was a nice welcome touch to arrive to - (just one aside -some toiletries would have been nice). The cottage was well equipped and comfortable throughout. A really comfortable and interesting house in the old part of Deal. Of the two living-rooms, that in the basement was especially lovely and cool, whilst the roof terrace was a great place to while away a sunny evening. The property has excellent facilities, including a bathroom, ensuite shower and three toilets. The stairs are quite steep, and you have to pay due regard to the clear messages to "mind your head" when gaining access to the roof. Lovely Cottage in a great location - everywhere in walking distance. Took the 82 bus to Dover Castle (it stops outside). Excellent visit full of history. More tourist information leaflets on site would be good. Made good use of the outside courtyard space for eating out (serenaded by sparrows!). Very comfortable bed and seating (although the sofa was a bit deep for my short legs!). The spiral staircase was fine for us fit and active 70 year olds but might be a challenge for the less fit. We spent a long weekend at Bowden Lodge to celebrate my birthday and there was plenty of space for the whole family. The kitchen was well equipped, bathrooms, furnishings and decor were all very stylish and yet homely. The games room with the pool table was a great asset and well used by my grown up grandchildren but it also had plenty there for young children. The garden is large and we found a great space for playing cricket and football or just sitting on the terrace having a cup of coffee. We had a fantastic stay at The Corner House in Deal. The location is absolutely excellent – just a short walk to the seafront and town centre, yet tucked away enough to enjoy some peace and quiet. The house itself was spotless and beautifully maintained, with everything we needed for a comfortable break. It was also ideal for my little dog, with plenty of lovely walks nearby – coastal walks, and dog-friendly spots to explore. Air conditioning needed upstairs as the bedrooms were unbearably hot to sleep in in the hot days, as the windows only opened a small amount. The sofa needs replacing as the overlarge seat cushions were all shapes as if jumped on for 6 months, and the 30cm back cushions should be zipped in place to the sofa but all zips were broken so just sagged down Most of the glazing of the crockery is cracked. The shower head in the bathroom only delivered a jet wash type spray or a thin deluge. If the above items are attended to we would highly recommend it

This was our fourth stay at this lovely cottage. Great location, no need for car, close to beach, shops and restaurants and pubs. A good layout of rooms with plenty of space to relax. Very well equipped and comfortable sofas and beds with quality bed linen. Keepers Cottages provide an excellent service with someone always on hand to answer any questions. The property was both clean and tidy and the pretty garden was much appreciated as was the small welcome pack of Gilda's goodies. Will happily return again and again.

Ollerton is definitely one of the most comfortable and attractive homes I have ever had the pleasure to stay in. It is spacious, beautifully designed and decorated and was perfect for our group which included three generations. We liked the position in the High Street too. The lovely garden was an added bonus. It had everything we could need. Would definitely visit again, highly recommended.
Well thought-through house in terms of living space and bedrooms, and in a top location for the views and access to Deal. We didn't have access to hot water for 24 hours but got a partial refund from the owners for our trouble. Blinds in the three sea-facing rooms are pretty ineffective and eye masks/black-out blinds for children were pretty key to have .
We spent 3 nights at Tally Ho over the Easter break and had a great time. The house is really comfortable and warm, with the added bonus of a secluded courtyard. The house was very clean and everything works well (although it took us a while to understand the induction hob, but that’s because we are not used to them.) If I can be really picky, I’ll say that the kitchen should have the basics such as olive oil, vinegar, coffee etc. overall, a really nice address to wind down and spend time as a family.
The Abode is a wonderful 2 bedroom cottage with everything you need. It's nicely appointed with coffee, tea, and snacks to make your first morning go smoothly. It's very clean and the beds are comfortable. The back garden is an extra delight.
Star Cottage was lovely in every way. It was spotlessly clean and the owners had thought of everything. The bathrooms were luxurious and the mattress was the best I'd ever slept on. There is a delightful little courtyard garden which was great for the dog's sunbathing. Keepers Cottages answered questions very quickly. If I stay in the Whitstable area of Kent again, my first choice would be staying at Star Cottage via Keepers Cottages.
The property was totally satisfactory. We had a few issues with operating the heating system when we arrived in winter and it took a few days to get help with regulating it, but after that, system worked well. The location is great for pedestrians, close to the beach and also to shops. Nicely decorated cottage, and stairs are good. The TV was not a smart TV as far as we knew, so we had limited streaming. Kitchen well equipped and a larger fry pan was provided when we asked for one. A new hose also provided but we never figured out how to attach and use it.
We had a lovely week at Tides Reach. It was very clean and had everything we needed. The location wad ideal and it was nice to be tucked away so very quiet in the evening, The small back garden was lovely and got the sun in the morning but had enough shade when needed. It’s easy to walk into Deal and very close to the beach and Walmer Green. We love Deal and have been a few times now and have used Keepers Cottages. They have a great range of dog friendly properties and they have all been excellent.
House was cosy, warm and full of light. An ideal place to stay in Whitstable as it’s very close to the seafront and the town. Plenty of room to be separate as well as together. We had a wonderful Christmas week there.

Our mixed group of 10 adults and young adults had a great long weekend at Stone Hall Farmhouse. The house and gardens are beautiful, we never ran out of crockery or kitchen equipment, everything was high quality and in good condition. Comfy beds and bedding. Good walks nearby though the pub we visited didn’t feel that pleased to see us! No matter, it had no negative impact on a really lovely a break. It was that rare thing when the hype actually lived up to expectations.
We stayed at Steadfast for a few days over May half term. This was our 3rd visit to Deal and this location was unbeatable. With views directly over the high street from the sitting room, we felt absolutely in the centre of things. It was so lovely to step outside the incredible Georgian front door and be a minute (if that!) from the beach and everything that the High Street has to offer. Rogue's Cottage is such a gem! The decor and styling is very "Deal" - stylish and effortlessly cool! Just a 1 min walk from the beach in one direction, about 15 seconds from a incredibly friendly, traditional pub and 4 mins walk from the High Street with all its cafes and boutiques. We managed to drop our luggage off easily and then parked a 1 min walk from the front door. Well equipped with everything for a stay - but why bother when there are so many good places to eat nearby. Lovely place to stay very clean all the mod cons to make your stay the perfect one very comfortable would recommend to anyone that wants the right place for a holiday .15 min walk to the bell hotel people very friendly. Deal worth a day out also canterbury Bus or train we went to rye what a lovey place for a day trip by car 50 mins wife driving .
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Writer's Cottage. We loved the features and particularly the beautiful garden. The owners had gone over and beyond providing things like crockery, condiments etc. Very easy to get to anywhere in Deal from here as central position. A couple of cracks here and there, but the character of the cottage more than made up for that. We'd certainly come back.
We decided to book a few days away last minute and could not have been more pleased with Flint House and Amy was so helpful managing our booking- so a very big thank you to Keepers Cottages. The house is perfect - such attention to detail and everything you need. Moments away from the beach with the Zetland Arms looking over the water. A lovely walk along the beach path to Deal is a perfect weekend jaunt - rewarded by fish and chips - and a game of cluedo by the log fire on our return - what’s not to love ! We had a wonderful weekend at Glen Hill as a big group of 15. Great access to the sea and Deal, with amazing gardens. The house is lovely and full of character. The Keepers Cottage’s team were incredibly helpful and quick to respond to any requests. Highly recommend!

We are very pleased to have stayed in Sea View. It proved to be an excellent base for visiting Folkestone in the low season. Everything worked and was quite easy to understand. Heating easy to control once one had fathomed out that each room has independent controls. At our age low beds can be a challenge but otherwise, comfortable for us. Good restaurants very close by. Two minor points, the views are superb, even those outside of the bedroom windows looking out over Autumn trees and well maintained elegant houses, but it would have been helpful if we could have been forewarned that there ...more
HAD A BRILLIANT WEEK IN LILAC COTTAGE, LOVELY LOCATION JUST UP FROM THE BEACH, THE COTTAGE HAD EVERYTHING WE NEEDED , STYLISH FURNITURE, COMFORTABLE BEDS AND HIGH QUALITY BEDDING, GREAT KITCHEN, CONSERVATORY AND GARDEN. WE WERE LUCKY WITH THE WEATHER SO ENJOYED A FEW DAYS IN BOTH THE BEACH AND GARDEN. WOULD RECOMMEND THIS COTTAGE, AND WILL CERTAINLY BE BOOKING AGAIN.
The cottage had everything you needed for two and welcome gesture was also very thoughtful. We had never been to Deal and was extremely pleased we picked it, also cottage was in a very ideal position to all amenities from shops, beaches, pubs cafes all on your doorstep. Parking is a problem,we had to park the car about 600 metres away. There should be an instruction how to work the heating. Very suitable for elderly people because of the handrails. Kitchen extremely well equipped.
This house is a gem, a real treat by the sea, the pub next door is fabulous, the walk into Deal is beautiful. Comfy beds, lovely furnishings, a real treat for a mini break or longer.
The Flat in Deal is a lovely property in the heart of Deal. The flat is well kept and the beds are super comfy. There is a small outside space so you can bring a dog. Whilst we liked our flat, there was alot of noise both nights from the pub next door. It had loud music until well into the early hours. That was a pity for us as we were there for a relaxing getaway.
This cottage is perfectly refurbished and kitted out. A short walk to the main street (great bakery and coffee.) And a swift walk to the beach via the Neptune pub. We come to whitsable every year and this is the best house we've had yet!
This was one of the best houses we have ever stayed in. It’s in an excellent location so well provisioned. The owners had put in a new cot and high chair at our request for our 2yo granddaughter which was very helpful. The house was clean and comfortable without being too pristine and it was very calm and relaxing. Just right for a family holiday. We loved it and will be back!
We had a very enjoyable holiday at The Heights and found it a well set up house. My one small criticism is the convenience of watching the TV. There is not enough space in front of the TV with one person looking at it from the left side.
We loved the cottage and location, the bus stop was nearby and we didn’t have to use our car. The seating in garden was great but we could have done with a parasol as the sun was very strong. We were not keen on the Jack and Jill bathroom and the roll top bath was a waste of space as it was too deep for older people to use. The seating area in the dining room was good but in the lounge only 2 people could sit comfortably to watch tv. We absolutely loved the cottage and our stay in Deal! The location is superb with everything nearby but remains very quiet and peaceful. We loved going out in the morning to see the sunrise - it’s minute away so you can walk even in your pyjamas The place itself is very spacious, tastefully decorated and well equipped. There is plenty of nice chillout spaces for a cuppa or a cheeky beer or cocktail. Captain’s cottage is ideally located for the beach and enjoying Deal shops. The house has 3 spacious bedrooms with the luxury of 2 bathrooms. The kitchen is a good size, fully equipped and with access to the small paved garden. Plenty of living space.
During our stay we enjoyed being able to watch films in the snug or sit by the fire in the living room playing games and reading. Our dog enjoyed the long walks along the beach ending in a local pub or on the pier in Deal. On Christmas day we were able to cook using the great facilities and sit at the dining table enjoying the view of garden.

We were there in mid June and booked this location for a few reasons: 1) the hot tub, 2) the privacy, and 3) the enclosed garden which allowed us to bring along our Emma. Emma is our cat and loves being outside for sun napping and bird/bee/bug watching and we enjoy being able to relax and not worry about her getting out into a road or other dangerous situation. Really Interesting place. Stylish, high end furnishings and comfortable. Couple of things would make it more welcoming. Lot of dust on lampshades and behind TV. I notice cos allergic. Little things like a bit of tin foil, kitchen paper, couple of herbs and bit of oil would be nice. Washing machine provided but no tablets or clothes horse. Not too much to ask really. Outside space really needs cleaning especially as looking at broken windows of another property. Appreciate, not a lot you can do about that but at least it's quiet apart from kitchen extractor. Our family spent a wonderful week in Malvern House in Deal. Close to the Beach and to Deal Castle we had lovely walks and a great time in and around Deal. The house US spacious and very cosy at the same time. The kitchen is well equipped, the baths are modern and very nice. The Keepers Cottages Team is always very helpful and extremely friendly. Can‘t wait to come back next year.
Plenty of space in this freshly decorated flat. We loved the views over the sea. It was an easy walk to Deal with its excellent restaurants. Busy road in front but no traffic at night. We had a very enjoyable stay.
Great position; very well equipped; a wonderful, cozy home for a couple or family. Just be aware that, as with many properties in this area, the stairs are very steep!
A wonderful place to stay for peace and quiet, and just switching off for a few days with family. Stand in front of the cottage, facing the fields ahead of you, and just listen to the soothing silence, a real change from our city life. Well-positioned for access to plenty of nice beaches, best of which was Ramsgate, less than 30 mins drive.
The Loft was a superb apartment in a great location. The only criticism we would make is the shortage of some of the usual household supplies. i.e. Bare minimum of toilet paper, washing up liquid, hand wash in the bathroom, spare rubbish bags etc.The dishwasher was broken and you had to fill a huge sink with water to wash up. It would be a good idea to supply a plastic bowl. Only minor things, but would make a difference.
Location was great, very close to the seafront and the station. The managers were very accommodating about a late check out and had very prompt response times. Some small niggles; the fuse for the downstairs lights kept tripping, there were only partial toilet rolls in all the bathrooms, despite being an 8 person house there are only 5 bowls.
Very happy with the property, very spacious, comfy and well organised for a two bedroom house.....our only problem was parking, although there may have been a few gaps in the vicinity people normally like to have their car nearby as close as possible and we struggled to be able to do this. Overall a very nice stay.
We were a group of 3 friends with our young kids ranging from 2-6 years old and we had a delightful stay at Poplar Farmhouse and Barn. By hiring the additional farmhouse it gave us the perfect amount of space and was great value for money. The team were incredibly helpful in the lead up to our stay providing cot beds (though you need to provide your own cot sheets which wasn’t a problem for us). Checkout was on the slightly early side at 10am, but requesting a later checkout for noon, wasn’t a problem and allowed us to have a more relaxed end to a wonderful break. A beautiful cottage in an amazing location. Coops Landing has everything you will need for a lovely stay in Deal, and the location is second-to-none. Clean and cosy and beautifully decorated, and Keepers Cottages could not be more helpful. Be aware that the stairs are steep (fine if you take them slowly), and there are a couple of low doorways. But it's a lovely place and I'll definitely be back.
We have stayed at Reed loft once before in 2022 and booked straight away to come back in 2024 and it did not disappoint!! It was even better. We just love the location, the layout of the property beautifully done, great space for a family Christmas and they even provided a beautifully decorated Christmas tree. The added bonus of a heated indoor pool and new sauna, gives it the wow factor. There were a couple of minor things such as a toilet seat that needed tightening but nothing that affected our stay. The cottage is well located, very close to the beach, 2 pubs and a short walk to a local shop. It was almost too well equipped, with rather chaotic kitchen and living room cupboards and cutlery, glassware and crockery all over the place. There were a number of maintenance issues that we reported and should have been addressed. The garden was lovely but needed to be tidied up and the garbage bins were full when we arrived. With a bit of TLC I would be able to raise my ratings of this cottage.
Oldstairs House, is a grand old lady. A bit creaky here and there, and worn in places, although clean and tastefully dressed. Kitchen well equipped and dining hall sat 10 comfortably. Beds were comfy and rooms were so dark and quiet at night, therefore good night’s sleep. Be aware that there is only one shower in the en-suite, no problem, but had to queue in the morning. Unfortunately the photos of the property were not reflective of the condition it is currently in. We were disappointed to find it unclean and very dusty, with a strong smell of damp throughout the hallway, stairs and landing. The property is in need of some refurbishment.
6 of us stayed for 3 nights the apartment is in a good location for exploring Deal and has the added bonus of 2 parking spaces. It also has the bonus of 3 bedrooms and three bathrooms. I would definitely recommend and stay there again.
Wir haben eine traumhafte Woche in derm perfekt gelegenen kleinen Fischercottage mit Meerblick verbracht, alles wr super sauber und sehr liebevolll für unsere Ankunft vorbereitet. Die Lage ist sehr ruhig, man findet sehr gut in fußläufiger Enfernung gebührenfreien Parkplätze. Wir haben die kleinen Garten genossen und auch mit sechs Erwachsenen ausreichen Platz gehabt und in der perfekt ausgestatteten Küche sehr gut kochen können. Wir kommen gerne wieder.
This is a lovely house, only about two years old, which is very comfortable and well equipped. It was very clean on arrival and we appreciated the crisps and soft drink left to start us off. The house is well located for Deal and its amenities, but also for Dover Castle, Margate, etc. The garden is rather overlooked, but our grandchildren enjoyed playing football on the lawn.
We had a very comfortable week’s holiday in this property. It is stylishly decorated, comfortable and very well equipped. It is located in a quiet street just a few minutes from the high street & beach and super convenient for the station and supermarkets. The only slight drawbacks are that cooking can be tricky as the cooker is right behind the kitchen door and the back yard would benefit from some (real) plants.
We, a dutch couple with their dog, had a lovely stay for a week in fern cottage. Luckily we could park on the street and we didn't use the car untill it was time to go. A lovely bed, bath shower, kitchen and garden and really next to the center. It was spot on. The only thing we missed was a hoover or broom. It was two days very hot and the dog was losing a lot of hair.
What a great find! Beautiful rustic cottage in a wonderful location . Within a stones throw of the beach and 2 pubs you really couldn't ask for more. There was everything you need in the cottage for a very comfortable stay and a garden to sit in the sun. 10 mins at the most to drive into Deal if we wanted more shops and bars. We were there for 3 nights and would have stayed longer if we could have - wonderful
We had a great break at the Old Smokehouse with the bonus of plenty of spring sunshine. We loved the character of the property and it is very comfortable with a well equipped kitchen. The team at Keepers Cottage were helpful as always, letting us have a late checkout. I had not factored in that the clocks were changing on our departure day and we lost an hour! There are steep stairs in the property and some low door frames, just to be aware.

We had a family event in Deal, so people were coming and going and once we had figured out that the key must remain in the key safe, the house worked perfectly for this. The weather around the event (for early May) was glorious so the outside spaces were a plus, not to mention that the beach was actually across the road. Although the property is a little way from the hustle and bustle (at the weekend) of Deal, the walk along Middle Street was always a joy with something unique to look at with every step.
A well furnished property with everything we needed (and more) provided. Only marked down as the windows were not particularly pleasant. Really grimy on the outside and not easy to open. Also the key features of the property include a Courtyard Garden, which is a little misleading as it is a table and chairs set in a small yard with the bins for the flats. Having said that, it was an ideal property to use as a base to explore the surrounding area.
Trafalgar Cottage is in need of much tlc which has been notified to Keepers Cottages The location is wonderful and with some improvements Trafalgar Cottage would be be too.
We stayed at the Bothy for our summer holiday in July 2024. The house is wonderfully located in the countryside of Kent but only a short distance from local shops and the A2. Canterbury, London and the coast are close by. It took us a little extra effort to find the entrance of the property (Dully House) based on the provided instructions. Curious Cottage is a really cute property located in the historic part of Deal. We loved the location and the accommodation, it was perfect for two adults and a dog. It's fully equipped and we liked the court yard area which was a great corner to relax on a sunny afternoon. Having a parking space was also a bonus as they are hard to come by in this town.
I stayed at the Old Cottage on a week that was a mix of typical British weather. The property is right near the beach and town, so on a sunny day when just heading to the beach or going for a walk the location would be great. However on the days its raining and you want to go explore the area, you may find this is a bit of hassle as the nearest on street parking is over 10 mins walk away or you are willing to pay for a car park and move your car during the day (almost every car park is short stay). We had a wonderful time at Elizabeth Cottage. It’s in a perfect location: close to the shops, close to the beach, right in the heart of the lovely conservation area. The cottage is very nicely decorated. Two great double rooms. A small but cosy living room and a fantastic kitchen with everything you need. As stated in the description, these are exceptionally steep stairs and our 4 yo struggled a bit. While we were staying there, we noticed some damp patches on ceilings and walls. We liked this old house with its quirky layout and it was handy for all amenities. There was building work going on opposite, which we were pre-warned about. This was a bit disruptive at times, but didn't spoil our stay too much. The house and kitchen was well fitted out generally, but there was a shortage of bedroom storage. There were a few little things that hadn't been fixed eg a broken hook in the main bathroom and missing toothpaste holder, plus the toilet roll holder in the upper bathroom. The chalet was lovely and had most things we needed. It’s right next to the car park, so no having to haul luggage across the site on a trolley. The upstairs windows had no curtains and the downstairs bedroom on had a translucent blind, I informed the agent and they said they’d speak to the owner about getting something sorted. There were no fans at the property, but once the agent had picked up my messages, they were very quick to deliver one. We would definitely stay again if good window coverings were sorted out for all the bedrooms.
We arrived with our guide dog puppy, and our delivery van of online shopping to find no message, no keys, no emergency contacts, owners not there to give us keys and explain parking etc as promised and no key press code. Amazingly after several phone calls to Keepers Cottages office we got hold of someone. They had no idea but said they would try to contact the owners. After 15 minutes they called to tell us where to find a key and apologise that the person meeting us had left early. We had a lovely time at Old Chelsea. The quiet side street off Middle Street is beautifully kept by one of the other residents, with flower pots everywhere. The cottage is ideal for a couple or small family. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need for any meal preparation. Everything worked well. The king size bed in the main bedroom was extremely comfortable, lovely bedding and very clean. We slept well every night. The bunk bed in the other room was large and looked very comfy too. The cottage is great, very well furnished with everything you need for a comfortable stay. The location is ideal with Whitstable beach and High St within walking distance. Some people may find the spiral staircase a challenge. A nice spacious garden. We would love to return.
The Crows Nest property in the heart of Deal, offers everything from a dedicated office desk area , comfort lounge to a well equipped kitchen and dining area. Even at night the street is quiet offering a good night's sleep on comfortable bedding.
Good location in Whitstable, BUT awfull to find a parking place !!! Once you get one, you'll not to want to leave by car anymore, as you'll most likely not find a place anymore. The stairs are really steep - but with handrail manageble. Al fresco area at back very nice. Problems with hot water in the upstairs shower and at washing up sink in kitchen.. Turns on and off ad lib and then can't be started again. One has to start another tap apart from shower, to get the warmth back !!! Has to be mended. Showerhead upstairs should be replaced. We had a really lovely couple of days - perfect location for the sea and a walk into Deal which we loved. The house is very nice but could do with some care and attention. The blind falls off if you open the window. The garden furniture is rusty with cobwebs. The ice box was dirty with no ice and the place was generally a bit dusty. Lovely house but needs a bit of TLC.
