We have stayed here a few times. The appartment is very well maintaied, very clean and has all the facilities we need. We have already booked to come back later this year, I think that means we do like coming here.
We found 3 Cloisters Walk to be all we could wish for. The location was convenient for walking everywhere, parking was available and it was close to a large Sainsburys. The apartment was very comfortable and well appointed. We appreciated the unexpected little touches that made for a warm welcome and also the support we received from In York Holidays
The little house is a gem! It offers everything one can wish for. The location is perfect and the landlady simply lovely! We will definitely come back! Thank you for an unforgettable week!
LOVELY accommodation and beautifully designed and maintained Attention to detail and little touches ie bottle of wine and choccies on arrival sets it apart Thank you Julia and well done!
My only complaint was the corner suite was im need of a good clean.it was very stained. There was a loose screw on one of dinning chairs which could be dangerious But over all very nice place to stay we will be back
We enjoyed our time at 7 Buckingham, and thank you for the opportunity to stay there. The location is wonderful for walking around York. The accommodations are good. The stairs were a bit difficult for four 70 year olds - kept telling each other it was good exercise. And, being old, the one suggestion we came up with would be grab bars in the bath to help getting in and out of the tub. Thank you again for your part in a wonderful week!
York cottage was easy to find. We'll appointed. Everything provided for a short stay plus lots of thoughtful extras. Comfy. Warm. Opposite a bus stop. 7 minutes from york on bus. Very close to 2 pubs. Owners very helpful over arrival / departure times. Kept in contact in case of issues. Great experience. Highly recommended
Fanstastic location great view great apartment very clean and everything you would need Ernestine very nice too Have stayed here before and I did prefer the sofa rather than the 2 chairs but that’s just my preference Will be back again next year
Just back from our second stay at this first class flat. We knew exactly what to expect and just to check, I opened a kitchen cupboard to look at the glasses - sparking and spotless ! This gives you all the confidence in the world, that the housekeeping team ensure everything is hygienic as well as being spick and span. Fixtures and fittings are good quality and still have plenty life left in them. The views are indeed the best, or among the best in York. We were met by Kim who made us feel welcome and had even bought us milk. Nothing is too much trouble for her and you immediately get the con...more
A very nice two bedroom house, set out over three floors, very clean and well presented, everything to hand that you might need. Supermarket a 5 minute walk in one direction and Monkgate Bar and access to the city is a 3 minute walk the other way. Off road car parking space at rear of the property. Main road can be a little noisy, but not a problem for myself. Helpful team at In York Holidays through whom we booked the accommodation. York is a magnificent place to spend time in and to use as a base to access the Yorkshire Dales, Moors, Wolds or East Coast resorts. We had a lovely day in Wh...more
Lovely place great location by the river for both racecourse and city centre. Plenty of places to eat out .
Stayed at 14 Manor Court for a week, just outside the of the city centre, but within easy walking distance. Local amenities close by and only about 20 minutes walk into York. Plenty of places of interest and great places to eat out.
We had a fantastic three night stay with friends at the end of September beginning of October at 611 Westgate. The apartment is immaculate, comfortable and very tastefully decorated with nice surroundings. It is extremely well kitted out with everything you need for a home from home feel. We loved the balcony for hearing the bells of York Minster and watching the world go by. All in all an extremely relaxing time and having stayed in York many times before this is so central to walk to and from the town without being in it.
This is the second time we have stayed in this property and it is ideally located for a stay in York. I mentioned to Clare in a telephone conversation that the only criticism with the property was the condition of the outside garden furniture which was dirty and well past its sell by date.
Our party comprised one married couple and four female friends. The accommodation was perfectly suited for our needs. The location of the house was particularly important to us. We wanted to be able to walk into the city centre, no driving, no cabs and 47a St John St. was ideal. The housekeeper, Richard, was very helpful and the service from In York Holidays was excellent.
Stayed in number 11 for 3 nights with our two young grandchildren. The location is superb for all the main York attractions and restaurants etc as it is smack bang in the centre of York. The only downside is you can only bring a car to the building between 5pm and 10 am. However this was no great problem. We met the housekeeper as arranged at the free parking location, which is about 5-10 minutes walk. She gave us the keys and parking permit then we walked to the apartment and came back later for the car to get our luggage after 5 pm. The Apartment itself is beautifully appointed and spotle...more
Pros: 1 - Great location; walking distance to most attractions within York 2 - Clean, modern, well maintained and good sized flat. 3 - All amenities provided (Functional kitchen, washer-dryer, Iron, hairdryer, car parking etc.) Cons 1 - 2 of the 3 bedrooms and also the bathrooms don't have any windows so can feel a bit stuffy. The 3rd bedroom with bunk beds is very small and can feel claustrophobic. 2 - View of Royal mail depot from living room. Overall, the pros far outweigh the cons and I would definitely consider living here again.
Just spent a long weekend in York at short notice and the apartment delivered everything we needed. The location is fabulous, right in the centre of York, which delivered us right into the heart of the food and drink festival which was taking place. The apartment was easy to access, with parking relatively nearby - you just need to understand the access details when you get there. The apartment has a character all of its own, with a definite accent on red! We ate out all weekend, but the kitchen facilities would have been more than adequate for cooking for the four of us. Whilst views...more
Being the first time my son and I had visited York we were not familiar with the area in which we would be staying, however it turned out to be not too far from the centre. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything provided.Contact with the owners was easy regarding access and we would definitely recommend this property.
Ideal for a family home from home holiday in York. A little pricey , so could not recommend for regular holidays in our lovely City .
Very central location for a visit to York. All the home comforts, very comfortable, great local shops. Parking an issue if you have two cars, as only one permit!
We have stayed at 4 Crambeck Court several times because we find we can walk almost anywhere in York from there, but can park the car.The flat is very well equipped and clean and booking is easy , by phone, and the staff is friendly, as is the caretaker. No problems.
We have used this house 4 times over the past 8yrs and have always been comfortable with it. However this time we were more than pleased, it seemed brighter, cleaner and more of a home away from home, not just a rental accommodation. Kevin was very helpful and the cleaners were excellent. The bus stop at the corner made it easy to get into the Centre of town and home again. Our only suggestion would be a tumble dryer would have been useful, as given the weather hanging the clothes outside was not possible. We will definitely use this house again.
We have stayed here many times because of the location, it is quiet even though it is so close to the city centre and there is secure parking. The property is basicly clean ( the shower cubicle could do with a deep clean and the sealent renewed ) but apart from that the caretakers do a great job as this is a large property and is always ready for the 2pm entry, sometimes sooner.
I stayed in this apartment with my mother. It is well maintained and exactly like the photos. Great location as it's a walkable distance from tesco, sainsubery's, train and bus stations. All york attractions are close. The agent came and picked us from the train station and that was very kind of her. The apartment is clean and a house keeper was sent to us in the middle of our stay. One down fall is that there are some noises at night shouting of people out late
