Beautiful holiday home with all the home comforts you could want. Lots of personal touches making you feel very special and welcome. Lovely and clean. You will want for nothing. Owners made contact and were extremely pleasant. Picturesque 20 min walk into the city centre. The Walnut Tree is a nice little pub a minutes walk away. There is also a good fish and chip shop，a deli，a small supermarket and a boots chemist just 2 mins walk. Easy access to the A64 for Scarborough & Whitby. Such a gem we will definately be back.
This was our 4th visit & we will be back. We enjoy the freedom of the appartment, we have our breakfast & then off out on foot for the day. We eat out each evening as there is so much choice in York. The appartment is well equiped, warm & cosy, it is great to have a fridge for our milk for breakfast & wine to enjoy in the evening.
A perfect house in a perfect location. Parking was an added bonus as was the proximity of Sainsburys. Dawn, the owner was lovely and made sure everything was perfect and we would want for nothing. Looking forward to going back.
Immaculately clean, really handy parking space, and a three to four minute walk into town. We couldn't find the cutlery - they're in a drawer within a drawer under the hob. Not easy to find but they're there. Everything was perfect here but I have one small gripe - the quality of the mattresses on the twin beds. Although they're new, they're not good ones, and the mattress on the bed with the white frame has "collapsed" on one side. Made for quite an uncomfortable three nights. Double bed is ok. But apart from this the house has everything you would need, is well equipped, very clean and in...more
2nd time we have stayed here, and we will be doing so again!!!! A lovely clean modern property, 10-15mins walk in York. Highly recommended!!!!!
This is the second time we've stayed here. It's a perfect little apartment for the 4 of us. Extremely close to the centre of York and a stones throw from the Minster. We'll be booking it again for our next visit.
Great location just outside the city's wall , within easy walking distance of city center and the main attraction's. The accommodation was spotless and comfortable.
We spent a great week in York. The apartment was very cosy, comfortable and close to the centre of York. The service by the people from Inyork Holidays was excellent.
This apartment was fantastic the view was excellent the host was very helpful friendly very modern apartment loved my stay will be back next year Only thing I would say main bedroom bed not that comfortable may need up-dated as lumpy apart from that excellent
We enjoyed our time at 7 Buckingham, and thank you for the opportunity to stay there. The location is wonderful for walking around York. The accommodations are good. The stairs were a bit difficult for four 70 year olds - kept telling each other it was good exercise. And, being old, the one suggestion we came up with would be grab bars in the bath to help getting in and out of the tub. Thank you again for your part in a wonderful week!
This holiday home could not be criticised in terms of layout, furnishings, etc. A lot of thought had been put into its conversion into a holiday home.
30A Monkgate is perfectly located for easy access to the city. Comfortable townhouse - a real home from home. Parking space is a bonus. Would stay here again.
Everything worked very well with the booking and the houe iteself was in a really good location. Christinewas waiting for us with the keys; customer service phone was very good; and the house itself had everything we needed. It's right by the river and just a short walk along the riverside into the city centre. The sixth bed is a bit small but is fine for a child (or a sshort person). We would certainly recommend the property and InYork rentals.
The flat is lovely with tea, coffee and biscuits on arrival, or wine! You can sit looking out of the windows all day, watching the world go by. We slept well on the comfy beds and the en-suite shower was a powerful wake up in the mornings. Driving into the garage area was interesting and the parking spaces are snug but then we didn't use the car again as we walked everywhere. I found Inyork emails a bit threatening in terms of arriving at the agreed time and so I wondered whether they were equally accommodating if their caretaker arrived later than the agreed time.
Nice apartment , nicely furnished as in the photos . Strongly recommended for families . We stayed here for 6 nights with grandma and 2 teens and all had a great time. The house is very clean and spacious.
We hired all 4 apartments and they were perfect. Excellent location just a couple of minutes into the centre of York. Well equipped, clean and outstanding decor. Those little extras that were provided has a special touch. Would highly recommend these apartments
Really good location handy for two top class hotels - Grand and Principal. Next to train station so can easily visit Leeds. The apartment has everything but had no influence on the weather- cold and rain but you cannot have blame "In York" who are always giving a first class service.
This is the second time we have stayed in this property and it is ideally located for a stay in York. I mentioned to Clare in a telephone conversation that the only criticism with the property was the condition of the outside garden furniture which was dirty and well past its sell by date.
A lovely, light, airy flat, on the second floor, facing west. Very pleasant to sit in. The kitchen is part of the main room, but cooking smells were not a problem. We liked it very much. The booking process was very smooth and efficient. The only drawback is that the walk into town along Leeman Road is dull. Highly recommended.
Generally very pleased and would stay there again. Very good location for station; not so good for centre of town, but we knew that going in. Could use a tea pot, new duvet on spare bed and written instructions on how to operate hob, oven, microwave and washer/dryer. Get rid of those horrible hairy cushions in the living room. Henry Tate.
Both the agent (In York Holidays) and the property's owner (Steve) were friendly, polite and helpful as we arranged our stay, on our arrival, and subsequently. We arrived by train and found the apartment easy to get to from the railway station, by both taxi and bus. Drivers would benefit from the off road parking provided, the flat being based just a stone's throw outside the city's ancient wall, to the south, on a quiet cul-de-sac but conveniently close to main routes out of and around the centre. We enjoyed the attractive walk into central York, many times, as well as a pleasant meander...more
We enjoyed this spacious centrally located apartment for our stay in York, with private parking nearby it gave us the a stress free break.
After a long train journey, we were looking forward to a cup of tea. Disappointingly, the welcome pack only consisted of a packet of Fox's Ginger Crunch biscuits - no milk and certainly no "complimentary" wine, as stated in the on-line booking information. As we were staying for a week and it was self catering, no spare bin liners, only 3 dishwasher tablets and a single J-cloth were not really adequate. Granted, these are relatively minor issues but that is just the point!
We were very happy with the presentation and location of the house, just a walk into the centre of town. The street is very quiet and the house was comfortable and spacious. The ground-floor bathroom could do with a little TLC and a few more garden chairs (there were only 3) would be handy as the house is for 7 guests. We were very happy the housekeeper let us stay on until 2pm on our checkout day. All in all a great holiday
Peter Lane might not be the most beautiful street of York but the tiny lane is very central and quiet at night. The apartment is in a safe, modern house. No. 12 has been renovated with a new carpet and the paint looked pretty new as well. We found everything we needed for our 2weeks stay and felt very comfortable and safe. There is lots of space. I would book this apartement again.
Being the first time my son and I had visited York we were not familiar with the area in which we would be staying, however it turned out to be not too far from the centre. The accommodation was clean and comfortable with everything provided.Contact with the owners was easy regarding access and we would definitely recommend this property.
Lovely, clean & comfortable apartment, location not far outside the city walls so very convenient. Now the coffee table has been added all it's missing is hooks in the bathroom. Very nice place, have stayed before, will stay again.
Second time staying in this apartment. Excellent location from which to explore York and the surrounding areas. Perfect for a family of 4 with all the amenities you need to make this your short stay home from home! One minor awareness point for other travelers - feather bedding and pillows. Luxurious and comfortable, unless like my wife you suffer with allergies. However, the owner/support team are very responsive, so worth asking about this as needed if considering this rental. We would highly recommend 4 Crambeck Court to anyone considering a stay in York!
A fantastic house, spotlessly clean everything you need and more. Location was absolutely brilliant, only used the car once when we went to Skipton, also it was great with the shops all in bishy road. Great chippy and fruit and veg shop, not to mention having Sainsburys at the end of the road.
A little tired needed a few repairs and smarting up,some of the light bulbs needed changing and the fire alarm could do with checking as it went off a number of times during our stay for no reason and also the next door neighbours told us that it had gone off when the property was unoccupied
Have stayed here a few times now because of it's location. York is a beautiful city so well worth a visit. The apartment could do with a bit of upgrading particularly the bedding and pillows which are quite old and stained and the towels are on the small side, bath SHEETS are the norm these days. We are booked into the apartment later in the year so hope some of these issues will have been tackiled. The TV is also a problem, the very helpful caretaker has had to help us out several times with the settings when they have been altered by other tenants.
Nice apartment, convenient for access to the city centre; only problem was the window didn't pen so it got a bit stuffy.
