We paid our first visit to St. Margaret's cottage in 2023 with a view to combining a few days walking in the Scottisch Borders with a visit to my childhood home in Yorkshire. For us, the cottage was witihin easy reach of the ferry terminal at North Shields. The journey there was easy enough and the instructions for the last few miles got us to the cottage without any problems.
