Such a beautiful house in a gorgeous setting. Austin & Julie are brilliant hosts. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay here and definitely want to come back again. The house was the perfect size for 11 of us to stay in with a fab garden area (weather wasn’t the best so we couldn’t use it to the fullest but kids were so happy to see the play area out there). Close to the coast to go to the Saltees, nearby Johnstown estate is only 15 mins away and Hook Head is not too far either. We were sad to leave the house but looking forward to organising another visit in the summer

We booked Woodvilla Lodge for my Grandmothers 80th Birthday celebrations. We had to rearrange our dates for the trip due to Covid but Julie and Austin were very accommodating and this was no problem. We had a fantastic time at the house, the pictures do no justice to the actual size. The bedrooms were private and beds were so comfortable. Everybody had a great sleep. The children loved playing in the garden too. The location is perfect just 2 minute drive to the local shop and chipper. We visited the beach at Kilmore Quay which was fabulous. I couldn't recommended the house more its perfect for a family getaway for all ages. Also Julie and Austin were so laid back and friendly, nothing was an issue for them. I want to say thank you for helping us to make some great family memories together.

Woodvilla Lodge is fabulous accommodation, a spacious house suitable for groups of friends and families. The gardens provide secure area for children to play safely. The house was furnished to a high standard, spotlessly cleaned and the beds were super comfortable, we didn't want to go home! Outdoors was as good as inside, there is great garden furniture and a gas BBQ. It's a little out of the way so transport is necessary although a short walk takes you to Bridgetown. Mary Barry's restaurant is a must - the restaurant can make arrangements to collect and brings you back via flexi bus so your party can relax and enjoy a alcoholic beverage. Wexford is a great place with plenty to see and do. The beaches were spectacular .

Overall a great holiday destination with superb hosts only too willing to meet your every request. We'll be back.

Family including 3 children and grandparent stayed at Woodvilla in June 2021 and nobody wanted to leave! This property is a haven of tranquility with a safe, spacious garden perfect for kids (plenty of toys, swings etc.), and easy to supervise from a luxurious and relaxing outdoor dining area with bbq etc., so everyone happy! A real holiday feel.
The accommodation is great and very comfortable - spacious kitchen, lovely bedrooms, bathrooms etc. Very clean and well maintained throughout.
The location of the house is fantastic - 5 mins from a gorgeous, quiet beach (Ballyhealey), short drive to Kilmore Quay, National Heritage Park, Johnstown Castle, Ballycross apple farm (and so much more that we didn't get to this time!) - all great days out for young and old, and in easy reach of the house. Yet, you're immersed in the beautiful sunny south east country side.
Bridgetown village is also just a 2 min drive down the road with a good Centra and pharmacy, petrol station and a nice new playground.
The hosts of the property, Austin, Julie and Laura, were very welcoming, friendly and so helpful with great knowledge of the local area - a lovely family. We are already planning a return visit - Woodvilla is a real gem.

We had a great time in Woodvilla lodge. The house is comfortable and spacious. Perfect for a large group. Caters really well for children. Garden is wonderful, children spent hours playing. Kitchen is well equipped. The soda bread and cakes were a lovely welcome. The owners were lovely too.

We had a wonderful stay and would highly recommend Woodvilla Lodge for a family holiday. Both Austin and Julie were excellent and gave very good advice on where to go and eat locally. We were very lucky with the weather as well which was a bonus.

Owners extremely friendly and helpful. House was beautiful, warm, comfortable. Perfect for a few families. The only downside is the sitting room is upstairs between the bedrooms, did not bother me but other family members would have preferred the sitting room beside the kitchen.

Just back from a great week in Woodvilla. The house is lovely and has all the home comforts you need. The garden/grounds are amazing with lots of space for kids to play and explore. The local pub Mary Berry's has great food and offers a free shuttle service to and from. Lots to see and do in the area and only a short drive to Kilmore Quay. Austin the caretaker is very friendly and helpful. We will definitely go back!

I had been looking for a place that could accommodate our extended family and this was perfect, brilliant outdoor area for the kids and the inside was really nice, we thoroughly enjoyed our time there and would definitely recommend it, Austin and his daughter were extremely helpful and welcoming.

I could not fault anything about Woodvilla Lodge. It is furnished to such a high standard and has everything you could need, including a fantastic safe outdoor space for kids. The owners went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed. There is plenty to do in the Wexford area. I would definitely recommend this house.

The pictures and text on the website don't fully capture this amazing house. It is an annex to the main large old house but with its own garden, complete with swing and goalposts/football area. Surrounding the garden on two sides are the farm fields, and we were able to play on the baled hay which was just fantastic.
Inside, the house is spectacular. Attention to detail and the quality of finishes is incredible. We were welcomed with Laura's freshly baked scones and bread, which was a lovely touch. Old stone sits with new wood. This was a conversion of an old building undertaken with real skill and attention to detail.
The first task was to decide who was sleeping in which bedrooms - 3 at ground floor (including one en suite) and 2 upstairs (also one en suite but also acting as a shower room). Nothing had been missed. The living room has been designed upstairs to allow in the light but also to provide amazing views over the farm and the western sunsets. It is also a great house for hanging about on those lazy or rainy days, with BBQ also provided, outdoor furniture etc.
This place does sleep 11, and if you're coming with a couple of families, allows different "zones" for them - the family with us slept downstairs and we slept upstairs.
Couldn't recommend this place highly enough, we'll definitely be back.

We loved the house at Woodvilla Lodge, the owners (Austin, Laura & Julie) were very nice: extremely friendly & helpful.
The house itself is lovely: comfortable, fully equipped with a large garden that's great for kids and outside dining.
We could not fault the holiday home or the service provided.
If we were to make some suggestions it would be for every room to have some wardrobes.
We had a great holiday & would return

My family and bridal party stayed here the night before my wedding in Wexford. It's a beautiful house, with fab photograph opportunites. We were welcomed by the owners with Prosecco, balloons, home-made brown bread and home-made buns. We were disappointed we only got to stay one night! Thanks for a great stay, Aoife & Family

We were an extended family of 12 staying for two nights in June. The accommodation was excellent. A very high standard finish across the board. The garden had plenty to keep the kids occupied and with a bbq, firepit and outdoor seating the adults were occupied too. All bedrooms were very comfortable and the kitchen was a great space for all. The owners have thought of everything and they really provide more than you would expect.
Lovely bread and cakes left for us on arrival too which was a nice touch. Will definitely return and have already recommended to friends and family.

We had a fantastic stay at Woodvilla Lodge it really is a home from home, and Laura and Osten were excellent hosts and added little lovely touches such as fresh flowers in the house and delivering us some freshly picked strawberries!
The garden is beautiful and peaceful and our visit was especially made more special by gorgeous warm sunshine our entire stay!
The facilities nearby such as a well stocked shop and a stunning coastline and pubs made it a really enjoyable, relaxing stay.

We stayed for weekend (not long enough) with friends. When we drove down the avenue to the house we were impressed straight away. The gardens were fabulous and secure for the children to play around. The fire in the sitting room was lighting when we arrived and the house was really cosy. The kitchen was fab, buns and homemade bread was left for us, the kitchen had the best of utensils and it was well laid out. The attention to detail in the house was amazing the house was immaculate and it had a really nice flow to it. We will definitely be returning. A massive thank you to Ausitn, Julia and family for their hospitality. I would highly recommend this property. Thank you

We stayed here with my parents and sisters family, and we had a great time. It is ideal for a large group and the house layout is ideal. The owners were very friendly and we really felt very relaxed here and it was perfect for the kids also. I would definitely recommend staying here
