Dalraddy Holiday Park was established in 1968. It covers 39 hectares of what was originally heather moor land. The park currently contains 82 fully serviced traditional static holiday caravans, 6 fully serviced wooden chalet style caravans, 67 fully serviced wooden chalets, 36 pitches for touring caravans and facilities for up to 50 tents making us one of the largest caravan and camping sites in the area. The park also sells static caravans and chalets and acts as a letting service for owners that includes cleaning.
Services on the park include a licensed shop; which provides a retail outlet for estate produce, acts as a booking agent for activities and has a computer with free Wi-Fi. There is also a launderette, children's play park and a recently refurbished central toilet block with under- floor heating.
There are an array of activities to enjoy which are available on the Alvie and Dalraddy estate such as Quad biking,1.5 km zip wire course, horse riding, fishing, gorge walking, paintball, bush craft survival courses, clay pigeon shooting, archery and stag feeding. You can even learn about the environment and history of the estate by enjoying a guided tour .
Beautiful location and excellent equipped cabin all you need. Very comfortable beds with double duvets even on the single beds a little luxury. Nice peaceful location with visits of deer and red squirrels right outside the cabin.
Dalraddy holiday park is great with activities at hand, the quads are great and very good value for money.
This was our third visit to this cabin andwwill return time and time again.
Thank you cabin 71 .
Great location with stunning views. Very homely chalet. Bedrooms a good size and everything we needed provided in the kitchen. Staff were very helpful. We will be booking out next visit for next year shortly back at Dalraddy.
A wonderful chalet in a wonderful location. The chalets are carefully set apart to allow privacy and peacefulness. The staff are friendly and helpful. I would highly recommend Dalraddy, especially for families looking for an active country escape.
Very quiet caravan park beautiful location- very clean caravan nice and roomy. Shower brilliant and second bathroom was a godsend. Double doors onto balcony are great for the sun in the morning. Highly recommend
This caravan was perfect for our first little holiday with our 2 year old son. He loved the caravan and was really sad to be leaving. The location was excellent, 5 minutes in the car to Aviemore and there was so many activities to do locally that we wished we were staying longer.
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived at the chalet at how spacious, clean and modern it was. The kids were straight off exploring and it was so lovely to have that feeling of space and safety. There were plenty of books and videos in the chalet to keep us amused on a wet evening (it is Scotland after all!) the kitchen was very well equipped and clean. The location for us was perfect as we could cycle most places and the cycle tracks are such a bonus with kids in tow. We had a fabulous week and would definitely go back. The cons: these are all very picky and not an issue for us but just...more
Another great holiday at chalet 56, the only difference was better weather this year.
Again lovely cabin with loads to do in surrounding areas. Only suggestions would be a child bed or bunk bed in one of the rooms as our youngest kept falling from his bed and is is adult size so quite a drop for the wee guy (but only a suggestion not a problem).
Will probably return again as the kids had so much fun.
The site was very run down, looks like no money has been invested in it for a long time. Cleanliness of facilities was absolutely shocking, toilet paper left on floor by the cleaner as he was "cleaning" hairs in the plug in the showers, never removed, mould on the roof, lumps of dust over the walls, very dirty. No ventilation in the showers. Very small amount of showers for the size of the place. The park area for children was run down and not much at it. The warden came round twice in one night, couldn't sleep until early hours as noise on the camp site was ridiculous. One group got thrown o...more
I loved the trees and privacy around each pitch. It felt very private but not isolated. The location is great and close to everywhere. The facilities were fairly basic but generally clean and adequate. It was useful to have WI FI but not getting a signal (Vodaphone) was a bit of a pain. All in all I would be very happy to come back again - perhaps for longer than 3 days next time! Thank you.
